Receptionists were very professional and helpful.
Swimming pool was closed already 13th of October 2014 but all marketing told that it will be in use. I selected the hotel based on swimming pool at the roof - I like to swim, even during winter time.
1) very small, uncomfortable room, so different than on photos, tiny window 2) noisy (sourroundings and floor) 3) not worth it's price! 4) one person on the reception while multiple check-outs and check-ins 5) water dropping from ceiling at night
Everything. Comfortable room and bed. Good facilities. Good WiFi. Some tv channels we could change to English so had films news and documentaries for leisure time. We booked half board. Breakfast was fab buffet. Dinner was 3 courses with wine. Staff excellent nothing too much trouble. Room was 2nd floor so got street noise late at night but just closed window and turned air con on no problem. Good value for money and great location.
Modern style Breakfast
windows do not close, i.e. very loud streat noise, superior room does not have an armchair or sofa
Friendly personnel at the reception.
Bad isolation of the rooms within the building. Can be very noisy at nigght.
Hotel was great for shopping and port, breakfast good, Bed was the most comfortable of all it was a proper king not two beds together, and beds made every day even if you slept in lol
They need more staff in breakfast time, and Please oh Please get a proper good coffe machine
Checking in and out was a breeze. They got us a reservation for the new years eve dinner party at the very last minute. Room had cigarrette smell and they immediately sent a humifier to get rid if the smell.
WiFi, location, public transport facilities.
Sound proof, breakfast organisation, staff professionality, room size. The staff was very noisy and agitated. If you want to relax or feel good, doing leisure, this hotel is the wrong one. The rooms are noisy and the walls thin. The first room we had was very small and the walls dirty. One can hear the neighbours pissing and even whispers are hearable. The promissed pool is small and of course closed during most of the year. Don't stay in this hotel longer than two days, it will drive you insane.
The views from the roof terrace
Queue for breakfast
Great room with balcony - no 711 with beautiful view. Tasty breakfast. free wifi.close to the center -7 minutes walk. Just next to the great park- perfect for jogging.
swimming pool was closed
Very good breakfast
WIFI absolutly no work The room was really small with teenager bed and no view (windows open on a wall) So very expensive for what we get...
Everything was clean and the staff was efficient and friendly
Tiny rooms, no bath tub, nightmare car park.
closed pool,no fitness facilities
Perfect. Moreover, Kimberley, the receptionist, is really cute!
I arrived in th early hours of the morning with a fully loaded car, staff very helpful, found me a little parking spot in enclosed area... The room was smallish, being a single, but extremely comfy bed with mattress topper!!! The hotel is situated in one of the best areas of Santa Cruz...Wish i could have stayed longer...
My room was right next to the lift, therefore a bit noisy in the morning...Single room adequate and comfy, but on the small side...
Staff friendly, food in a restaurant Amazing, location ok (next time I'll go las Americas though)
Too small room, log to Internet every time
The bed was very comfortable and the rooms are quite nice, good size. I informed the hotel in advance that we will be celebrating our wedding anniversary and we received a complimentary bottle of cava to our room! Very nice and unexpected surprise!
The only negative point is that there are only Spanish TV channels, which I think is not very "tourist friendly".
No a/c as advertised and therefore had little sleep. Very humid plus bed had plastic mattress cover. I had to sleep with bedroom door open as window was sealed in room 604. Receptionist claimed a/c was working but this was simply not true.
Very clean and good hotel at very reasonable price at a good location in Santa Cruz. The staff was really helpful and friendly.
The only problem was that the room was a bit too warm for us to sleep in so we had to open the window which was directly at a rather busy street with quite some noise, so I had to sleep with earplugs and even then I woke up a couple of times.
Ac stopped working for 2 days
Bedroom, Bathroom. Cocktail Bar and disinterested staff. Fading 1980's Decor - Black (or darlk brown & chrome just do not do it. Shower cubicle with no proper shower door/curtain makes for a wet floor. Noisy at night
Everything was really good!
My wife did not think her main course in the restaurant was any good and she told the waiter who immediately changed the dish. Full marks to two restaurant staff who were excellent. Room was very clean, plenty of pillows in the bedroom and shampoo things in the bathroom. Cleaners very good
Probably not enough choice on the menu in Alfredos. When charging items to the room we were never given a copy to check against the final bill. This can work both ways as items can be missed off the final bill and the opposite.
The reception staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. They gave us the wifi codes and a map straightaway. The swimming pool was a real bonus in 28 degrees heat after a busy day in the city although it closed at 6.00pm. There is a fabulous restaurant just next door called la cocina urbana - don't miss the Caesar salad and the fajitas - very nice food! Also there is a good supermarket in the street to the left of the entrance.
We stayed for 3 nights and on the 2nd night there was a football match. Our next door neighbours shouted and sang all night long and well into the next morning. This could of course happen anywhere! Also there was no kettle which of course all Brits love for their cup of tea!
