The nice balcony with sea view. the room are clean and in good condition.
Wify signal was insufficient so internet was not working (we were at the 6th floor)
The room with ocean view is fantastic, has a balcony too. During the nights of weekend is a little bit more noisy, but for the rest is fine. The breakfast is very good, continental and also mediteranean style.
Wi-fi very very bad. The tv is old and the signal cable very poor. There are only 5-6 chanels, only analogic. For us it wasn't a big problem because we stayed inside only during the night, but for people who use to watch tv intensively it should be one!
The staff were lovely, always willing to help, very friendly & approachable. Very nice hotel. Breakfast was very good.
the location was brilliant-across the road from the beach-get a sea view room-it comes with a balcony. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We so looked forward to breakfast each morning as the range and scope catered for all tastes-hot and cold meals as well as cereals and breads etc.We were in the city and yet very little noise. The facilities around were top class. We would recommend this hotel and our experience was very positive.
Wi-Fi intermittent in room but no problem on ground floor.
Perfect location for everything in Arrecife all only a short stroll away. Plenty of good restaurants near. Good size very clean and comfortable room. Worth paying for a sea view room. Wifi on 5th floor worked well. Wide breakfast choice cooked & continental. Found plenty of free on-street parking at rear of hotel.
My only gripe was that fried eggs had been cooked at start of breakfast session (7.30 a.m) and left to go hard and overcooked. Could so easily be rectified if less cooked but more often! Otherwise everything was lovely including plenty of fresh fruit.
Room and bathroom (and shower!) far superior to a 5* Bilbo-hotel we recently stayed in, and compared, this hotel also offered beautiful views over a small La Concha-like beach, sunsets from the balcony and undisturbed sleep. B/b at a cost less than just the breakfast at the aforementioned. That's a very good deal, we think. Fridge and safe included, and better coffe than a lot of other hotels.
Even though there were a lot of choice for breakfast, both eggs and bacon not really fried. but rather cooked in oil and still dripping wet. Not to everyone's liking. Also the sausages were of the cheapest. After dark, mosquitoes on the balcony on 5th floor, but hotel not to blame for that. The usual bad reading light, bring your own.
The location right in front the beach and a short walk from the shops and bus station. The beds were hard which a lot of people don't like but we did, slept soundly and very comfortably. We had half board, breakfast and dinners were plentiful and the food was decent for a buffet. 3 hour window for each meal time so no rush or need to get up early. Rooms were made up every day and towels replaced when needed.
No tea/coffee facilities in room as they prefer you to buy from the cafe. Wi-fi didn't work at all for first three days but worked well for the rest of our stay. We regret not getting a sea view room as it would have been perfect to sit on the balcony to relax. Long queues for the coffee machine at breakfast.
This hotel is excellent in all respects, location on the seafront close to the bus intercambiador, professional staff, spacious room including a fridge, extensive buffet breakfast. It is worth paying a little extra for the sea view and balcony.
the sea view from the room
wifi was not working
Although we only stayed for 1 night we were impressed with the friendly and helpfulness of the receptionist. The beach is straight across the road and the main shopping centre is only 10 min walk away. Taxi to airport is only 10 min and was ordered by receptionist. Hotel Diamar is excellent value for money and great location to explore Arrecife, which is well worth a visit. We would definitely stay again
Great location, spotlessly clean , great food, great value...and all the staff are so friendly and helpful... an excellent stay all round.
There is nothing I dont like about this hotel. I have stayed for business and leisure; and I feel as though it is my "home from home" in Arrecife
Price was good, the breakfast was nice, tasty. The rooms were clean. Good value for money. When the internet worked, it was very fast.
There was no internet for most of the days we stayed there. The hotel has no pool. The location is away from touristy area, the beach is nice but you can't swim there, too shallow. You need to pay extra for a room with ANY view.
It kept us from staying on the beach
As a Wheelchair user I asked for a Disabled rooms, couldn't use the bathroom, doors to narrow, could only just get into lift in my wheelchair, beds to low and food cold, would not use again
I stayed here for one week. I would definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others. The staff were very helpful, friendly, professional and efficient.
Weather, hotel, local bars and restaurants, good beach so close, local buses so convenient.
Cheap toilet paper in our bathroom!!!This was my only complaint so I would not have mentioned it if you did not ask!!,
A lovely place if you have a front room with a balcony overlooking Playa de Reducto. Large room and terrace with wonderful views over the sea to Fuerteventura and over the beach (try to get a room on the upper levels) and you can watch the ferries/cruise ships steam across the bay. Room very quiet and not at all noisy from the road below. Bed and linen good and bathroom large and modern. Staff very helpful and friendly with a good sense of humour and banter. Breakfast had good and varied selection with better than average coffee - but weird bacon in lots of liquid - either frazzled or only boiled! When next in Lanzarote I'll definitely stay there again.
If you have a credit card that gives you a good rate of exchange, as I do, then make sure they charge you in Euros rather than convert into your local currency. They charged me in sterling using a pretty bad local rate.
Tres bruyant. Connection impossible. parking payant.
nice comfortable room, beach very very close
wifi on 5th floor was very patchy
Everything was perfect, thank u very much!! Perfect location, balcony, cleaner every day, good breakfast, very good restaurants around hotel-food was great and cheap.. Great weather (october), nice and clean beach in front of hotel..
very bad wi fi, 95% of time it didn't work..
Bathroom was nice. Room was clean.
It was very loud all night long. The street was very loud, you can hear other guests talking in the coridor. Breakfast ok, but all products not very good quality.
Nice place, comfortable, if dark inside room - very clean. Excellent helpful staff, decent breakfast choice. Convenient for beach and intercambiador, but a little walk from main town - not a big town though so no problem.
Very hard bed, but slept well. Indoor room with little natural light, so a bit like a closet, but it was cheap so didn't mind.
Everything. Staff were really helpful. Location is ideal. Close to bus stop and town centre. Will be back next year.
this hotel is in front of the sea. very clean, nice staff, nice location,
the temperature in the fridge was mild not cold
POSITION, QUALITY OF ROOM
RUDE RECEPTIONIST. HOPEFULLY HE HAS BEEN FIRED BY NOW. SEE MY TRIPADVISOR REVIEW!
Great destination, perfect ocean view. Recommend to book rooms with ocean view otherwise you`d have a blank window where you could see an interior of a hotel.
WiFi was awful (3d floor) :( though the router was 5 meters away
