Very efficient and friendly staff, lounge on floor 15 offered a nice retreat in the evening, excellent location for the metro and for conferences, very comfortable rooms

Swimming pool not heated

The hotel is excellent. It has a prepared and kind staff. Its location was excellent for us because we were attending a conference in CCIB, Centre Conventions International Barcelona. The beaches are near there and we just go walking to all of them. The Hotel is close to metro station to go to town and to all city. There is a excellent cafeteria close to hotel, then we didn´t pay the breakfast in hotel (we payed 2.50Euros in cafeteria for a coffee and toast with butter and jam). I certainly would wish to go back to the Diagonal Zero and recomend it.

O nosso quarto era limpo no final da tarde o que dificultou o acesso ao quarto algumas vezes. Apesar disso, a equipe sempre foi muito gentil e rápida.

The room was spacious and the staff were very friendly.

The layout of the room was very strange and because the air conditioning was very loud our room was very hot at night and we found it hard to sleep.

Bed slides away from wall when you rest pillows behind you to sit on it. Don't like Mimi bar items outside fridge on sensors. I accidentally picked a bottle up to look at it. However, I wasn't charged. Would be a night mare if you had children

Location was perfect for the beach and shopping at the Diagonal Mar centre. Free and simplistic internet access.

As a family holiday, I would have thought that the front desk would show more enthusiasm in providing some touristic information. Did not feel welcomed besides the moments when Allesandro was present. £18 per head for breakfast is expensive. I saw a number of guests purchasing food items at the nearby shopping centre. No kettle in the room, microwave is no alternative. Parts of the tea and coffee offerings were not replenished regularly. Some parts of the hotel are restricted for certain guests.

Very close to the Primavera Sound festival site. Friendly staff. Nice decor.

The rooms were a decent size.

The showers didn't deliver much water flow. The ice machine on our floor was broken - as was the one on the floor above. When we complained we were told that it was because too many people were using it - not true. When phoning reception from the room, the staff would pick up the phone then immediately hang up instead of answering. This happened to my girlfriend three times in a row. Very rude. The room key deactivates a bit earlier than the checkout time so you can't get into your room or use the lift if you've just gone downstairs to pay the bill for example.

The staff was very nice, room was clean and well decorated, very modern.

Still too expensive.

I didn`t have warm or hot water in the shower only cold water! Unbelievable! Didn`t get any discount for that!

Spa and sauna was perfect. Bed was really good and big.

Bathroom in room is too open

the 15th floor lounge facility. The rooms, probably most things

could have had a kettle in the room, wasn't good to heat water in a microwave

breakfast was very poor quality for such A quality hotel... poor range... hot food usually cold....poor selection of cereals/fruit.....would not book breakfast here again, so would not return.

Microwave and fridge in room!!

Rooms were excellent. The cleanliness, the space. The bathroom was fabulous. The young man who took the luggage up was excellent. Helpful and smiling and an asset to the hotel. Near to the Metro and the tram and the open-top Hop-on, Hop-off bus stops right outside. Reception staff were friendly. Fantastic roof-top area with swimming pool and a bar/terrace.

Tea & Coffee facilities in room not acceptable. Microwave to heat the water in a cup (not provided) that didn't work and had no instructions on how to use. Restaurant was closed on Mondays so we had to use the downstairs Echo bar to eat. They had a problem and because of the problem they were bad tempered and not able to cope. Food was mediocre and took a long time to come. A lot of building work going on around the hotel and half built buildings. A bit to far from the Centre but good for the beaches.

Good location, great value for 4star hotel

This hotel is in a good location for access to the Grand Prix circuit - on the outskirts of Barcelona, with easy access via metro to the centre and a walk across the road to a decent beach. Parking is good in the underground car park. The hotel is modern and reasonably well equipped - the rooms (lighting, heating) are 'run' by a software interface screen in each room. Our Exec room was large enough and well designed. The bar Tapas was pretty good too. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The software interface is clunky and slow - the air conditioning never really cooled the room even though it was only 23 degrees outside. They provide liquid soaps in dispensers rather than actual soap (aarghh !) The bed, although large, was hard and quite uncomfortable. Not enough English channels on the satellite TV.

The professionality of the staff, the accomodation and the close beach!

The bed was very comfortable and the mood lighting was a nice touch.

Location is good – very close to public transportation (metro, tram, bus, taxi). Huge shopping mall is 2min away. Beach (even though not the most impressive one, by a large car parking) is 7min away.

There was a bit too much dust in the room as for 4*. My wife started to sneeze the moment she tried to open the curtains. Literally pile of dust in the window between the bathroom and the main room. Though, the rest in the room has been cleaned and maintained properly.

The rooms were a good size and modern

The pool was in the shade so fairly pointless unless you went in the morning.
