Hotel Don Pancho  

The hotel is very clean, and has good food and friendly service. The buffet-style restaurant is of excellent quality. And there's something for everybody, that is unless you’re expecting mini-pizzas and pies - in which case you’re in the wrong hotel and will be disappointed! The hotel’s clientele are generally of the older generation, let's say from their mid-40’s to the "sky's the limit" – so it’s not for kids – or the club 18-30 generation. And if you’re the rowdy, party type – after all, the hotel is in Benidorm, the Don Pancho’s not the place for you, and you'd probably end up getting chucked out! By the way, although very comfortable and clean, the hotel furnishings are definitely stuck in a 1980's time-warp - so don't expect boutique! But there again, the hotel management know their clientele and cater towards them. And I guess these kinds of soft, plush furnishings obviously appeal to a lot of guests, many of whom go back year after year, so the hotel must be doing something right.

Excellent service from staff and great location

We liked everything about Don Pancho. The location was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. There was a nice mix of Spanish and English people there all "of a certain age" so probably less suitable for families, certainlt at this time of year. The hotel has a luxury feel to it, the decor although, perhaps a little old fashioned for some tastes gave you the impression that a lot of thought and effort had gone into the design, more so than some of the newer hotels, which are more minimalistic. Beautiful tiled entrance and mirrored lifts, English tv channels if you need them.The hotel holds less people than some in Benidorm which enhances the service and personal feel. We had rooms on the top floor so the view was spectacular. We were there for New Year and would certainly visit again and would reccommend this hotel to anyone, certainly couples who are a little older.

For us there was nothing to dislike.

The hotel was perfect for our stay at Christmas, The food was very good and varied enough not to get boring for the days we were there, and the xmas gala dinner was superb. The location is about the best in Benidorm close to the beach and with views to the sea from rooms above about the 6th floor (17floors). Parking was easy and reasonably priced in their garage. The rooms were clean and well maintained and the staff very helpful.

We were pleased to see they had uktv but it started to lose signel in the evening just when you wanted it (bbc1 and itv) news channels were ok tho. Rooms would benifit from an update to look more modern although there was nothing wrong with them just a little dated

Food was excellent & the resident dance trio also.

This hotel is superb for older travellers who like a slightly more formal holiday. I travelled with my elderly mother and it suited her just fine. Areas to plug mobility scooter in etc. The staff are excellent and although slightly dated the decor and comfort were very good. If you are looking for a typical beer drinking good laugh type of benidorm experience then I would choose somewhere else but if you need good service and a safe hotel then this is the one for you!

Very central for the nightlife.

The door to the pool opened at 9.00 am - people then went out, put towels on their sunbeds, then returned to the hotel, probably for breakfast. The pool area was very small for such a large hotel and, once towels were on the sunbeds, the guests should stay there, unless leaving for lunch.

The rooms were very clean and the food was excellent. There was nothing to complain about at this hotel.

Følelse av luksus ved ankomst. Nydelig inngangsparti og svært hyggelig betjening. Rommene var ikke så store, men helt ok for to personer. Rent og pent. Rengjøringspersonalet var hyggelige og gjorde en god jobb. Fine og rolige omgivelser. Fikk følelse av velvære. En svært hyggelig matsal med svært trivelig betjening. Blide og smilende. Hotellet ligger svært sentralt til. Kort avstand til det meste. Kan absolutt anbefales.

For vår del var sengene litt for harde. Vi kunne sikkert ha spurt om å få en mykere overmadrass. Siden dette er så individuelt, kan jeg ikke si at det trekker ned.

Lo conocia de otras veces, lo recomiendo esta muy bien, la comida es muy buena y mucho para elegir, en general todo muy bien

Alle opa en oma voorzieningen.

Het eten. Het eten is zo slecht in het restaurant, weinig keus en alles op opa's en oma's gebasseerd. Als je het botje van de kipkluif vast pakt trek je het bot er zo uit zo mals is de kip. Het is bijna snot! Er liggen amper toetjes. Fruit: PRUIMEN ?!? Er ligt haast niks waar je je tanden in kan zetten. het is allemaal hap klaren slik snot voor opa's oma's en baby's als je het nog verder prakt.
