The beds are fantastic. We had a room on the first floor overlooking the lane and cafes. Were not disturbed at night. The valet service was efficient.
A little difficult to find by car but once there it was central to the old town and the Alhambra was just a short bus (E1.20) or taxi ride (E4.00) away.
The rooms were lovely.
Parking was a problem.
Excellent location, close to the city center and major tourist attractions. Short distance from Alhambra. Nice, clean and large room. Rich breakfast. Definitely to choose.
No parking places around but there are a few underground garages nearby although a bit expensive (16,5 euros/night).
Location is great, good price, receptionist was excellent. Parking is available.
Not easy to find
Great staff who couldn't do enough to make your stay more comfortable. We had a good breakfast here as well.
Room needs some maintenance work (loose electrical sockets, wires)
lots of noise due to many restaurants on the street
Everything from the staff on the front desk, to the presentation of the rooms was excellent once again! Have stayed there a few times now and will definitely stay again!
Very nice big rooms and very comfortable. I loved the terraces in both the bedroom and bathroom. Also soundproof.
There was a constant bad odour in the bathroom. I think there is a problem with the sewerage lines. Also, the wifi hardly worked.
Excellent location, good parking arrangements, value for money breakfast, helpfull staff.
Too small bed & room. Weak wi-fi in the room.
Great location, in heart of city, great for going out and having taps. Good food and drink offer in hotel loby with approachable price for hotel. Reccomendation to go there for breakfest instaed of paying buffet.
Small rooom, can be noise from street since it is in bar area.
The noise of the builders working frim early in the morning
Room - OK. Breakfast - Average.
WiFi - Slow and poor. Parking at 200 meters
The breakfast and the room.
The parking has a complicated access. A better explanation about how to reach it is needed.
The soft and comfortable beds. The breakfast was great.
The additional payment required for parking.
Location was close but not too noisy.
On our first night we noticed that the toilet was dripping into the bowl - which we reported but they said they could not fix it that night . We had a bad night's sleep and even had to turn on the AC to try to deaden the sound. In the morning we reported the issue again and then went touring. On our return the toilet was still dripping, The staff were indifferent and the plumber was irritated as he felt he had already fixed the problem!! They tried to fix the problem which was better the next night but not fixed. On departure they gave us a 10% discount but that did not nearly compensate for the lack of sleep. I trust Bookings.com will follow up and give us feedback. You have always been fantastic as an agent and we are very disappointed with this hotel. Their attitude was the worst in Portugal and Spain on our trip. Sorry!
We liked the fact that on one side of the hotel, there was a narrow walk way that had a whole slew of outdoor restaurants and bars. Made dinner and having a few 'drinks' very convenient. We are sure that there are nicer hotels to stay at, but BW Dauro II was good value for your $$ if you are only staying for a couple of nights.
It's a hard to find hotel on your own. Make sure you take a taxi here from the airport or train station.
Charming old building in a great location. Good restaurant in the first floor. Very gentle people at reception.
Very small elevator. Little steps in the hallways make moving luggage difficult. Rooms confortable for two but impossible for three, a small sofabed when opened would block access to minibar. Understaffed. Street not accessible by car.
The beds were a dream! The location perfect.
Excellent location. We booked 2 rooms at 50euro each a night which we felt was very good value. Our adult children stayed in the room next to ours. Very comfortable rooms. One was larger than the other. Both overlooked the pedestrian walkway full of restaurants but we didn't hear any undue noises at all. Large supermarket close by where we brought some cold beers and wine. The restaurant downstairs gave us wine glasses. Main shopping street is 50m away. We enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend for a short visit to Granada.
The location was fantastic, all the attractions and areas were within walking distance, the room was a good size and the bathroom was huge. The staff at the front desk were very helpful with any questions we had & if they weren't sure directed us in the right place to ask. Great street outside with many options for lunch and dinner with great tapas. This hotel was perfect for us and had everything we needed. We even had a little balcony that we could see some of the Alhambra from and the Snow Capped Sierra Nevada mountains. Ask for rooms on 4th floor
If I had to be really picky, the wifi dropped out quite often.
Great central location for visiting city and sights.
Staff was informative and helpful.
Quite easy to locate and in the center of the city with a lot of nice restaurants nearby. Good 15 minute walk up to Alhambra or buses available.
Need to book entrance tickets on line a few days before as the queue into the Alhambra is very long and you may only be able to visit the beautiful gardens otherwise. Not a problem but be aware when you arrive at hotel you need to park in the center of the town square (up to 30mins allowed), then walk up a small street to the hotel entrance with your bags and their consierge will then park your car and bring it back when you are ready to leave.
