The 4-star Daniya Denis Hotel Spa is in Denia, in the Spanish region of Alicante along the Costa Blanca, close to the sandy Les Marinas beach and not far from town.

Food in the restaurant was excellent, nice setting
We had a amazing stay, we really enjoyed our time there, very relaxing, very unwind, the bedroom was excellent and the balcony had a beautiful view to the Woods. People at reception were very friendly and helpful.
We did not like the bar service.
The weekend consisted of the Xmas Fair which was excellent.
We do object to paper cups when ordering a coffee or tea. A five star hotel should be able to give china cups to their patrons even if the hotel is busier than usual with the Xmas Fair and not treat them like second class citizens by giving them paper beakers. Also the bathroom in our room needs a grab rail by the bath which is higher off the floor than usual and dangerous for patrons to get in and out of the bath without slipping.
The staff on arrival were very nice.
The fact that they made me feel like a thief for taking some breakfast when it was included in my hotel room rate. They actually made me feel quite embarrassed in front of my business associates.
See title, place is in dire need of upgrade. Feels stuck in 1970. Carpets shoddy. And wifi is terrible
Wifi is rubbish Carpets are worn and in need of replacement decor is in a poor condition and in need of upgrade. Tevisions are 15 years out of date.. Old TVs !!!!!!!
Breakfast Staff friendly Drinks reasonably priced Good sized car park
Not that close to town Limited evening food on offer No drinks service around pool
Friendlyness of staff ,size outlook and facilities of room. Open views ,balcony
Wifi didn't work in bedroom. Better restaurants elsewere.
A glass of cava as a friendly welcome. Competent reception staff who speak more than just Spanish... Rooms are slightly dated with their fitted carpets, but we found them quite homely and everything including the carpet was clean.
No hairdryer and no tea making facilities. Slightly disappointing for the stars they claim to have. Outdoor pool cold (unheated) and access to indoor pool at extra cost (Euros 20! but that also then includes sauna). Breakfast very disappointing for Euros 20. Coffea poor in thermos flasks and juices also low quality. No more than 3 star hotel standard although plenty of choice. The breakfast used to be very good: the local people used to go as a special treat to the breakfast. But nowadays I doubt that anybody would see this Euros 20 breakfast as a treat.
We were informed that WiFi was available , not so . We had no WiFi in our room , when we told the staff they said "That's right ! "
Breakfast, pool, pool bar, staff, comfortable bed and room.
Beautiful, wood-beamed terrace as an extension to the restaurant, with spectacular views of the pool and mountains behind.
Reception staff were a little slow to help us solve a problem, but showed willing in the end.
The bed was a little too hard
Large spacious rooms with lots of storage. Lovely terrace and pool area.
Hard beds, we asked mattress toppers!
The hotel is really clean and well looked after. The staff are very friendly and the pool is great. Food was good, we only ate dinner at the restaurant once but it was ok. Breakfast they had plenty of options and was tasty so can't complain.
Lifeguard at the pool was a bit of a buzz kill.
Breakfast was incredible value for money .staff so friendly and room was beautiful .also very clean
Had requested bottle of cava in room for arrival for anniversary but wasn't there However the rest was so good we weren't too bothered.
Pool area was nice, staff friendly, free parking, option to stay at pool after check out last day
Check in at 16h, TV tone was blocked at max. level 20 - too weak, pool water could be cleaner, a tiny little too far to Denia/beach (which I knew before)
the rooms..pool etc and the golf....
the break down of the bill...very complicated....and meals in the main restaurant.....the other was good...
Staff very friendly - spoke English great swimming pool, restaurant and bar snack menu was good - not mega expensive free newspapers daily in reception area clean
the French 'woman' sat around the pool - taking 2 sunbeds for full day and only been there for the odd hour shouting at me in front of everyone telling me to go back to my own country etc #no shuttle bus to local town #taxi to Denia town - 20 Euros one way # not near supermarket/shop # ice creams for children a bit pricey # no tea/coffee facilities in rooms # charged for ice bucket room service
Beautiful rooms with great storage, lovely hotel. Good food and nice pool area. Outside terraces nice in the evening if you want a night off driving!
Tea and coffee in rooms would have been great. Beds very hard but we asked for mattress toppers which eventually they did provide. More beds needed by pool in high season.
Good size of the rooms. Parking on the spot. Everything is spacious. The staff is very helpful
a very poor selection for breakfast -- well below 5 star expectations. A super slow wi-fi with odd ways of signing in. This hotel is a kind of relic from late 90s -- with all the advantages and disadvantages
The group was 2 couples and 5men, we all had clean rooms, twin/double rooms, breakfast was served from 7ish - 11am (I never went as I don't eat breakfast but the group went enjoyed it, from hot to cold food, massive variety), lunch is served at the bar or at the pool bar (Amazing!!!!) then dinner served in restaurant or at the bar (Amazing!!!), there is also a Thai restaurant (which was lovely!!) They have a weekly BBQ for all residents at hotel, we didn't go as it was our last night but it was so busy and the singers was good! Overall we all had an amazing holiday and definitely go back!! Location you need to get a taxi to Denia (€18) and Javea (€24) each way, both nice places to visit. All staff are friendly and speak good English. You definitely have to book this hotel!!!!!
The only down side is the entertainment at night = There is none, you have to make your own (expect Sunday)!
Comfortable beds, great air con, spacious rooms, fantastic pool, great staff, great restaurants in the resort, good wifi connection and speed.
It was a bit far out from Denia town but we had a car so it didn't bother us. It was a 10 minute drive away.
Location near the golf course. Restaurant choice.
Extreme hard beds. Early morning Pre occupation of chairs and umbrellas at the swimming pool.
Everything - service, location, food, facilities, room, staff, ease of parking, views and especially the welcome from the very friendly and helpful reception staff. The Marriott tradition of a glass of cava on arrival is always very welcome. We are looking forward to our next visit.
