Location was great. Free Buffet was kinda iffy but the beverages were excellent including beer, soda and coffee. Staff was friendly and spoke English well.
The location of this hotel was exceptional. Very close to all attractions of Barcelona. For central Barcelona the rate was low so one cannot expect to much. The 24 hour help yourself included buffet, coffee and drinks, including beer, was, for a hotel, unusual.
The hotel is very outdated, with a "pink" theme with walls, ceilings and fittings covered in flowered wall paper. The whole place looks very run down and the carpets are beyond cleaning.
The location is near transit, fascinating sites and shopping. The 24 hour food bar makes breakfast convenient and snacks anytime a real asset. The staff was terrific!
LOTS OF STAIRS' LIFT HARD TO GET SO YOU HAVE TO WALK.
Friendly staff and balcony has table and chairs.
To get out, you must buzz the desk and they unlock the doors. Great security, but a hassle.
The location just beside the Placa Catalunya
The elevator doesńt work
24 hr food and beverage service and convenient location.
Flooring very shabby. Too much pink.
Location People 24-Hour Food/Drink Clean
Had a room on Las Ramblas and the street was very loud throughout the night. Nothing that can do about it, but be aware.
We didn't stay we took one look at the room which smelt and the air con didn't work the toilet didn't flush and the room was so small you touched the bed and the wall walking sideways and I'm not a big person.
Location and free food 24hr
Staff hardly speak English , the elevator is quite old and slow , doors need to be opened by staff via buzz or phone call.
The furniture need to change
Balkony. Small buffé hold day and night
Beds are very bad.
friendly staff free 24 hour buffet with wine and beer included superior room with balcony overlooking la ramblas
nothing, everything was great
Excellent location right in the city center. Best 24 hours buffet.
Fantastic location Excellent staff Great having a 24/7 buffet Loved the floral pink wallpaper!!
The corner of La Rambla and Plaja Catalunia is very good location. Minutes walking way to most of main attractions.
Hotel is actually just a few small rooms + reception area in an old building with ugly stairs. Food was always cold, poor quality and choice. Chairs on the balcony are high bar stools - dangerous and uncomfortable to sit there, nobody use balconies, just waste of money..
Location. All day breakfast.
Twin bedded rooms hard to come by.
Open buffte 24
small rooms. strict security
The location of the hotel is great, right on La Rambla, very close to the Placa de Catalunya. The hotel offers free wi-fi, and breakfast is included in the rate and is available all day, so theoretically you could eat all meals there if you wanted to. The selection is small, but enough for a basic breakfast or snack. There are different options for where to eat - on the terrace at the back, on a small balcony overlooking La Rambla, or inside. Overall, it seemed like good value for money.
The hotel is in a building which actually houses three separate hotels, and the signage at the front when arriving by taxi was difficult to see. The hotel offered all the necessary facilities and was quite comfortable, but the decor is quite old fashioned, and tired; in some respects it felt more like a hostel until I got into my room which was small but had everything I needed and perfectly comfortable.
The position is ideal, particularly if you want to experience the Barcelonian locals, who can be enjoyed whilst sitting out on the balcony.
Because I was staying only one night and a solo traveller, I was given a room which left a lot to be desired. There was no window, just some gap which had been covered over and looked unsightly. No wardrobe and the bed took up the whole room, which shows how small it was.
The location of the hotel couldn't be better. Furthermore, you can take free refreshments, including beers and ice cream any time.
Sitting on balcony over viewing La Rambla street with a pint of free beer from 24h buffet. Location is great.
Pillows are a bit hard to sleep on.
The location of this place is the best part. It is just at the top of La Rambles so it was perfect of us staying one night heading to a cruise the next morning. The complementary drinks were very welcome. Before we left I had a couple of questions and they were very quick a getting back to me and helpful.
I my opinion this place is a hostel as apposed to a hotel. The food that complementary food was a health hazard, the flies were flying around uncovered food that is left out 24/7. The air conditioning was useless and then went off during the night which was awful as it was a hot evening. The room as a little small for the four of us but as it was only for one night it was fine. I would have liked some better quality pillows for the very hard beds. All in all it did the job for us but I could not have stayed more than one night.
Great location right on La Rambla. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lounge area had a small balcony overlooking La Rambla. Out door area to eat in.
People smoking on small balcony left doors open and it blew back into the dining/lounge area. Either close the doors or make this small balcony a non smoking area.
