Breakfast was great and good value for money. The evening meal was fine and the waiter was very attentive and helpful
There was a lot of noise from the air con and we could hear, not only the people in the room next door but overhead as well, so not a very peaceful night.
Wonderful location, exactly in front of La Mezquita Modern and comfortable room Very helpful staff
Not easy to reach the hotel by car
This hotel is pretty easy to access even it is situated on streets where you are only allowed to use, if you live in hotels and they have informed the police about your license plate. Our room had view to the Cathedral opposite the narrow street, and its only 100 meters away. It is also very close to sightseeing bus and small restaurants. They have their own parking facilities in the basement.
They should have asked us about license plate registration, so police could have been informed beforehandparking, so we did not have to park public first, and then get the car afterwards. Our hotel in Granada did so.
Parking price is expensive.
The best thing about this location, if you are not travelling with a car, is it's location. It is right in the centre, right across from the Mezquita.
The hotel rooms look nothing like the ones in the photos you see here. The reality is much different. It's no wonder they show mostly photos of the kitchen. As the hotel suggests, we had phoned the hotel ahead of arrival to see about the city restrictions for driving our car around the old centre. The receptionist had told us that because we were hotel guests that we were allowed to drive within the old city, as long as we had supplied them with our car registration number. However, this turned out to be totally false. There is a section along the river, alongside the old roman bridge, that is only reserved for Taxis. So, due to the hotels lack of information to their customers, we may be facing a €200 fine from the police. And when we approached the receptionist about this issue, she just nodded her head and didn't do anything to help us out on the issue. Instead we had to spend half our time in Cordoba running to the police station in the hope that they would forgive us for this mistake. Time will tell.... Then there was the issue with the room. It was an extremely small room, an already small room with our third bed squashed into it. It almost became a triple bed, they were that close. The beds were not that comfortable either. The windows did not close properly either, with the result that any noise woke us up constantly throughout the night, from people talking on the streets, to men cleaning the streets, to the loud tourists visiting the mezquita. And we were travelling with an elderly parent, so it was a disgrace that they had almost sent us to the furthest part of the hotel. It's like as if they just chuck their booking.com customers into the back end of the hotel. There is also no tea-making facilities in the hotel, which is annoying.
It is right next to the principal attraction of Cordoba
Difficult to find
Breakfast (cold eggs) and bitter coffe
Perfect central location lwithin easy walking distance of all the main sights. Secure underground parking at the hotel. Our room looked out at the Mosque which is situated on the other side of the narrow street. Helpful, pleasant staff. Good buffet breakfast selection. Only having one and a half days in Córdoba we used the open topped bus to get a feel for the layout. We then returned on foot to the locations we wished to visit in-depth.
Very happy overall with this hotel but avoided the coffee as it tasted unpleasant.
Breakfast food poor vareity.Little choice of Halal food for Muslim visitors. Also need better customer service in guidance and assistance in organizing touristic visits.
We had Dinner in the Restaurant and it was terrible. Neither the appetizer or any of the 3 courses had anything to recommend it. They should replace the Chef!
location - just in front of Mozquita comfortable beds warm clean
Everything was perfect - Ignore negative reviews
Location Room Breakfast Staff Parking
location and flexible staff
parking at the hotel very small
The location was excellent for sight-seeing, directly opposite the Cathedral, and in the centre of all historic locations. Very short walk into town, which boasts all major shops and great tapas bars. Car parking on-site a bonus. Left car and walked everywhere. Friendly staff and comfortable beds.
The car park was tight and I was concerned about scraping the car on the exit. But was ok .
the service was bad. On the 31st of December they charge an enormous premium for the room but from 15.00 hrs onward all the personnel went to party and the bar was closed. There was no food nor any drink available. the hotel was cold and windy at the reception area.breakfast was poor.
You cannot get any closer to the cathedral! Our window was about 7 meters from the cathedral walls
Can use a "facelift", Old carpets in the corridor etc
As my allocated room had a technical issue, they offer us to move to their 5 stars hotel Eurostars just 8 minutes walk for the same price. Great surprise.
The best localization as possible - directly at the Mezquieta. Defenetly we recommend flamenco show at Cardenal tableo - You will find info by the reception.
Hotel was very basic but really nice. Be carefull travelling with navigation - skip last 100m of Your route, instaed of this go left and take way around the Mezquieta. Underground parking of hotel was full - we have to leave the car on the other bank of the river.
it was ok
The location could not have been beter.
would like a kettle in room to make tea, this is because I am English and enjoy a morning cup.
Well situated and good value for money. Breakfast good.
Our heating was broken in our room and we were extremely cold at night. Room could have been cleaner floor a bit dusty.
Almost all facilities
Bedroom a bit "worn" for a 4 star hotel.
