The staff, the location and the rooms

rooms so thin - we heard neighbours going at it all night. Staff aren't very friendly. Only one guy was helpful. The rooms weren't ready on time and they kept asking to wait half an hour, another half an hour, another half an hour - very frustrating and staff were completely not apologetic, just acted as if you were wasting their time asking for a room. Honestly, I don't think this should be 4 star because it leaves a lot to be desired.

The location was perfect, it was a few steps away from the famed Passeig de Gracia, Placa de Catalunya and a couple of minutes away from La Rambla.The hotel is close to the metro and the taxi hub. The rooms are fairly spacious, the amenities were clean, and the staff were very nice. Also, it was advertised to have free wired internet but they actually have free "WiFi" available in all the rooms.

I would think that the hotel would be more tailored towards business travellers. Also, the buffet breakfast, for the price is so-so. But then again, expect to pay just as much when you have breakfast in the surrounding areas.

I like that attitude of the staff. Breakfast is great and worth the price.

The floor of the bathroom is way too cold to stand on early in the morning.

We would like to thank Enrique and all the others for making our trip great and comfortable. Enrique helped us find tickets for couple of museums and gave us lots of tips for Barcelona. The location is perfect!

No sockets near bed. Extremely uncomfortable.

We have a two year old daughter and the staff was very friendly towards her(and so was the whole city). Also the room was very spacious and we had no problem fitting our strollers in there. Breakfast was great with large selection. Good pillows and beds to sleep in. The hotel was quiet during night and we had very good and restful sleep.

The hotel is not new. This can be seen in many things. The room safes have mechanical keys and the key to our safe was lost. We got to use a safety deposit box located in reception, but obviously that is not so easy to use. Walls and ceiling in the room had cracks in the paint and could have used a new paint job. Finally, the blankets were so tightly tucked under the mattress that it was difficult to get the bed "opened" before going to sleep. It required some heavy pulling to get the job done. My pregnant wife couldn't do it on her own. On the plus side, the beds do look nice when they are made.

The staff were extremely nice. It is a very clean hotel. The location is excellent,it is in the city center.

No tea or coffee facilities in the room. The safe in the room was quite old. It was not a digital one. You have to pay 20 € as a deposit in the reception to take the safe key, and then face a problem where to keep the key whether to keep it in your pocket or leave it in your bag.

Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The location was great - convenient reachability from airport with airport shuttle bus and very close to metro. Breakfast was of great variety. Loved it. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious. The bed was huge and very comfortable. It was an incredible value for the money, considering we got the last moment booking with reduced fare, I believe.

Nothing really. We could hear the voices from other room in the hallway, but closing the bedroom door fixed it perfectly. Absolutely nothing to complain.

Location - It is the center of Barcelona. Being almost at the "Plaça de Catalunya", you can travel by foot to all the main attractions, access all major metro lines and the bus from the airport; WiFi - It was fast, reliable and with high availability, so I could access my favorite applications (Facebook, Gmail, Google Maps, Youtube) and search for information of Barcelona with no problems; Staff - The staff was always courteous, ready to assist and help, making the trip more easy and enjoyable;

Modern hotel in excellent location for all places of interest as well as easy access to airport. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, comfortable room, clean. Will stay there again.
