Cortijo Cañada Del Sacristán

This is a superb holiday location for the right people. It is a family run converted farmhouse c. 5km off the main road. The location is stunning and the whole setting totally charming. Antonio and Carmen, the owners/hosts are total hospitality. The breakfast is substantial and the cooked meals local and excellent. It is a great place for a retreat, for a walking holiday or for exploring the area by car. It is also small (4 rooms) and very personal. We never usually reply to these requests for comments but this place is so special we had to.

Nothing. Some might not like an early cock crowing! More seriously, because it is off the main road, some might not like the trek over the very small roads and a length of dirt track.

Antonio and Carmen are kind, friendly and warm. They do everything to give you a lovely stay. The home is beautiful and spotlessly clean. Guests will love this gem, take a deep breath and let your spirit rejuvenate. Guests will be delighted if they have dinners at the Cortijo as Antonio is an accomplished chef with a good selection of wines as well as their own organic olive oil that is superb.

The location, approached by a lengthy track through olive groves, is simply stunning. There are superb views - from the rooms, the terrace, the pool, the lounge, the restaurant; The cortijo has been lovingly restored by a young couple who are the perfect hosts. The cuisine - breakfast and dinner - is excellent.We had a truly delightful stay here - but two nights is far too short as there is lots to be seen in the vicinity if you can tear yourself away from the cortijo itself. A delight in every way.

There was nothing one could possibly dislike about this cortijo.

This is really a marvellous place to stay. We have enjoyed our stay very much. It is a little bit secluded, please follow the instructions you receive how to get there because our gps could not find the place. You are surrounded by thousands of olive trees and if you are as lucky as we were, you will have your dinner at the terrace outside, you will only hear the birds, see the trees and watch the sunset while enjoying a meal cooked by Antonio (and he does cook very very well). He and his wife Carmen take very good care of their guest, they are perfect hosts.

The location was breathtakingly beautiful and our hosts Carmen and Anthonio were very helpful and attentive We had breakfast and dinner each day .The food and presentation were first class. We hope to visit again with friends

Beautiful location and very nice and freindly owners. Great dinner at the evening which is prepared by the owner. Perfect for people who like nature, rest and relaxing. Great place to start tours to cities like Granada and the beach.

Excellent caring owners with a true desire to ensure a good & relaxing holiday.

Would recommend staying when the weather is more consistent - but the owners made up for the lack of heat with excellent central heating and a nightly wood fire!

We liked the warm welcome we received and food was superb. We ate both nights we were there. Our room was lovely and the views were also great. Good for relaxing and getting away from it all.

Water took a very long time to come through warm and we were advised about not wasting water which made this difficult to do.

My wife and I were guests of Carmen and Antonio for several days.Their cortijo has been carefully restored to a very high standard and provided a modern and comfortable setting for our hosts to provide a uniquely personal experience. This can best be described as staying with friends. We were made to feel entirely at home and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.Antonio cooked our meals personally and as he is an accomplished cook,we were never disappointed.We must have picked our hosts brains from everything from,olives to tapas , from where to go for a haircut to what to visit locally , from the costs of real estate to the quirks of Andalusia.We toured their olive groves and played with their dogs. We were very greedy with their time but this was offered unselfishly.I Found a superb 1973 Josef Krips performance of Mozarts Requiem in their bookcase which I played to distraction in the guest lounge. This music was a revolutionary game changer in its time and so was our stay here. We spent 8 weeks touring Andalusia and this stay was our trip highlight. Cortijo acojedor y personal muy amable. Destaca los detalles y el cuidado con el que nos brindan en cada uno de sus rincones. La cocina es natural y exquisita. Es ideal para quien busque relajarse y disfrutar del silencio.

Cet endroit est parfait pour la détente, reposant et calme. Carmen et Antonio sont des gens charmants et très attentionnés. La cuisine est remarquable autant le petit déjeuner varié et copieux que les repas pris le soir.

Dit B&B is zeker een aanrader! Lieve mensen die met de gasten meedenken. Alles is van kwaliteit en er wordt goed voor de gasten gezorgd. Ruime kamer met ruime badkamer. Het eten was ook heerlijk. Waar men wel rekening mee moet houden is de ligging. Het is rustig gelegen en het duurt zo een 25 min met de auto naar Anteguerra. Dus ga je voor de rust en ontspanning zit je hier op de juiste plek.

De ligging van de cortijo is grandioos. Het is een prachtig gerestaureerde boerderij die zeer smaakvol ingericht is. Mooie kamers met goede bedden en zeer schoon. De eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam en Antonio is een zeer goede kok. Dit is echt een plekje om naar terug te komen!

De locatie is moeilijk te vinden zeker omdat de routebeschrijving die door booking.com is aangegeven niet klopt. Je moet afslag 16 op de A92M nemen ipv afslag 11. Gelukkig kwamen wij onderweg een behulpzame Spanjaard tegen die de route voor ons heeft uitgetekend. De hoteleigenaren sturen overigens via de mail een juiste routebeschrijving maar helaas hadden wij dit bericht gemist.

Carmen en Antonio zijn zeer gastvrije lieve mensen. Antonio kan ook heerlijk koken want dat is zijn passie. De omgeving was zo supermooi, je keek uit over de olijfbomen en naar de bergen. Je hebt geen omgevingslicht dus de nachten zijn lekker donker met een prachtige sterrenhemel.

Accueil excellent de Carmen et Antonio qui nous ont donné immédiatement la sensation d'être leurs invités. Avons apprécié notre chambre avec sa terrasse privée nous offrant une vue merveilleuse sur la nature environnante. La cuisine gastronomique et créative d'Antonio nous a comblés. Il reste de notre séjour une sensation de bien-être et de sérénité dans ce cadre exceptionnel. Merci à Carmen et Antonio "d'exister". A recommander chaleureusement.

Vriendelijke ontvangst en de mooie, rustige ligging. Mooi en stijlvol ingericht met gerieflijke kamers. Daarnaast is het eten erg goed.

alles was perfect; de kamer, het uitzicht, het uitgebreide ontbijt op het terras, het heerlijke eten en de vriendelijke bediening van dit keihard werkende sympathieke echtpaar. Eigenlijk zou ik dit adresje aan niemand willen verklappen! Voor herhaling vatbaar!

eigenlijk niets! Wij waren er van 4 t/m 7 sept., dan is het om 21:00 uur al donker. Doordat het zo afgelegen ligt en de wegen er niet verlicht zijn kun je het beste zorgen dat je voor die tijd terug bent en dat je daar de avondmaaltijd gebruikt. Dat is overigens prima aan te bevelen. Antonio kan heerlijk koken en je hoeft heus niet een 3-gangen menu te nemen als je niet te zwaar wilt eten.

Une belle chambre dans une belle propriété... Un cadre très calme... Comme nous étions les seuls clients nous avons profité de la maison pour nous seuls.. Restaurant de qualité avec des produits locaux... Rien à reprocher.

A éviter si vous souhaitez de l'animation!!!

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral, um Ausflüge nach Granada, Cordoba, Sevilla oder Malaga zu machen. Nach diesem Trubel bietet es eine entspannende und wirklich ruhige Atmosphäre, da es abseits mitten in den Olivenhainen liegt. Auf der Terrasse kann man beim Frühstück oder Abendessen die Natur und Ruhe regelrecht einatmen. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind sehr sauber, die Dusche angenehm groß. Jeder Tag beginnt mit einem individuellen Frühstück. Der Orangensaft war jeden Morgen ganz frisch gepresst, der Kaffee im Automaten zubereitet. Echt super! Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man nimmt ihnen ab, dass sie es dem Gast von Herzen gut gehen lassen wollen. Das macht die Zeit in diesem Cortijo besonders wertvoll! Wenn Sie Ruhe, Entspannung und Gastfreundschaft mit Herz wollen, kann ich Ihnen das Hotel mehr als empfehlen!

Schwierig ist es, den Weg in diesen Olivenhain zu finden, da er sehr abseits liegt und es keine Straßennamen mehr gibt. Es sind eher Feldwege, die das letzte Stück zum Hotel führen. Es gibt kleine Beschilderungen mit dem Namen Cortijo Cañada Del Sacristán. An einer Stelle allerdings fehlt dieses Schild. Merkmal an dieser Stelle sind viele kleine Briefkästen und ein ganz kleines Schild mit der Aufschrift Bateria 3 Buzón 13. Ich kann nicht sagen, uns hätte das missfallen, aber es macht die Anreise ein wenig aufregend. Wer die Anreise sicherer planen möchte, sollte sich zuvor also sehr gut informieren!

Wat een droomplekje!! Landhuis ligt fantastisch tussen de heuvels, op ruim een half uur van het vliegveld van Malaga. Hier kom je echt helemaal tot rust. Geweldig om je rondreis door Andalusië hier af te sluiten (en dan is 2 nachten echt te kort). De eigenaren Antonio en Carmen ontvangen je met veel plezier. Zeer gastvrij. Heerlijk om 's avonds op het terrasje te genieten van de kookkunsten van Antonio met een wijntje. Door de uitstekende beoordelingen op booking.com, hebben we voor dit landhuis gekozen... niets teveel gezegd! Hier gaan we zelf zeker eens terug!

Wat vond ik goed? Alles! Buitengewoon vriendelijke ontvangst; heel mooie kamer in een prachtig kader en omgeving. Hele lekkere, inventieve keuken en een prima uitgebreid ontbijt. Het smaakt naar meer!
