It has good access to Girona Airport, 7.5 miles away. The historic center of the city is a short walk away The Costabella has a poolside sun terrace and a grounds. There is also a bar and a restaurant. At an extra cost, the hotel offers a gym and spa. It has a sauna and Jacuzzi. Massages and beauty treatments are also available. We have stayed at this Hotel on a number of occasions.Since our last visit , a refurbishment has been carried out.The standard of the bedrooms is now of five star quality.

20th Dec 2011 Easy to find hotel, excellent free parking, pleasant and helpful staff, Excellent meals at a good price, the self service breakfast being way beyond what one normally gets as "continental breakfast", included bacon, sausage, eggs and real jams plus all the usual items. We only stayed one night on a longer journey but intend to return to fully enjoy a longer stay, more of their evening meals and to explore the area. Couldn't fault them.

I liked the location right across the hospital. This was very convenient for my mother and myself, since my father was in the hospital for a long time. The staff was very accommodating with small little details and had genuine interest. Breakfast buffet was very good also. De hotel is a good 15 minute walk from the city center. It would have been great if they would have washers and dryers available for clients to use.

Location was excellent, a 10 minute walk into Girona so we didn't need to drive. Hotel has plenty of free parking. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Our comfortable room had both a safe and a fridge. Although it was on a busy road we could not hear the traffic at all. Breakfast buffet was excellent - a huge variety of foods. We have no negative comments - everything was excellent.

Very conveniently situated for town centre sightseeing. Good vlalue for money. Good buffet breakfast. The road from the motorway into Girona is long and there was insufficient information to locate the hotel easily. The dinner menu is very limited and the only meal available on Sundays is breakfast

On arrival having booked a twin room I was given a tiny single room. I was looking forward to using the jacuzzi but it was cold. I was very disappointed to find that there were no bicycles to rent as promised on the website. There was no toilet paper in my room . One night I arrived back at 9.30pm and my room had not been touched, bed unmade etc. The receptionist was very apologetic but I was tired from a long days work and didn't really like having to wait for it to be cleaned. Maybe it is a better hotel in the summer season...

Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast gargantuan. The accoustic insulation leaves much to be desired: we heard doors and lift clearly through the walls. It is a 20 mn walk on busy streets to the town center.

A very comfortable friendly hotel with free parking and a short drive or 15-20 walk to the centre of Girona. Breakfast was very good. There is also a small but nice outdoor pool, free tea and coffee during the day. There is a small gym and sauna. Would certainly recommend Wi-fi was down for the duration of our stay but I guess these things happen sometimes

Very confortable hotel with friendly staff. They welcome dogs! About a 15 - 20 minute walk to the centre of the old city. Free wi fi throughout the hotel is a plus. Breakfast buffet offered numerous tasty choices.
