Hotel was on back street so it was quiet and not far from metro.

Wi-fi didn't work in our room. It was working only in reception.

good price for 4-star hotel, clean and quiet

location - far from metro station personal on the desk was not very polite, it was very rud situation in the lobby when I wanted to take of my shoose togive my foots rest. the women on the desk very loud said me on Spanish don't do this (as I understand) Wi-Fi is not free. only 1 hour per day and only at the lobby. in the room and more then 1 hour - for money.

Although it is rated as a 4 starts hotel, it does not reflect its rating in any aspect. The furniture is old and worn out. I could not have internet access for the first 2 days and it didn't seem to bother the staff. The bathrooms ceiling is made of corrugated iron (4 starts?). The acoustic, you basically hear every door slam on the floor and can even hear the next room conversation.

Nice hotel, nice staff, nothing out of this world but the pool and mini-spa in the sister hotel over the road was good (especially the shower with loads of jets). couple of decent restaurants on the same street too, doing nice iberico ham

Rather big rooms but a little bit noisy (especially you hear footsteps in the room above as there're no carpets). Cleaning was ok. Towels were changed every day, linens one time in two days. Shampoo, shower gel, body lotion, soap, shower cap, hair-drier are available in the room. Safe and mini-bar in the room. We used mini-bar as the fridge. Perfect location for shopping at Diagonal. Walking distance from Camp Nou. It's easy to get to the centre of Barcelona by metro. Ask at reception how to get to metro station by bus (2-3 stops depending on the station) if you don't want to go by foot.

The people at reception were very unprofessional and unhelpful! Wi-fi didn't work for 5 days/nights of 8 we were staying. Especially it was a trouble the night before departure. I called to the reception, the hotel stuff promised to reload internet, but the reload didn't help (or probably they did simply nothing). During my second call they promised me internet in 5 minutes. Nothing changed. After that the receptionists stopped picking up the phone, although I called 3 times within 45 minutes. So I couldn't ask for wake-up call. Of course I didn't check- in for the plane. In the morning internet upstairs still was not working. There was no computer with printer available in the lobby for flight check-in. It's the first time in my life reception does't answer the phone. In case of emergency I couldn't get any help at all!

Room was nice and clean!

Location is bit far away but still okay. Staff could have been a little bit friendlier. Cleaning ladies are always too early and you can hear all the noises from the hallway.

There was very loundly,becouse of the neiborhoods.

Large bedrooms, good bed,and shower

The advertised "free wi-fi internet" worked great on the first day we arrived, then it never worked for the 5 days we stayed there. All my complaints were dealt by the reception with a "go stay somewhere else" atitude.and lies about "too many people online", which they insisted was true even at 3 in the morning!!! The elevator blocked us several times and the whole place felt as a "was great now going decrepit place". During the weekend only the bellboy was at the reception. Got some internet after screaming and they produced a cable to connect to an internet socket on the room wall. Overall is far from any metro/subway/bus itineraries, and should be avoided by those without a car. Room prices vary everiday. Some up some down:unpredictably.

A clean and comfortable room; a quite street, there is a good sumermarket near the hotel, and a range of caffes/bars.

Overpriced breackfast. Early cleaning. Unstable wi-fi connection. Hotel's location - it is pretty far from city center, however an undeground station is not so far and the railway station Barcelona Sants is 15 min working.

Clean, spacious room, nice spacious bathroom ,polite staff,breakfast a bit pricy, but there is a great coffee shop just next door.location is good,buses to the city center or taxi ride only for 5 euros, very close to the tram station.

Out of 10 tv channels only 2 were in english BBC News and CNN News no entertainment channels in english.

Hotel Derby levede fuldt ud op til vore forventninger og faktisk mere til. Flot og rent. Pænt stort værelse. Dog lidt gadestøj om natten, hvis åbent vindue. Super breakfast. Venligt og smilende personale.
