We were happy with our stay. The hotel is next to Montjiuc and within walking distance from Barri Gotic, staff was very friendly and helpful. Room has been cleaned well and every day. Hair dryer in the bathroom was a great advantage. Our room looked at a wall and there was strange smell in the bathroom, smelled like toilet sometimes... To have Internet access you better take an Ethernet cable with you, because they sell a short one (~50cm) for 4 euro.

Great place to stay. I must say that it exceeded our expectations. The room was larger than I would have thought. The front desk staff was superb and they were a wealth of information. I would like to thank especially Javier, who fixed us up with tickets to FCBarcelona game. His suggestions for a dinner places(off the beaten track) were also spot on! Will definitively visit here next time in Barcelona!

Quiet small street location away (30 min walk) from the tourist masses at the Ramblas and Barri Gotic. The hotel is very close to Poble Sec metro station with several tapas bars (including some very trendy ones), restaurants as well as some shops in the immediate vicinity. Hotel is a likeable 3 star option, would stay again. Staff was helpful. Rooms were a bit on the small side. Small tv.

Excellent position 5 min by subway from Las Ramblas and 15 min walking very close to Plaza D'Espan, friendly and always available staff. The breakfast was excellent and well worth the extra cash. The rooms are very small, but it wasn't a problem as we spent most of the time out. Also you have absolutely no view the windows are towards an internal light shaft.

Good location close to a metro station and friendy staff. There is free wired internet that comes 'without a wire' - you have to buy a cable costing Euro 4 from the hotel in order to connect. There is, however, WiFi option in the lobby area as also two computers there with internet connection for guests' free use.

The hotel is perfect located in order to reach all major attractions, either by metro or even by foot, very central but in a quite area. We stayed in a room at 6th floor with a view towards the street, preferably to a view in the inner yard (very dark). The best thing we highly appreciated in every evening after a full day of walking and in every morning to wake up was the high-pressure shower – one of the best! The room overall was comfortable, spacious enough for 2 persons and quite luminous. The cleanliness of the room was reasonable (there were some parts on the desk with some dust in the first day and the wall paper stained by previous tourists). What we did not like was the smell of urine in some parts of Barcelona, including some of the streets around the hotel. Because the street view, it’s not possible to sleep with window open because of the noise of the cars that collected the garbage in the morning (we used the AC as much as possible, but not during the entire night). Also, there was a bad odor when we returned in the room and especially in the first day. The bad is very hard and the pillows are very narrow but you can always use the extra ones available in the wardrobe. We did not appreciated at all the fact that we were given only one small soap daily and in the last 2 days not even this (we had to use shower gel instead). Also, some other small inconvenients: you may use the free internet in your room but you must have a cable (they don’t have wireless), otherwise you must pay 4e for it; the magnetic cards for the doors did not work too smoothly (at least for us and our neighbors).

The hotel is adequate and is placed in an excellent location - approximately 2 minutes from Metro station from where you can launch yourself whereever you want to be in Barcelona. Furthermore it is very clean and warm. Nothing special, only the fact that although there are plenty of nice bars/ restaurants in the nearby area, no one informed us about that and they kept recommending visiting tourist areas for nightlife.

It is not so far from the city center; very clean place. I booked it on a Thursday with few hours before arriving there and the price was quite expansive for a 3 stars hotel.

Very friendly helpful staff. Rooms were very clean and staff kept them that way. Liked the location as it was quiet, so that sleep wasn't a problem after a long busy day. Main room was a bit smaller than we are used to, but that didn't spoil our trip.

Clean room, good shower, helpful staff, free internet and good location for metro and trains. Expensive for what you got - breakfast was adequate, but nothing inspiring, small room for 2 adults and a child. ( Although most hotels in Barcelona seem expensive compared to other cities. )

The hotel is 5 blocks away from metro station. Room is clean. Breakfast is good but it will be better if they add some Items. They really should reconsider adding WiFi to all the floors not at the reception only. For a solo traveller the room price is expensive.

The location is good, near two metro lines and some supermarkets. Pastry shop right across the street. Very clean rooms and helpful staff. I recommed a street-facing room as it is brighter and not that noisy. Also the bed is ok, not as hard as other comments suggest. Nothing important: only one chair in room, air conditioning was a bit noisy.

Very good hotel, room are well equipped but not very big. Breakfast is excellent, and hotel stuff are pretty helpful. Hotel is two metro stations away from city center (about 10 min. Ride), metro stations are 5 minutes walk from hotel. You can reach Barcelona beach with metro (two metro lines) by 25 min. Ride. Above all we were very satisfied with this accommodation, rate price-comfort-location. I would choose this hotel again. The Rocafort street is very busy, and if you open window it gets really noisy, there is no WiFi in rooms (only in hotel hall) but cable is available at reception, costs 5 €. Across the street there is very busy tire changing shop which is extremely noisy early in the morning.

As far as the hotel was concerned, the best part was dealing with the helpful and courteous staff. The room was small for three beds and the price was the highest we paid for our trip which included hotel stays in Madrid and Rome.
