easy access by public transport got there by airport bus and walking , great staff and easy to get to resturants and metro and sites from hotel , Wonderful helpful staff service fantastic and breakfast a great bonus included

Location is superb, the room is cosy, unfortunately no free Internet

The staff were not welcoming

The room was cleaned every day. The breakfast is very good and has many meals. The hotel accepts the credit cards.

The hotel lies quite far from the center. When you stay here keep in mind that you must use the public transport to get to the great museums. The staff oblidged me to pay for the staying on the first day, however I would preffer on the last morning, during check-out.

Hotel location

Car parking - the hotel parking is not suitable for cars bigger than 4,5m. The hotel staff suggested a car park that was 50% more expensive than other car parks in the area.

the room was huge, large bedroom and shower room, lots of wardbrobe space. door staff were very friendly. close to the arena that we were visiting. on a good street with lots of place to eat, and close to a metro stop. computers available for internet.

the beds were very hard. no kettle/tea or coffee in the room.

Very good hotel near all the attractions of Madrid,excellent transport communication (metro and bus just in front of the hotel) which allows you to visit many places and sleep in a quit and safe neighbourhood.

Good value for money hotel. Room was clean and quiet. Check in/out was rapidly and efficiently done. Very close to a metro station (O'Donnell), which was very convenient. Perfect for a one/two days business trip.

No free internet connection. I found this disappointing.

Location easy to find. Car parking, under hotel-but not part of the hotel. Good transport links to city, but if you walk it will take about 15/20 mins.

Cost of parking 25E per day expensive never the less necessary.

Hotel Convencion offers excellent value for money in a fairly central location (Prado 20 min walk, Plaza Mayor 40 min on foot, good public transport).

The hotel is the bottom end of the 4-star spectrum. I think there is some rennovation going on, so that might address some of the slightly 'faded-around-the-edge' feel.

Breakfast was excellent, good choice and quality. Allowed to check in early. Comfortable bar area.

The bed was probably one of the most uncomfortable I've ever slept in. Decor in the room was in need of refurbishment.
