as usual for apartments, the rating is somewhat 'flattered' as apartment-visitors are not aware of the luxury-level of hotels. This explains the high rating. Nevertheless, Corral is very nicely located in the heart of Arenal, is very quiet, and very clean. the shower in apartment "nana" is 60x60 cm, meaning too small for average size men to wash yourself. The TV cannot be viewed from the bed.

An apartment for the price of an average hotel was a plus. It even has a washer and dryer. Location is central and close to cathedral. Staff I met in person was nice and helpful with a city map given to us. We didn't have a phone and because they don't have a 24hr reception area or staff, it was a bit troublesome to contact them about our arrival. Even as I have arrived at time agreed, still have to call again so the staff would come down to let us in.

Fantastic location - 2 min walk from the Cathedral. The apartment was ok, quiet, big enough and clean, but not something special, actually it could be renovated. Excellent restaurant just across the entrance, we found it by pure chance, full of locals, and cheap. Difficult to find, also difficult for parking (and expensive!), 200-300 meters away. We got the apartment in the buliding next door, so not in the main court - not sure if in the new part / main court would have been better...

We stayed in a studio and it was just sufficient for two of us with a well equipped kitchen, washing machine and a small sitting area with free wifi. Location is great and most sights are withing walking distance. There is no reception and there is no staff! If you don't intimate them in advance of your arrival, you would be locked out as there is no one to receive you. Since there is no staff on duty, you cannot get help with directions, local tours etc, you need to rely on finding a good guide, tourism office or Internet to plan your days in Seville.

Location, location, location 1.Noise - apartment no 1 is located near to the gate which is slammed all day and all night. Noisy single sex group of 14 persons were staying at the same time. 2.Apartment tired and poorly equipped. 3.Fridge exceedingly noisy - had to turn it off at night! 4. The double bed was small, uncomfortable and creaked every time one or other of us turned over. 4 The apartment is very difficult to locate. Our GPS gave up! 5.Car parking is a nightmare and expensive. 6. The management's concern was centred around themselves and not us as the client

The location is absolutely superb, being very close to the cathedral, but in a quiet side street. The apartment was extremely large and the kitchen was furnished with a microwave, oven, toaster, fridge and washing machine. It would be great for a long stay. The reception was not located near the apartment and so I had to make an appointment to get my keys, which was a bit annoying, although the receptionist was punctual. I felt that there was a real need for an "information pack" as, for instance, I had no idea where to buy groceries. It would have been a nice touch if some information could have been provided about semana santa, such as where to watch the processions.

Very clean, modern, and comfortable accommodations around the corner from all major sites and the best restaurants in Sevilla. The building is on a very quiet side-street, which is a plus, and the courtyward was beautiful and serene. Would definitely stay here again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Location, staff Have stayed several times before and with this stay I must say it is in decline. I booked a 2 bedroom and 1 of the bedrooms was 2 roll away cots that were not acceptable, so small no space for bed tables or light. The bedroom was situated over the entry and it was not possible to sleep due to street noise. I moved onto the the sofa bed which was much worse but at least quiet. I feel I was duped as I have stayed in another 2 bedroom that was lovely. A less than comfortable stay for the first time. Also, we arrived early and wet, as it was raining, and could not check in at that time. We were promised a call when the apartment was ready and that did not happen. I know the city so we had coffee and a tour until we were so uncomfortable we checked the hotel to find the apartment ready and waiting. Oh well, I may stay again but quite possibly not as there are other great places in Sevilla.

Excellent location, very close to the cathedral, bars and restaurants. It is actually just around the corner (10m) from Coloniales Tapas restaurant: excellent food for very little money and very friendly staff. The apartment is nicely decorated and very roomy for 2 people. We had previously stayed in Siete Revueltas Singular Apartments and had certain expectations from Corral de San José... So it was a bit of a dissapointment to find out some of the facilities (the bathroom and heating system) at Corral de San José are somewhat outdated as compared to what we experienced at Siete Revueltas. There was never enough hot water for both of us to take a decent shower and the heating was terrible: hot air blowing from the ceiling right into your face, no matter where you sat in the apartment. The apartment also has very poor isolation, which made it neccessary to keep the heating on (we visited end February and the nights were quite cold and damp) and we could literally hear every sound from surrounding appartments: chairs pushed on the floor, people showering and flushing the toilet, washing dishes, chatting etc... We did not spend much time in the appartment, but the time we did, we would have liked to have some more confort. We will definitely return to Sevilla and go for Singular Apartments, but will book at Siete Revueltas again.

The staff is exceptional, pofessional, kind and helpful. The location for visiting Sevilla is hard to be beat. The price is a value for any trip. We have stayed here before and certainly will again. Time is coming for a simple renovation. Kitchens need some attention and furniture will follow if they are to stay a high rated destination. I believe they are a well run business and will keep up with needed improvements.

The apartments are very central, but in a gated development with a courtyard which meant that they were very quiet. The quality of the accomodation was very high - equivalent to a four star hotel. The rooms were modern with luxurious fittings

The location could hardly be more central to just about anything you'd want to do in Sevilla and it's just down the alley (Jumios) from a very good and inexpensive local restaurant, Coloniales. At the same time, it's very quiet. My apartment (#22) was upstairs and had a private terrace. The rooms were big, the bed was good, the water pressure was fine. In most of the important ways, this was a great place and a fine value. However, some smaller things weren't so wonderful and you may be as annoyed by them as I was, so read on. While there was a shallow closet in the bedroom, it was almost entirely taken up by a small safe and bedding for the pull out sofa. There was no bureau so I had to live out of my suitcase, which I put on the floor because the only alternative was the dining table or the sofa. I was alone and traveling light, but two people would have had a hard time with their belongings. The kitchen was sparsely equipped: the one real knife was too dull to cut a tomato; there were no paper towels nor was there a dish cloth; there was no coffee measure or measuring cup (a dumbfounding omission since there was a washer/dryer). Anyway, you get the idea. And if you split your stay, as I did (I was away for 2 nights), be prepared to have all of your supplies (paper towels, laundry soap, whatever else) removed by the cleaning staff. That's the policy and it's a bad one. There was nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries. (I brought in a small end table from the bedroom.) Maybe most serious, at least for me, the tub/shower was deep and slippery. There were no friction strips on the tub bottom and no grab rail. One morning the hot water disappeared as I was washing my hair and I came very close to a bad fall trying to get out from under the freezing stream. During my last couple of days (I stayed 5 nights), the place filled up with the aroma of sewer gas. I don't know if this was a simple plumbing problem or a chronic issue. On the morning I left, I talked to the manager, Alejandro, about all of this and I can't honestly tell you if it registered. I'm not sure he understood that I wasn't trying to beat down the price, which was more than reasonable. (I paid 67 Euros per night.) He was rather defensive about the hazards of the tub, essentially claiming that no one worries about this sort of thing in Spain. That's neither true nor much of a defense.

The apartments are situated in the central part of Seville, so very handy to shops and all major tourist attractions (E.G. Alcazar Palace, Cathedral, and restaurants). The apartment was clean and quite roomy, although the sofa bed was only good for a one or two night stay. The combined washing machine/dryer was confusing to operate and resulted in a load full of wet clothes that couldn't be dried!

The apartment had everything we needed and was central to all ameneties The sitting room/kitchenette had no window with natural light and therefore one has to always have the bright lights on. Could not leave door open as it was too cold.

It makes you feel like home that you have the keys to every door you have to pass. The office of the apartment is too far from it so that I had to find elsewhere to print my seat reservation proof.
