The rooms are interesting! They are caves. Nicely decorated. Very homely. Worth checking out. The town of Guadix is quite far from the hotel. You need to drive.

Ya lo conocía, pero me ha sorprendido la amabilidad y el interés por agradar del personal del resturante. Además, al llegar hubo un problema con la reserva y nos ubicaron en una cueva más grande, con lo que estuvimos muy cómodos. La calefacción se queda un pelín justa para los días frios de invierno.

Leuk om eens in een grotwoning te verblijven. De appartementen zaken er prima uit, en van alle noodzakelijkheden voorzien. Het redelijk grote complex ligt iets buiten de stad, maar dat was voor ons geen bezwaar.

Besondes faszinierend war, eine gesamte Wohn-Höhle zur Verfügung zu haben. Das Hotel/die Höhlen sind ideal auch für Selbstversorger geeignet, da sie über eine eigene Küche verfügen. Die Lage dicht an der Autovía ist zwar schade, stört die Idylle aber - je nach dem, welche Höhle man im Komplex erhält - kaum. Der Hotelpool steht erst ab Juni zur Verfügung.

Een leuke entourage. Hotelkamers in de grotten. Dat trok ons aan. eens wat anders. Het complex van verschillende grotten ziet er aantrekkelijk en verzorgd uit. In de ons aangeboden 'kamer' stond een smal 2 persoons bed. Te smal naar onze smaak. De dame van de receptie was erg behulpzaam en regelde voor ons een kamer met 2 single bedden. En zelfs in een heus grot-appartement. Petje af. Als je eens afwisseling wil.... Het is maart. Dan kan het nog koud zijn in Spanje. En dat was het dan ook. En in een grot...nog kouder. Een drietal kleine elektrische kachels moesten te grote ruimtes proberen te verwarmen. En dat lukt niet. Helaas stond op de huisregels dat de kachels alleen aankunnen tussen 18.30 en 8.30. Dus overdag uit. Gelukkig werkte de receptie mee en werden de kachels aangezet. Dus enkele uren kou lijden. En wie schets onze verbazing....'s morgens gaan de kachels weer uit! Dat is geen service. Ook dat werd na een telefoontje naar de receptie wel hersteld...maar toch.

Lo pintoresco del alojamiento, es una maravilla la cueva. El trato con el personal inmejorable y atento. Únicamente el tema de la calefacción, podrían ponerla un poquito más en pleno invierno.

Günstiger Preis, kleine Kochgelegenheit. Liegt direkt an der Autobahn, man hört nachts die LKWs vorbei fahren, die Höhlen waren recht kalt nachts, trotz Heizung.

The view across to the mountains, the unique arrangement of the rooms - giving some experience of living in the caves which abound in the area - the authentic furnishings, besides the friendly staff and good local cuisine for the evening meal. For someone new to the area the directions for finding the hotel were very poor from both booking.com (information along the lines that it is just off the main N... road on the way into the city from the South/West or whatever, approx ... km from the town centre would have been more helpful than just the address and Lat/Long) and within the town (there were signs which seemed to peter out leaving one at a dead end) .It was rather close to the main road though this was not as noisy as might have been expected. The breakfast was rather basic though cheap.

Le décor des appartements est très original puisqu'il s'agit de grottes. Cependant, ils sont situées près de l'autoroute donc un peu bruyants et à l'écart de la ville de Guadix.
