Hotel Denit Barcelona  

Staff was very friendly.

Strange as it may sound, in the second room I stayed in, the view of the television screen was at an angle that the picture wasn't clear when sitting or worse laying on the bed.

The design of the room which was sleek, with attractive beds and furniture. The location was excellent as was the breakfast (a bargain). Staff were helpful.

Inadequate lighting for reading.

Great design and use of space. I stayed in a small class room and was perfect for 1 person. Very clean.

Good location near the Placa Catalunya and the Barrio Gotico. Friendly helpful staff.

Inadequate WiFi. Little privacy within the room for toilet. Breakfast - no healthy option such as muesli. Not being able to choose a single large bed rather than twin beds. Blankets instead of duvet.

I liked the firm bed the quiet alleyway and the forceful shower.

There was no tea or coffee facilities in the room

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are unique - love the layout and soaps! If you're not used to European rooms, you'll probably think it's a bit small, but I thought it was perfect. It was on a side street that looked a bit shady, but no issues at all (and I walked it to get to dinner at night, alone). The hotel recommended an excellent tapas place, where I got a free glass of sangria for mentioning the hotel. Yum! I'd definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel that is perfectly located. Literally within walking distance of all the main sights and in the beautiful old town location. Rooms are very modern, it reminded me a little of Ikea, small but comfortable. The staff are very attentive and happy to help with anything.

The breakfast was continental style with didn't really appeal to my husband and myself but that is only a minor downside.

The cleanliness of the hotel street ( urine smell, garbage etc...) One of the 2 ladies in charge of the breakfast said that we were early for breafast (we were 3 minutes ahead of time and wanted only coffee) = unflexibility about taking coffee first and then coming back for breakfast.

Excellent location, near the place Catalonia (Aerobus, Metro, Bus)

The small room is really only for one person comfortable. For two is very narrow. The walls has not noise isolation.

The toilet and shower were divided only by a sliding door from the bedroom which caused a feeling of lack of privacy

Very friendly staff, fantastic location, quiet. good breakfast, good value for a central location and hip modern decor.

Even a large room was pretty small and window looked out onto horrible central well with noisy air conditioning unit. We should have asked to change rooms but it seemed too much bother for 3 nights.

So relaxing and the modern ambiance is so nice with an amazing location ...!!!

The cleanliness of the room as the towels and bedding were changed everyday and toiletries restocked. The breakfast was very good. The location was great.

The noise. The walls were thin. Do not think the rooms are sound proofed as it states on booking.

Great location of the hotel within walking distance of every major attraction and very close to the transportation network (bus, subway). Room was clean and comfortable. I have stayed at another 5 star hotel nearby after our short stay here but the Denit provides the best value for the money. Staff was very helpful and even kept our luggage after the checkout until an outside excursion. Breakfast was good enough to get us started for the day.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff that spoke fluent English. We had room 16 which was spacious in comparison to the other rooms and faced an courtyard and residential flats so the view was non existent but meant it was quiet. Basic continental breakfast in the basement which was fine for us and good value at 7 euro. Walking distance to major sights, shopping, tourist bus, airport bus and La Ramble.

The hotel is on a back street, which as first looks questionable, but turns our to be very friendly! The hotel is ideally located and just two blocks from most of what we wanted to see. We loved the staff, the rooms were very different and most comfortable. I would gladly stay there on our next visit. Very quiet and away from the hub bub, but walk down to the corner and you are where you want to be.

I did not like the shampoos, soaps and conditioners, but I had my own and so it did not matter very much.
