Clean, convenient efficiency apartment in the heart of the Cortes neighborhood. Nice street, lots of restaurants, walking distance to major museums and sights. More room and amenities for the same or LESS cost of a hotel. Pleasant manager, Marc, for all arrangements.

Excellent location in the very heart of the old part of the city. Our apartment was in the atic, so also romantic and cute. Everything new and clean. New elevator. A lot of light. Still quiet. Staff friendly, especially young Spanish lady.

Charged eur 30 for arrival during the weekend - this is way too much, really. I could have understood eur 10, but eur 30 is really a robbery. Bathroom a bit too small.

Location, convenience, kitchen facilities, room for an extended family, clean, fully equipped including all towels and bedding.

Second bath was a little tight.

The apartment was spacious and beautifully fitted out. Everything that you could require for your stay was available.

Unbeatable location just around the corner from Plaza Santa Ana; walking distance (if, like us, you like walking) to most of the main tourist attractions in Madrid: Puerta del Sol & Plaza Mayor in one diection and El prado & El Retiro park in the other. The flat was spacious & very comfortable with a separate bedroom, 2 bathrooms and a very adequate kitchen area.

The administration aspect needs some serious improvement. Prior to arrival I was emailed a collection of very daunting documents including a 'leasing contract' & the information that I would have to pay a 100 euro deposit plus 30 euros for arriving or leaving outside 'standard hours'. They had also already debited my account for 25% of the total cost. Gaining access to the flats was also problematic. Phone calls to the nominated number got us nowhere. It was only when I rang another number on the booking form and spoke somewhat forcefully (fortunately my Spanish is fairly fluent) that we gained access to the building. From then on all was sweetness and light. However the 30 euros for arriving at the weekend still rankles!

Great location, we could walk to all major attractions. Very clean and quiet. We will be staying again next month.

The staff are very hospitable and go out of their way to be helpful. Location was ideal, walk to Plaza Mayor, Prado, Puerta del Sol, Gran Via etc. You're in the middle of Madrid but the apartment is tucked in a quaint street with lots of great places to eat. Check out the panaderias and mantequerias nearby.

no kettle,felt closed in,very small showers,with shower curtains,TV in wrong position,hard bed,only air con units to cool or heat.

Very beautiful, comfort, old style place in the heard of Madrid. O lot of nice bars and caffes around.

We came 9pm and there wasnt any receptionist inside. We had to call receptionist, wait outside the door about 30 minuts and than we had to pay 30 euros for an "extra-check-in". The receptionist stay in the hotel during only 2-3 hours in the day-time. If you going to arrive or leave not in midday you`ll have to pay an extra-charge.

A beautiful, modern and spacious top floor apartment with clean, modern glass lift. Right in the heart of the Bustling Heutas district - everywhere within walking distance. We are delighted to recommend it as an ideal apartment :)

the shop on either side of the apartment entrance make it look quite "suspect" and initially off-putting.

everything was perfect

The location. The excellent WiFi. The interior decorating and apartment facilities.

The lack cleaning. No one came to clean. I had to ask for cleaning after staying 2 weeks, then they cleaned and didn't come to clean again (another 2 weeks). I shouldn't need to ask - cleaning should be automatic at least once a week.

Everything was excellent, there is nothing to complain about.

This apartment is in a great location. Mark the manager was very helpful, and the apartment has everything you need for a great stay.

The booking conditions do not state that they want to charge 30 euros if you check out before 10am Mon-Frid. This doesn't appear until after the booking is made so argue it and read the small print.

Penthouse apartment very central to everything. Has everything you need for a quick city break

Stayed in penthouse and the exterior air con unit for the building was located on the outside bedroom wall. This came on and off for around 15-20 minutes ALL NIGHT LONG!!!!!! making sleep virtually impossible.

Nice atmosphere

Very noisy outside on Friday and Saturday night. Implossible to sleep until early morning.

Great apartment.Could do with a kettle though and some heating in the winter

Very quaint. Exposed beams. Tiny balcony. Kitchen facilities were very good. They had a toaster!

The bedroom space was very small. Access to bed from only 1 side. About 1/3 of the space was unusable. Still we loved staying there.

The apartment is in a great location for walking to all the main city centre attractions, very clean, comfortable and well equipped. This is an excellent alternative to a hotel if you like comfort with a more space and flexibility.

We arrived a little later than planned due to a delayed flight and were unclear initially if we were at the entrance to the apartments as we struggled to get any answer from the intercom and the doors were locked. Thanks to some friendly natives also staying there we got in eventually. It's worth mentioning the street can be very noisy well into the night at the weekend.

Centrally located and yet very quiet. Good heating / airco both in living room and bedroom.

I liked that it was clean and modern in appointments. I was provided with all the information I needed to use it effectively. I especially like how well the Wi-Fi worked - it was a very strong signal and never dropped. We had all the ameneties we needed and it was easy to figure out how to use the things we needed.

There could have been more clean dish towels and regular bath towels available in the apartment
