Hotel Corona de Granada    

It is 10 min walking distance to the center.Reception is very helpfull.WIFI is available in the room.If you dont look for luxury, I exteremly recommend this hotel.(not to pay extra parking fee, please drive around the hotel and look for parking lot.I am sure you will find a space.In Spain,there are three kinds of line for parking.1.Yellow: You can not park but you can stop for a while.2.Blue:You can park with fee.3.White:You can park without fee. And also you can park within blue line without fee from 2 pm on saturday till 9 am monday)

Hotel is very close the "autovia" and easy to find. Hotel is very close the city center. You can walk to "gran via" almost 15 min. and get on the alhambra bus with the price of 1,20 euro for one person. Hotel has private car parking and vale. Breakfast is perfect. Wifi good.

Chose hotel as we have a young son and the hotel stated it had a restaurant. The restaurant was closed so we had to drag our son out in the pouring rain at a time he would normally be in bed for to find some where to eat. That was very inconvienient. Also no mini bar as advertís sed.

Very well located in Granada, this hotel is ideal if you are driving into Granada. It is just placed outside the city centre, yet it is barely 5 minutes by walk to the centre. There is parking available in the hotel and the valet parking service is very useful. Being a 4 star hotel, we really liked the hospitality and service that was offerred. There is a Squash court, gym, pool etc., all of which are very good, but being in Granada, you will not use any of this as you will be busy in the city. The buses to Alhambra are easily accessible from the city centre. which is 5 minutes away. We drove ot Sierra Nevada National park from the hotel and that is about 45 minutes by car and is simply fantastic. The fact that the hotel is relatively easily accessible to the highway is very helpful.

Only negative thing was that many rooms have a view of the adjacent building which is not great, but if you are in Granada, you just need a room to sleep. There is so much more to do outside!!

It was very high tech. Automatic lights when you enter hallways. The stairs didn't have any lights or automatic lights for that matter so that was a negative bit. Other than that, it was great.

Easy access from ring road when travelling by car. Easy walking to city centre. Excellent attentive friendly staff throughout the hotel. Our room was available to us despite arriving earlier than check in time & was very well presented. Underground car parking @ the hotel

Very clean.

The walls are very thin so from our room we could hear our neighbours having a shower very early every morning, which was quite annoying. Furthermore, the bed was not very comfortable.

Staff weren't very attentive. We got charged for our 'free' drinks and they charged us 50 euro to do like 5 pieces of laundry

Parking charges. Very expensive. I'd understand if the car park was full and you had to raise the charges to limit the cars in there, but when I picked my car up there was only two other cars. 15 euros seems excessive to me and many of my other friends.

We were in Granada for a family wedding and the staff were very helpful and friendly and reception staff spoke English well. The hotel was quite stylish and very clean. The pool area was pleasant, the pool is quite small but was great for relaxation. We did not use the dining facilities but the prices looked reasonable and the menu on display looked good. There was a great tapas bar and restaurant a few metres away 'la Cueva' which does breakfast and complimentary tapas: was popular with the Spanish. The location is quiet but close to the centre and within easy walking distance to shops and the historical area. Granada is a fantastic city and one of the best for culture in Spain and I would definitely consider staying at this hotel again. I asked for a late checkout for one of the rooms at short notice and this was arranged and very reasonably priced.

The bathroom was small and although the shower was powerful, which was great, because of the position of the shower it was difficult not to drench the floor each time it was used! This was my only complaint.

It was very central and easy to find. The hotel car-park was a bonus and well worth the cost. We also enjoyed the pool area. Our room was spotless, cool and comfy. Overall a very positive experience.

No negative points.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was not bad, but you can hear the noises from neighboring rooms. The pool water seemed was not very clean and translucent and the area around the pool is not very pleasant, even there was a time when, with the wind some parts are left almost caught the people.

Walked all round Granada from hotel. Excellent location. Taxi cost €7 to alhambra. (The bus would have cost us €5 for 4 of us) Very helpful staff. Got Free drink voucher and bottled water in the room. Beds comfy. Had good nights sleep.

Everything was excellent!

it was a good base to explore Granada as only about a 10 minute wall into the centre. The room was large and adequate for our 4 family members. Its not a modern hotel a bit dated in decor but good value for money and the staff were extremely helpful.

Hotel was well equipped with facilities such a restaurant, bar and pool. We had an issue with warm water within the room and have informed the hotel staff, which acted immediatly and after diagnosing the problem, transferred us to a larger room. Both rooms were clean, spacy and well furnished, as well as air conditiones. They surprised us with a welcome gift of bottle of water and a bowl of candies, as well as with the complimentary water within a mini bar.

Breakfast was unsatisfactory, with low food quality. Morning cleaning of our room turned to be a bit disconforting, since the lady cleaning it removed the soaps we were using and failed to replace them with new toiletries, which was a bit odd and unexpected.
