Friendly staff and balcony has table and chairs.

To get out, you must buzz the desk and they unlock the doors. Great security, but a hassle.

Had a room on Las Ramblas and the street was very loud throughout the night. Nothing that can do about it, but be aware.

The corner of La Rambla and Plaja Catalunia is very good location. Minutes walking way to most of main attractions.

Hotel is actually just a few small rooms + reception area in an old building with ugly stairs. Food was always cold, poor quality and choice. Chairs on the balcony are high bar stools - dangerous and uncomfortable to sit there, nobody use balconies, just waste of money..

The location of the hotel is great, right on La Rambla, very close to the Placa de Catalunya. The hotel offers free wi-fi, and breakfast is included in the rate and is available all day, so theoretically you could eat all meals there if you wanted to. The selection is small, but enough for a basic breakfast or snack. There are different options for where to eat - on the terrace at the back, on a small balcony overlooking La Rambla, or inside. Overall, it seemed like good value for money.

The hotel is in a building which actually houses three separate hotels, and the signage at the front when arriving by taxi was difficult to see. The hotel offered all the necessary facilities and was quite comfortable, but the decor is quite old fashioned, and tired; in some respects it felt more like a hostel until I got into my room which was small but had everything I needed and perfectly comfortable.

The position is ideal, particularly if you want to experience the Barcelonian locals, who can be enjoyed whilst sitting out on the balcony.

Because I was staying only one night and a solo traveller, I was given a room which left a lot to be desired. There was no window, just some gap which had been covered over and looked unsightly. No wardrobe and the bed took up the whole room, which shows how small it was.

The location of the hotel couldn't be better. Furthermore, you can take free refreshments, including beers and ice cream any time.

Sitting on balcony over viewing La Rambla street with a pint of free beer from 24h buffet. Location is great.

Pillows are a bit hard to sleep on.

The location of this place is the best part. It is just at the top of La Rambles so it was perfect of us staying one night heading to a cruise the next morning. The complementary drinks were very welcome. Before we left I had a couple of questions and they were very quick a getting back to me and helpful.

I my opinion this place is a hostel as apposed to a hotel. The food that complementary food was a health hazard, the flies were flying around uncovered food that is left out 24/7. The air conditioning was useless and then went off during the night which was awful as it was a hot evening. The room as a little small for the four of us but as it was only for one night it was fine. I would have liked some better quality pillows for the very hard beds. All in all it did the job for us but I could not have stayed more than one night.

Great location right on La Rambla. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge area had a small balcony overlooking La Rambla. Out door area to eat in.

People smoking on small balcony left doors open and it blew back into the dining/lounge area. Either close the doors or make this small balcony a non smoking area.

The location was excellent and great air-conditioning!

We did not eat the food, it did not look good, but to have free beverages was nice, the room small.

If you are lazy to go out after some nights hustle and hung over, you can just stay at the hotel and enjoy 24H buffet. You can have beer, wine coffee ice cream (!) for free not excellent quality but fair. Also some hot snacks are available. If you buy some of your favorite food in San Josep market or Carrefour 3 min, walk from the hotel, you can enjoy very relaxed evening.

The room decoration is very kitsch we enjoyed the taste but some friends might not. The front desk is very busy, you can't expect smooth check-in, out.
