The hotel was very good, the rooms have enough space and big bathroom. The views are relaxing and also we needed a favour for print some personal paper and they helped us from reception to do it. Very big bed for a couple and confortable. The location is not perfect but the metro station is nearby so, you can use it, and thanks to booking, in the hostel we had 2 of 3 days free parking. Excelent!!! :-)
Nice, clean, spacious, comfortable, easy, good AC, great stay!
Very spacious room and bathroom, excellent breakfast buffet, charming friendly staff very keen to help, a tranquil part of town but with good connections to the centre and the airport and train station.
The bathroom/wet room lacks enough hooks and/or a shelf. Each bed only had one very thin pillow so we had to request extra ones.
Very nice and helpful staff Large room Very quiet
The location near Railway Station
Staff worked very well.
Refrigerator was not work very well. Air conditioner was not work very well.
Broken door, broken lamps, wobbly chairs, broken safetydeposit and wallpapers coming off the wall. Not up to 4star standard
The staff were generally very good - I was on crutches, and the staff in the restaurant (at breakfast) were particularly helpful to me. It was a very good location for my work, and for access to the airport. The rooms were large and comfortable and very clean.
I just don't understand why 4* hotels do not provide the facility to make coffee in your room. The room service menu was limited, and the food very boring. Weirdest "Caprese" salad I think I've ever had. WiFi went off for ALL of Sunday, and there did not seem to be much recognition by the staff that this was a problem; when it did work it was very slow.
Comfortable room, modern bathroom, friendly staff.
Hotel is clean & comfort, staff is very helpful, a bit far away from the city centre but ok to take public bus (45 mins), the bus stop just next from the hotel & very convienent. Good for the traveller who travel in & out from Chamartin station which is 20 mins walk from the hotel to train station.
Considering the fact that I made booking just before arrival, I don't mind if they treated me annoyingly. Room was clean and large, enough to say 4 stars- hotel.
Wifi doesn't work.(but maybe because my booking was instant.)
Everything was excellent! Great service!
For a my one night stay I felt very comfortable in the room. The staff were very helpful at the front dest, the restaurant and the cleaning staff does terrific work.
The restaurant and the menu
Poor products in the bathroom
I needed to drop off a rental car and then catch a train at ChamartiStation. The hotel was perfectly situated to accomplish this. The hotel and staff made our stay very pleasant and in addition helped us store our luggage so that we could spend a very pleasant day in Madrid prior to departure.
I liked the hotel and the rooms, the location was a bit far from the city center, but was in a good area.
Its nice hotel with excellent quality/price combination. It is far, but direct bus to the centre just outdoor. We did not take breakfast, only coffee (Nespresso) with croissant, both was nice :)
It is far from city centre, but metro and public bus is close, bus takes you straight to the old town (about 40 minutes)
didn't have a outside area to chill out
Loved the view from the room and space even though we had a crib we did not need in the room the whole time. it was supposed to have been taken out and after 2 days we were told the hotel was full and they did not have any room to put it. This was a very poor excuse.
No place to hang towels in bathroom, soap not good (we bought our own soap), no tissue paper or body cream in bathroom. Wished we could get CNN.
Staff are friendly but totally overtaxed. cheap, regular bus service stop at the door, into the heart of madrid, but metro station nearby was closed.
We are not normally complainers....BUT......everything seemed to be portion controlled, down to one chair and one pillow.......no coffee/tea facilities in room......fridge warm......restaurant closes early. Asked for extra pillow, but we went to pick it up when it did not come. needs maintenance, curtain rod, bathroom door and damp patches.........wardrobe VERY smelly. we choose the hotel on the four star and 8.1 rating , but expected a bit more comfort from a confortel.
Inexpensive room in Madrid, replenishment of water bottles throughout the whole trip
(Cold) Airconditioning doesn't work in winter and hotel has no fan whatsoever even if weather turns hot. When I arrived in Madrid, it was really hot at 25 degrees Celsius and above. I checked in and thought the airconditioning doesn't work. They expect you to sleep with the blankets provided - no fan or heater will be provided if the weather changes. Thankfully the weather at night was fine such that I can sleep using 2 blankets. Walls are thin so you can hear outside noises.
The staff was very hospitable and helpful. The breakfast was good and varied. The Viennese Buns was particularly good. The room was clean and spacious.
Great price-performance, working wifi, nice view
Not very close to metro station, bad toilet flush
Great location. Facilities were good as well as the breakfast!
Provided a pair of slippers with great difficulty. Receptionists sometimes could barely say "Hello" or "Good bye".
The rooms need a renewal.
