the main restaurant produces excellent food particularly on the terrace. the wine list is good and reasonably priced.

overall the room was disappointing particularly the bathroom which was sparse.the hotel is a bit tired but could be much improved with not aloy of effort.The terrace furniture is tired and dated and the Refectori restaurant downright depressing however the quality produced by the kitchen is the outstanding feature of the hotel

Relaxing stay. Staff friendly but low-key. Pleasant terrace for meals. Footpath down from hotel to Sa Riera beach.

There is only one small lounge/bar which is not quite adequate for guests if the weather is bad outside.

The wonderful location. The excellent and caring staff, they could not do enough for us. They booked restaurants, taxis and answered every enquiry with a smile and were a great help. Very friendly relaxing hotel.

Amazing building, truly beautiful. The staff were excellent - so friendly and helpful. Location also great, just 700m from the beach with the added benefit of an amazing sun-filled grassed area with pool protected from wind by the hills.

The treadmill was broken and having a gym so I could I run (away from the hills and heat) was a key reason we picked the hotel. Also there were staples in the rug in the bedroom that we kept treading on - they really hurt! The bed head also came loose over the nights and would wake us up whenever we moved by the last (third) night.

We loved this hotel and hope to return. The staff were wonderful, fast to react to our needs, ensuring everything was to our liking. The food was fantastic which made it difficult to opt for an evening trip into Begur. The only frustration was that many of the rooms have restricted view either because they look out onto a wall or even with an upgrade to a superior rom the windows are somewhat overgrown with folliage. The hotel itself was stunning, which made up for the darker rooms. Each room is unique and many have original features. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Excellent receptionists and room cleaners polite and efficient.

The room was a cell in the monastic style, meaning one small window with no view. Poorly designed and executed bathroom with an ageing shower cubicle with unnecessarily fancy body jets. Breakfast taken outside :) but with other guests permitted to smoke at their tables. Bit of an "attitude" about the restaurant menu. Tiny outside swimming pool. 700 metres walk to the beach that we judged to be too dangerous given the traffic, although others, including those with babies in push chairs did manage.

Setting was fabulous and very convenient for beaches and touring the area. Lovely to sit on the terrace at breakfast amongst the shade of trees.

Considering the 220 euros a night per couple(standard room) for b & b although it was an enjoyable stay in hind sight we would not consider it to be value for money.

Lovely location in the cooler hills with a swimming pool, but close enough to reach beach on foot in 5 minutes, and close to Begur for some shopping and village visiting. Superb terrasse where breakfast and dinner is served. High standard on all levels, and nice common areas.

A bit impersonal staff and rooms are very small. Feels a bit like a chain hotel although it is not at all.

The location, and the historic nature of the building. Ability to walk to the beach, and being so close to the town of Begur for eating out. Also just a very short drive to many lovely beaches. The room (number 16) was adequate in size and had lovely views. The hotel was small and low key, just right for relaxing. The gardens were well kept and attractive for sitting in.

Nothing specific to dislike. However there was room for a few small improvements which would make it even better i.e. someone to serve tea/coffee at breakfast, bath robes in room.

This Hotel has a tranquility. Bliss!... No pipe music, only bird song! It's simplicity is charming. We found the beds very comfortable. Towels and linen clean and fresh. The Staff were friendly and helpful. A very relaxing place to stay, especially with the (asked for) garden views. Breakfasts are delightful on the terrace, weather permitting. This is my second visit and was not disappointed.

Not really a complaint ,but it's not perhaps suitable for anyone who has mobility problems. Dinning area inside lacks a bit of atmosphere, (for me) especially on cold days when used for breakfast...so much better with candles in the evening.

Nuestra estancia en el Hotel Convent fue maravillosa y muy recomendable por el excelente trato del personal que tuvo un detalle con mi pareja que cumplía años. Además, su comida es de primer nivel. Gracias a Raquel y todo el equipo del Convent por hacer nuestra estancia mágica

La chicas de la recepción simpáticas y super-educadas. Desayuno muy correcto. Camas cómodas.

Por decir algo las cabinas de las duchas son mejorables.

El entorno es precioso. Rodeado de naturaleza y muy cerca de una cala. Las habitaciones inmejorables.

Quizá las zonas comunes del hotel son limitadas.

Salimos por la noche, y al llegar, tubimos que esperar varios minutos (unas 5 llamadas largas al timbre, incluso una llamada telefonica) para que nos abriesen la puerta.

Me ha gustado todo,La atencion del personal,en especial la Srta Raquel que nos atendio exquisitamente.Nos ofrecieron una copa de cava de bienvenida y nos la adelantaron a la hora que nos fue bien . No nos falto explicaciones de nada.Nos enseño el hotel ,las habitaciones La capilla.Las habitaciones en el segundo piso excelentes,.Camas comodas,television,lavabo con bañera,secador.Agua gratis , nevera.calefaccion.La ventana daba a bosque.que casi se podia tocar.pero al ser Marzo no hacia mucha falta salir al exterior Muy tranquilo.Desayuno muy bien cafes.Nexpreso,Bufet con embutidos ,pastas ,cereales ,tostadas etc.Nos ofrecieron las instalaciones de spa todo el dia ,nosotros fuimos a las 12 de la noche a hacer una sauna y sillon de masaje .y por la mañana del dia siguiente,habia duchas ,toallas aceites para masajes etc

El comedor se quedo un poco justo a la hora del desayuno pues estaba lleno el hotel y coincidimos todos casi a la misma hora ya que hacia un dia fresco y casi no salio nadie al jardin (aunque se podia desayunar en el jardin ) Por la noche en la sauna coincidio que bajaron otra pareja y como es logico se quedo un poco justa,eramos 6 personas.

El comedor me ha parecido pequeño.Se ha echado en falta un salón social .
