It whas quiet, short way to the center of Barcelona. Minus is that rud girl working in the bar with a really bad attitude. The price I payed did not reflect in the service of the staff in the hotel.

The Girl working in the bar where rude, did not pay any attention to the guest, in general she had a really bad attitude. The staff in the reception where ok. But it seems a bit strange that when I where presented the bill and I complained about the it, the receptionist started to argue with me befor he realized that I where rigth, then he had to print out my hotel bill two times more before it where correct. When I checked out they did not even asked if my stay had been pleasant or offered to call me a taxi.

All good, the staff were very helpful, telling you what to do, making reservations... the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable,the location is great, theres a bus station right in front of the hotel that takes you to the beach (barceloneta), and the metro Universitat is 5 min walking, La Rambla is 10 min walking. I wouldn't think of staying anywhere else when i come back to Barcelona. Thanks guys.

Thank you for your prompt enquiry while we were on route on holiday. We did reply with a comment commenting on the staff at the Cram. We had our luggage stolen in Barcelona under traumatic circumstances and Javier on the desk along with Jeremy were extremely helpful. Javier the day receptionist/manager couldnt do enough for us. He organised that we would be able to replace our medication which had also been in the luggage and made a difficult situation a lot easier to cope with. The furnishings in the hotel are extremely modern - the beds were fantastic and particulary the pillows which were so.....comfortable and luxurious. We may not return to Barcelona again because of the danger with thefts but if we did return we would not hesitate to stay at this hotel. Thanks, Rosemary Flynn

This hotel is rated 4 stars and it doesn't worth it. We paid a lot of money and everything was cheap: The safe wasn't lock to the wall so you can take it out with you (what a safe !), it was so small, the door fridge was broken, missing door in the shower so te floor was always wet, etc. I hated it.

The breakfast was very good, fresh omelets, pastries, cheeses, meats, fresh fruit, plenty of food and excellent coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice..The location of the hotel is good, only 10 minutes from the main streets, in a residential area, on a safe wel lit street.The hotel staff were friendly and provided suggesitons for dining and sightseeing.The bathrooms are wonderful, clean, large and the "rain" shower is a real bonus.

The rooftop pool was not clean and the rooftop patio was very narrow..not at all like the photos on the internet.. The hotel is modern, and has some interesting design,but very dark with the black lobby and black swimming pool tiles, making it not very enticing.The rooms are very small and oddly shaped. We had large suitcases and had difficulty finding room to store our clothes and place our cases.

Fairly quiet location yet handy to busy Eixample and old city. Modern decor, efficient rooms. Attractive rooftop breakfast buffet bar. All staff friendly and helpful. Taxi from airport under thirty euros with three passengers, twenty minutes. From north bus station under twenty euros and fifteen minutes.

Rooms quite small. Tv channels were either mostly not available, or we were misunderstanding the controls! Ten minute stroll from either of two metro stations (Universitat and Passeig de Gracia).

The personal is fery friendly.

The breakfast is very expensive but very poor at the same time. Some equipment (like shower, hook in bathroom) needs repair.

This hotel was dark and uninviting. The bar was drastically understocked and situated on the roof top, the bar service was very poor, the bar person just sat out of the sun, and did not come to you , you had to go to her. There was no food served on a sunday, I was offered what they called a "Mixed sandwich" when in fact when it was served was a cheese and ham toasty with crisps, the sandwich was served not even cut in half no salad no presentation!!!. Very very poor. the reception staff did not know where there was a local restaurant, and in fact there was two eateries within two minutes one was a excellent Chinese. The pool, well looked so murky and unclean I wouldn't wash a dog in it. and the cleanliness was sadly lacking in this hotel too

Room was lovely as was breakfast but the winner for us was the fabulous staff who were so helpful from the moment we arrived!

Staff very friendly and very helpful, went out of way to help us on a couple of occasions.. Would definitely reccoment the hotel and would stay agin no problem..

I did not like the glass doors to the lavatory. Not enough privacy.

Good hotel in very quiet and nice area. Near to downtown. Comfortable bed. Very good restaurant.

The hotel is quite dark, our room as well. The trasparent glass door of the bathroom is not the smartest thing I've seen.

Very expensive parking (25 euro per day)
