good service, all my question get an answer. i needid coffe one day, i get it imidiatly with no charg. very clean. its 3 STARS hotel formaly - but its more than that.
one night no reception.... i was waiting 10 min + outside.
No hot water in the evening.
The hardest bed I've ever experienced. Impossible to get something ironed. Dirty bathroom. Poor service.
The location and the Wi Fi connection is actually quite OK. Quiet location.
The breakfast buffet could offer some more variety and the breakfast room room is a bit small, since you need to squeeze between the tables to get to one's place.
The person who checked me in was great - professional, helpful, informative. The room was just ok. Not great, not poor, just ok. I was there only 1 night, so didn't care about view or lack thereof. Didn't have the breakfast, but did find a great café around the block for excellent coffee and pastry in the morning.
I found the area difficult to find my way around (and this after travelling for 2 months through several countries with maze-like old cities). The front desk staff in the evening was less than helpful (her attention largely devoted to the young man hanging about), and there were few options for dinner without walking some distance down quiet dark streets (based on her single suggestion), which isn't my preference when travelling alone. I hope to return to Barcelona and, all in all, will look for somewhere else to stay next time.
Great location, close to Espanya Placa. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean on arrival and was tidied nicely every day.
The bed was not the most comfortable, but did not mind it very much.
Great location, comfortable clean room with a nice big bathroom. Reception staff very friendly.
Great service and cooperation from staff.
For a three star hotel I expected better quality of rooms. Our floor smelled funny.
Excellent location in the city center near 3 metro stations WiFi working very good (which is rare in hotels)
Breakfast was good, but every day the same.
This is our fifth stay at this hotel in the last 3 years. We like the location, which is an easy walking distance to the Placa Espanya and the magic fountains of Montjuic. The Ramblas and other attractions are easy accessible using the very reasonably priced metro system. the nearest station (Poble Sec) being just 100 metres away. We get A T10 ticket, priced at approx 11 euro's which gives you 10 journeys any where in the city. The staff at the Evenia Rocafort are always friendly and helpful. The rooms are always very clean and comfortable. The back rooms are a bit dark as they look out onto a central enclosed area. This does not bother us, as we only use the room for sleeping as we are usually out all day taking in the Catalonian sun.
Air conditioning a bit noisy
It was very close to the metro station and town center.
Good location, close to the metro. Staff was very helpful. Nice room.
Hotel good positionned for a walk to the rambla or for car acces. Kind personnel. Good room.
Public Parking rent bu the hotem about 100 m away with extremely tight entry/exit very dangerous to damage your car if ot is bigger than a Smart.
For a last minute booking, this hotel was the right price. The location was near the Metro & walking distance from the city center. I loved that alot as a New Yorker, walking is the best. No matter how late I departed, when I returned my room was clean when I got back.
There are no irons or ironing boards in the rooms, and the rooms are super small. But that's the norm for euro hotels. The staff is not well-versed in giving trip info or ideas, they couldn't help us beyond providing a map & directions to the Metro. So come prepared. Also, they all do not speak English, so know some spanish!
We arrived at 11:45 and our room was ready. We requested a double room on the outside of the hotel as we noticed there were inside rooms. Both requests were met and we stayed in room 308. The room was a really good size as was the bathroom. Even though we were facing the street we heard no noise. The hotel is not slap bang in the middle of the Rambla instead it is in a wonderful residential area 10 minutes walk away. There are plenty of really nice restaurants serving food at a much cheaper price than if we ate in the centre of town. There were a lot of bars which opened late and charged minimal amounts for drinks. Bottle of San Miguel 1€!! There were several cafés round the corner where we had coffee each morning. Coffee and a croissant 1.50€ and the quality was not missing. Poble Sec is the closest station, 2 mins walk. Espanya only 5/10 mins walk. Would definitely stay here again.
There was no iron in the room. Not really a complaint, I should just learn to pack my clothes better.
Good location near the Placa Espanya. Very nice staff.
The hotel was flawless.
Good location (3 min to a metro station) Nice staff Clean room and bathroom (bathroom quite large, also) Polite and helpful - they let us store our baggage in our last day there, after check-out
Could not provide an iron for our clothes, except if we paid and we would receive the clothes after one day. Otherwise, no major issues with the hotel.
Some staff were very knowledgeable of the area, and great location for getting the metro, going into the centre and for the port.
The breakfast was average and some of the staff had no idea about how to guide us around the area. Overall though, we would recommend this hotel and stay again :-)
Excellent friendly staff who were very accommodating with our lack of the Spanish language. Everything was made very easy. The main attractions were a short stop away on the metro which is literally 5 minute walk around the corner. The wifi provided was reliable and fast.
Everything was great.
Great location, near to the city centre and bus and metro stations. The personnell was very helpful, the hotel is perfect choice for a short trip and city tour.
The brakfast was great during weekdays, but at the weekend there is room for improvement.
everything was to our likes
