The Cye Holiday Centre was a lovely experience. Very comfortable, spotless acommodation, great staff and the kids entertainment i.e. Disco was brilliant and the D.J.was superb. Breakfast could have been more varied (it was the same everyday). Cheap brand of CoCo pops and Cornflakes which the children wouldn't eat. Bar food excellent, check out the chicken strips and chips. Easy walk 10mins to beach.
Excellent Staff /excellent cleaning /comfortable room everything I could ask for
It was cheap, but at the same time tacky. If you had a room to the rear, it was train tracks, and to the front overlooking the pool was tacky music all day. It is not far from the beach, and the right side of town which was good. Breakfast was average to poor.
value for money, location, clean room, friendly staff.
children in adults swimming pool nearly all the time. no variety in breakfast cereal during 10 day stay.
We went the end of september it was quit enough and thats what we like.i don't think I would go in the high season the hallways are very long and kids screams travels.the hotel is more family orientate.got the breakfast in the price and well impressed. Try ask for a room far away from the railway tracks.
Noise from the railway track.60 Euro deposit.if you want a pool view its 10 euro extra a night
Loved all the kitchen facilities enabling us to cater for ourselves, Gave us all an individual key and nice big balcony. Nice pool area with plenty of loungers very child friendly with a life guard present. Nights quiet after 12ish when the trains stop. Store room for late flight leavers. Friendly helpful staff. Top tip on arrival check the bin area as u could find some left over pool and beach freebies
No info in room regarding hotel facilities or procedures. I.e washing room .. Irons .. Check out times... Pool times ... Common rooms .. Hotel catering etc. Also no WiFi in rooms only on first floor in common areas. Entertainment is pretty poor could be a lot better and more involving and is not advertised well. Trains can be a bit annoying but not top bad. Room leaked in during a storm n never got sorted whilst we where there! And water went of for a short while during a storm but was quickly fixed :)
-Located near the beach, Mercadona just across the railtracks, peaceful and safe location. -spacious rooms. You can even change the language of the tv from spanish to english easily; press Tools -> audio -> pick V.O. or english. - "parking lot"-view is also a view to a small forest, port aventura and even a slice of the sea! 5th floor gets sun from the morning until 1 pm
We paid 10€/night extra for a pool view room. They have entertainment from 9pm till 00-01am. At first it was nice to watch it. Since the walls are paperthin, you can hear everything from your neighbor and the entertaining. Even with earplugs on and doors shut, you are oblicated to listen to macarena, crazy frog etc.Until 00.30. Travelling with a one year old baby we wanted to change the room. We had to pay 30€ for changing the room.
Room was very clean and spacious the staff were always friendly and helpful The pool was nice always plenty of sun beds
The trains were very noisy at night
potti and maria were excellent with the children and adults !!. The shows were brilliant others had said entertainment was boring. the acrobats show was excellent and magicican. the kitchen is perfect for breakfast and snacks.Drinks reasonable. The staff very helpful. We had a pool view room we got free as no other rooms available otherwise 10 euro per night.A short walk from beach, buses and small train (turn right out of front door & straight up to main street) buy a T10 ticket alot cheaper for buses. Portaventura/costa caribe park & Aquapolis a short bus ride away. The scotish bar up the road on the left towards the beach does excellent food and danny boys bar turn left at fc barcelona shop. We had an a,azing time in salou and would highly recommend the Cye Holiday centre to stay in.
Could do with providing pillows for sofa beds in lounge but just the housekeepers they are very helpful for anything you need
Apartment, pool and the beatles
Food was average to poor. prices were extortionate loud guests and no amount of complaining sorted it out. single beds bad materesses. poor entertainment apart from 1 band.
What I liked about the hotel is it's location, metro very close and taxi areas to take you were ever. The apartments have most appliances other than a toaster. It's reasonably quiet for your sleep and the a/c works for us Canadians who like it cooler while sleeping.
I did have some issues with credit card machine at the desk. All tv stations are in Spanish were other parts of the country they have a wider selection of languages. Wifi will cost you 4.50 E for 3 days and it's good.
Very nice helpful and friendly staff, big apartment for the price, lots of towels, big balcony! Lunch and dinner were quite good, with some healthy food options. About 50% was nicely freshly home-made, a lot of fish dishes, another part seems like it was just from frozen foods from a supermarket.
Breakfast wasn't very good - a lot of fat food, not many healthy options, bad coffee, orange juice tastes like Fanta and etc. For the lunch and dinner we had to pay for any drink. Location - we had the apartments facing the railways - it was always buzzing when passing by - a bit noisy. During the night people are walking through a noisy metal bridge, but if you close all windows that's fine (there is a conditioner).
Location is good. Staff are friendly.
Requested a quite apartment as we have 3 young kids, was given apartment 115 opp. stair & lift landing directly over reception enterance, got no sleep the first night ,then had to pay €60 to be moved to a quiter pool facing apartment. Good holiday after that.
The night time entertainment for the children was brillant. The lifeguard was amazing
Cleanliness, location, pool area
Trains passing right by hotel all through the day and night.
The apts were very clean and comfortable with all we needed pool area was great with lots of sunbeds and lifeguard close to beach and shops
We were so disappointed as there was no evening entertainment it was brutal such a pity because we would have gone back in the future there was no effort at all made to keep people there in the night worse I've ever seen
LOCATION EXCELLENT,STAFF POLITE AND HELPFUL,CLEAN.POOLAREA WELL MANAGED
Male kids facilator was outstanding and would be a credit to any 5 star resort. Bar staff very helpful
Female manager in bar area who I only seen one day. Didnt want to engage or understand English well
- very clean both in the room and in all hotel areas - good location, close to the beach and in good surroundings with nice buildings and not too noisy - supermarket close to the hotel - good night sleep, we were at the main entrance side on the 4 th floor - no noise at all, you can notice few trains, but you can barely hear them - good understanding staff, were ready to help when we had some issues and helped with check-in, check- out times - e.g. we were able to check in at 2 pm, which was very helpful, since our baby was poor - daily cleaning with friendly staff - nice pool area, in the afternoon after 3 pm the children' s one is in the shade, which is very good, because it is dangeroug to leave your little one under direct sun - family friendly, nice creche with toys and games
nothing really the only thing , we did't expect that the safe inside the room is for additional charge, but we did't use it at the end and had no issues
Entertainment a little lacklustre. Better pools elsewhere.
Great location, very clean, helpful receptionists. A short taxi ride to Port Aventura.
Some of waiting staff not friendly.
Very helpful staff. Lovely apartment. Spotless and cleaned every second day. Only 3 blocks away from the promenade and all facilities.
Asked for pool view and did not get it. Ended up at railway side and could not sleep with trains. Also pool much smaller than in picture.
Friendly staff. Housekeeping standards are high. No reserving of sun beds, towels removed if beds not in use. Lifeguard on duty at pool area. On site restaurant / pool bar.
No major grumbles. Would suggest softer matresses on beds and cushions for sunbeds.
We enjoyed our holiday very much. Staff were real friendly and courteous. Everywhere was kept very clean and tidy. I would highly recommend Aparthotel CYE Holiday Centre, It was very family friendly and safe for small children.
There was nothing we didn't like. We thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay, excellent value for money, and ideal location.
Couldn't fault anything about this hotel. We really enjoyed our stay, We had two apartments, as we had 6 kids with us. Our eldest was 17 youngest was 2. They all enjoyed it. Very central to everything. Beach was only 2 minutes straight down the road from hotel. Right in the centre of things. There is a train line behind the hotel, but for the 2 seconds the train passes you wouldn't even notice it. We will be returning there again next year, but would highly recommend the all inclusive.
The kids club could have been better. Even though there was plenty of entertainment every night till midnight.
