Location View Nice and Quiet
Quality of the bed. The amount of hot water in the boiler.
Cleaning, location and view.
Internet and international TV-channels
great beach Less touristy than most places
Ulla and her staff was very nice and accomodating Terrace ( room 314) is fantastic! (though rooms under would lie in shade all day long)
. -No wifi in the rooms is below standard -Mattresses on the beds were horrible and very uncomfortable as were the very big and very flat pillows - Very loud music from nearby hotel (Sunprime 200 m away?) from 9pm till 12 am was REALLY irritating Couch/sofa inside the appartment was also very uncomfortable. - No sun beds on terrace is a bit irritating and the fact that we had to pay for sun-shade and sun-mattrases. - Only Spanish and German TV-stations and 1 (one!) english: sky news
The location & access to the local supermarkets 1 restaurants! Waking up with a bright sky & sunshine everyday. Had a great stay overall!
No wifi connection in the flat! We alawys needed to go to the Ground floor reception, & most of the time it was nit working properly. The pricing could be cheaper because the cleaning lady is not coming daily!
The staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurant had great food and it was directly brought at our apartment. The pool and hot tub were good. The hotel is a short walk to Playa del Cura and close to a pharmacy and supermarket. Playa del Cura itself offers a quiet beach but it is not a town: just few hotels and apartments. Mogan, Puerto Rico, Maspalomas and the airport are easy to reach by bus, taxi or car.
- The Wi-Fi connection did not work properly. One could only get a decent connection if no one else was using his/her phone or laptop at the same time. - Beds were too soft and short - Warm water was just enough for 2 short showers, but we were 3 people, so one of us will get a cold shower.
The staff were extremely friendly & helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The pool and spa were great, the location was excellent. Maid service/housekeeping was 5 times per week, even on Christmas Day. We stayed over Christmas and the value for money was exceptional in comparison to other hotels/apartments.
The beds were a little uncomfortable.
Relative quiet place when comparing with the surrounding villages which are very touristic and busy. Easy and short distance to beach as well as food places. Public transport easy reachable. Free parking for rental car. Management and staff very caring to offer comfort and eas living.
Noices from other rooms like water flushing can be heard. Wifi only available in public place.
Everything about Cura del Sol, the staff were extremely friendly and very obliging.
Disappointed with the service of the maid.Quite unfriendly and her cleaning was out of ten - 2
Overall the hotel is fine! 1) If you decide to live there make sure you have a room on the 3 or 6 floor (if you have problems with walking only 6th floor will be suitable for you); rooms on the other floors have shared terrace or have no terrace or balcony at all. The worst you can get is 1st floor. Best variant would be room 606 or 607 - bigger balcony, perfect view. 2) Everything worked well (elevators, electric devices, light bulbs) 3) not far from the sea (if you don't have a stroller or problems with walking). 4) good and not expensive restaurant. 5) Very clean and beautiful beach (though very small). 6) You can get to Maspalomas and Puerto Rico by bus or Taxi easily.
1) Internet is a disaster. 2) You will have to "fight" with a receptionist to get a good room. It seemed to me that they have good rooms for privileged guests and all the rest (who do not complain) get room on the 1st or 2nd floor with a doubtful view and without a balcony. 3) If you need a hotel which is very close to the beach you'd better choose Riviera Marina or Sunprime (for adults only) - both are very attractive. 4) the place is quiet but from 8-9pm till 12am music from 2 or 3 different restaurants is so loud that it seems you have 2 or 3 different bands singing together under you balcony which is a big problem if you have kids or easily wake up. I wouldn't recommend to stay there for more than 2 weeks.
Quiet and nice place. Nice pool and facilities outdoor. Good restaurant. Shops, restaurants and buses nearby. Nice beach at Amadores.
The nearest beach - dirty and too much stones.
The hotel was comfortable and clean.
Extremely friendly and helpful. From the moment we arrived Ulla and Patrick were excellent and most helpful.
