We arrived early and had to wait to get into the room. We stayed the first half hour in the patio with delicious coffee and marvelled at the simple beauty off the place. The room we inhabited soon after was fabulous - air, space, lovely furniture, funny old paintings... Splendid! WiFi was good, but our room was next to the router, so we might have been lucky. The hotel is right in the old parts of the city and makes exploring simple and lovely!
Location and breakfast.
-Very good location for exploring the city center. -Clean rooms. -Hotel has a lot of interesting art that adds character. -our room had a lovely view of the cathedral -reasonably priced
-no coffee or tea facilities in room -walls are very thin. The people in the room next to us woke us up when they came in late, and they weren't especially noisey. -bed was old and not super comfy (the pillows were good though )
Welcome of Ferran. Unique building, furniture and paintings. Location in heart of old town. Jacuzzi in room with great water pressure so easy to fill. Nice pillows. Enough heating. Generally quiet as we had room on courtyard.
Bed hard but seems to be usual in Spain. Can hear neighbours quite well through walls.
in the center of old city beautiful view out of window spacious room antique decoration
the neighborhood at night is very quiet and a little bit scary to walk alone
Dalt Murada is my favourite hotel in Palma, located at the heart of its historic old town. The rooms are big and airy, giving you a real flavour of old Spain, without compromising comfort. Definitely recommended.
Nothing not to like.
We can listen to everything which happens in corridor or other rooms Wifi connexion is bad
It had hot water
Its a two star hotel. The only part that was like a four star was the location.
Building full of character
Difficult to find
Traditional small hotel with a feeling of a big house with a pleasant garden for breakfast
Lovely furnished rooms with beautiful old Mallorcan furniture. We were hiven a choice of three and had one on 2nd floor with small terrace with table a chairs. Loads hanging space, big bathroom, lots towels & even a hairdryer !
Safe on top of minibar- not attached to anything.
The hotel is right by the cathedral and an excellent location. The staff were lovely and our room was perfect - access to the sunny terrace and had a great feel to the place.
Location excellent Very friendly professional staff Renovated to ensure period features retained. Beautiful surroundings
Cleaner started very early (I'm not a late sleeper) so no chance of a quiet lie in (I am talking 7.30 - 8 am) Being able to hear everything and I mean everything from other guests - not good! First night arrived at midnight but had rang to warn of late arrival. No help offered with my suitcase and I was the single female pushing it along to my room behind a young fit man! Something wrong there.
Small room on the ground floor, underequipped, way too dark and cold because neither windows nor the door fits to its frame properly. We did not manage to fix this problem with the heater provided since it was out of order. Very low price/quality ratio. This hotel definitely does not have the standard which is presented online. I would compare it to a regular city hostel and I am still wondering who has allowed 4* status to this "hotel".
The regular rate is too high for the service offered, but if you get a special deal for the hotel - like we did - it is a very nice place to stay in the center of Palma.
Our room on the top floor was so close to the Cathedral and 5 seconds from the wonderful terrace which had lovely sofas and the splendid view.
Spending the night in the older part of Palma and breakfasting in the garden.
Good location Interesting building
Beds are very hard
Location Art Style
Lack of a roof terrace as advert suggested it but garden was lovely
Quiet peaceful and historic building , the only sound at night is the cathedral bells. Pleasantly cool on a hot day. Our rooms were really spacious.
We wish the reception lady had been more welcoming on our arrival. All other staff were lovely.
The little rooftop terrace
We were looking forward to our stay and when we got there the room was very nice. Upon inspection later on we noticed the curtains in the living room and bedroom were hanging off the curtain rail. The jacuzzi had six jets but only two worked and the bed creaked and made noises every time you move on it and the mattress was too firm. The mini fridge stopped working so I went down to reception with my daughters milk to ask them to put in their fridge overnight to stay fresh, I was informed that reception was manned 24 hours but when I needed the milk at 5:30 in the morning there was nobody about so I had to go into the kitchen to find the fridge myself. I wanted to treat my wife to a nice hotel but at over £100 for the night I was terribly disappointed
Excellent location near the major sights, but also quiet. Our room was large and very well furnished with antiques and old paintings.
Whilst the bathroom was large, we thought the jacuzzi was over the top and out of character for the hotel. The lighting in the bathroom was not strong enough.
