The Hotel Monte Triana is in Seville’s Triana district, about a 15-minute walk from the historic center. The bright, air-conditioned rooms have free Wi-Fi, pillow menu and digital TV.
Score from 2005 reviews Excellent
The walls are thin and it is noice at night
Room was modern and decorated nicely. Good bathroom with toiletries. Good TV and wifi although didn't really use them much!
Bed could have been better. No bar but terrace at roof level where you could buy drinks from vending machine (which was broken).
The central location of the hotel with shops and restaurants within easy reach
Hotel menus was excellent but only for lunch no evening meals or bar service . This is not good for tourists who want to see the city by day and relax at night about eight o'clock
Excellent location Friendly staff
Rooms are outdated and small
Easy walk from the airport shuttle. Bus to train station outside the door. Easy walk to all the sights. Room was a good size.
Double bed was too small. You can hear your neighbors through the walls.
The breakfast was correct, could be better, but it's ok. Very good location. Bus stop and shopping centre are just in front of the hotel. But we mostly went to visit everything by foot.
Very uncomfortable bed. We asked for a double bed and it was with separates mattresses which were extremely hard. Could also hear neighbors noisies.
Everything was very good, Central, clean, good breakfast, helpful staff, comfortable rooms
Great location. Most everything we wanted to do was easily within walking distance. There was a parking spot right in front of the hotel to use while unloading our luggage-very rare. Parking garage was very close to hotel. Overall-enjoyable stay.
Hotel does not use double-sheeting on beds. Evening staff did not speak English well. Towels and linens could use updating.
The location in Plaza del Duque is one of the best in Seville, right across the street from El Corte Inglés.
The single rooms in the hotels are quite uncomfortable, tiny beds, terrible pillows and worn out linens and towels. Room smelled of nicotine.
. Excelent location, in city centre. 10min walk from Cathedral and main interest points. . El Corte Ingles just in front of Hotel, with shops and supermarket. . Near shops and restaurants . Room was big, quiet and clean. . WC was good enough . Free wi-fi and TV with many international channels. . Parking is at Corte Ingles. They give you a card for entering and leaving at any time.
. The staff at reception was not very nice. They explain the basic stuff, but don't have the initiative to tell you about good points of the city. . Parking costs 15eur per day, but you don't find much better in the city. . The room walls are a bit thin and if people make noise in the room near, you can hear. However, isolation from street noise is good.
Central location Nice personel
Noisy upstairs thin walls
Staff, position, breakfast.
A bit noisy, the look is a bit "old fashion"
Central location, good price and clean.
Bed compfort could be better. Could be noisy (neighbours etc.)
Location, room size
Breakfast was repetitive , not too much choice. No in room food dining option
Great location, comfortable rooms. Approx. 700 m walking distance from Airport bus station.
Although I had booked a double bed, We were forced to make do with two singles, which was unacceptable. the plumbing was poor - the w c didn't flush properly. The coffee at breakfast was of very low quality (a Nescafe machine! which didn't even have hot water! The hotel is over-priced
Good hotel in city center.
There is a problem with parking in this location. It is better to use hotel's offer of parking.
Location, room size,
Location was really great, comfort of hotel as well. Breakfast was decent, but not bad. Overall no negative comments.
Nice location, parking close-by. Pretty and modernly inside. Comfortable room. The staff was adequate, but I'd expect better English in this hotel. Roof terrace and top-floor lounge are superb.
The location of the hotel was great, right on the Plaza del Duque in the heart of the city. The 32 bus takes you to Santa Justa rail station in 10 minutes. It drops you off in the plaza across from the hotel but note you need to pick it up around the corner to take you back. The hotel is a short walk through the main shopping area to reach the main part of the old town where the cathedral is situated. There are so many restaurants to choose from nearby. There is a supermarket in the basement of the El Corte department store on the other side of the square. We had a room facing the square with two big windows that opened and it was almost like having a balcony (room 202). The windows are well soundproofed with two sets of double glazed windows that slide open. The room was clean and functional and we had no problem getting a good night's sleep. The wifi worked fine for the whole stay. The breakfast was fine for the price we paid with a selection of hot/cold items, fruit, cereal, etc. There is also a nice roof top terrace.
Very noisy from the street.
Location was excellent. Value for money was really good. Hotel was clean and tidy and very centrally situated in the old part of the city. Breakfast was very good. Bathroom was excellent with lots of hot water.
