This hotel actually worked out cheaper for me and my friend than a hostel would have been. Except with this hotel we had our own private room, twin beds, En-Suite bathroom, TV, Free Wifi, hair dryer, a safe and a decent amount of space. We payed only 18 Euros each a night for all of this. I think this hotel is in a good location, really close to the La Rambles and the staff were really friendly too! This hotel is perfect if you want to see alot of Barcelona in a small budget. We were very happy with this hotel and we had a brilliant time! :)

The shower leaked a bit and there was a little bit of damp on the ceiling but to us that didn't matter because we were out most of the time experiencing life in Barcelona! Plus, everything was clean and comfortable.

That they had already taken the first nights payment by card before we arrived. Card registration was, I thought, for any no shows. I would have preferred to pay in cash for all nights.

Staff, Breakfast, free wifi, were good. Small hotel but ok for what we needed.

Friendly staff, good location: walking distance to the Ramblas and the old city, yet quiet enough to sleep at night. Possibility of safe hotel parking (12 euro per day)

Towels, they are to used

Location was fab. Found good bars nearby and walked everywhere from the hotel. Felt very safe. If we had wanted to use it, metro nearby.

Very noisy at night. Late night revellers outside hotel and in. Showers and water system woke us up at all hours. Breakfast was very basic . I couldn't eat anything as gluten -free, but what was on offer was not good. Better to provide quality and charge more. Coffee awful!

I like the location bec. It's close to sala apolo where I'm about celebrate valentine for that night & it's close to metro 3 (green) which would take me to work by 7 in the morning. The price is right! Nice hotel, friendly staff, big huge room... with 3 beds? LOL, tv, clean private bathroom with lots of towels with shampoos & soaps (I hope it comes w/ toothbrush & toothpaste too!). When I arrived around 7pm I can hear even the whisper of the people on the next room besides me but goodthing when I'm about to sleep by 3am you can't hardly hear anything it's too quiet! They got free strong connections of wifi, bar, vendo machine & outside the hotel some bars & shops. There's an oldstyled noisy elevator that I think is good for 2. I stayed in the 2nd floor & it has a window. It's quite cold maybe bec. I didn't bother to turn-on the heater. I'll definitely recommend & go back to this good & simple hotel again!

The beds & pillows.. too thin! I think it's only good to sleep but not to make love! LOL the furniture (is there any?) Are the types of side tables & chair that you can see thrown beside the thrash containers.. anyway, who needs a modern furnitures when what matters is the safe, comfortable & budget-friendly place to stay, relax & sleep well.

Location, location, location! Coronado is in direct city center, smth like 300m from Paral-lel metro station, <10 minutes walking from Ramblas, <15 minutes from beach. Great base for a tourist. Staff is very nice and speak English. Rooms are clean, towels changed every day, WiFi is fast and reliable (every floor has it's own network).

Thin walls and water not draining fast enough in our bath, but it's totally acceptable and not that annoying when you're paying that money for this kind of location!

The hotel is near to the metro station, to the beach and famous street La Rambla. Not to bad place to stay.

location, location, location...staff was very helpfull and friendly (which is very important when you travel with 1 year old...no problem with getting a hot water or keeping things in the fridge). Very neat and clean housekeeping...highly recommended.

the staff member who checked us in was great. He was very helpful, told us where to park our car securely and spoke English. The distance from La Rambla was about 15 min walk, which by the 4th day was a bit annoying, but was ok.

Hot, hot, hot, we had no window and we could not turn the heat down. The lady at the front desk told us that we could try and open a window to cool it down otherwise there is nothing they can do... What she neglected to remember was that our room had no window! It was winter and we woke up every night in a pool of sweat, it was discusting. I did not try it but I think the tile floor would have been softer than our bed, it was like a rock. I'm sure, to save money on construction, the hotel decided to construct the walls out of paper, it was that loud at night. We were on the second floor and we were woken up by the sound of people eating breakfast on the ground level, it was so noisy. Out of all the hotels we have stayed in around the world so far, this was horrible. If you can, pay a little extra and stay somewhere that is designed for actual humans.

i really love this hotel! it has a nice bathroom, TV, hair drier, many towels, clean, the bed is comfortable, the heater works very well!!!

Location is great (only 300 meters from Para-lel metro station). Hotel staff is friendly. Good and cheap breakfast only for 5 Euro.

First night I slept in the room number with terrible smell inside. The single tiny window there leads to internal shaft with no fresh air. Fortunately there were more free rooms and I got good one.

Location of the hotel is fantastic. Shops in the vicinity, also Rambla.

This hotel is placed in 5 minutes walking distance from the Metro Station Paralel (L3 line - green). We stayed in the triple room - it was clean and big enough. There is possibility to leave your baggage after check-out for free. Wi-Fi is available in all hotel rooms also for free.

There is nothing to do around the hotel, even there is no good restaurants. But it's not a big minus taking in account price and nearby Metro Station.

We did not like the stay at the hotel, we had altered the dates we were staying there with yourselves, and when we got there the booking had not been altered so we had to find accommidation else were for the return journey, and pay for the second day of the booking dates which we thought we had already paid for with you, The breakfast was poor and the choice was ham cheese cerial toast coffee, there was know one to talk to if we wanted any think else as the girl couldnot understand us and we knew very little spanish.there was know room in thebreakfast room as it was an extention to the reception and we noticed on the second day if we were not down early there was not much left, we would have coffee and then eat out some were else.
