Don Polvorón  

Excellent location alongside the a92 motorway - just stayed for 1 night as a stop-over on way to Portugal. Traditional spanish "tapas" type bar area was absolutely heaving with patrons when we arrived, and we were a bit apprehensive as there was nobody in the reception area. However, the barman registered us in and took us to our room. Nice room with all the usual facilities and our evening meal (we booked 1/2 board) was very nice with huge portions. Reasonable choice & a menu printed in English for us. Breakfast was also good -- from memory I recall having a toasted cheese and ham bocadillo as part of it. Really gvfm - an ideal location.

La relación calidad - precio y la facilidad de acceso. También el regalo de una caja de polvorones y mantecados por parte del Hotel.

A pesar de estar en una estacion de servicio,ha resultado muy tranquilo y comodo.

Service vraiment minimal, petit déjeuner pauvre, télévision déficiente. Absence de personnel.

Sólo estuvimos una noche, y lo elegimos por su ubicación. Fácil acceso, la habitación limpia y cómoda, con wifi y parking.

El día que estuvimos el hotel estaba lleno, y el recepcionista tenía que atender los desayunos también, por lo que tuvimos que esperar bastante para dejar la habitación. Por lo demás, la estancia fue estupenda.

Bien, pero podría tener desayuno incluido en el precio.

Cnd stas dentro del hotel no parece un hotel de carretera, está muy bien equipado y lo mejor es el personal, muy cercano y atento. Viajé con un dálmata y no tuve problema alguno. Está muy bien comunicado cn el pueblo de Estepa y la salidad a Puente Genil tb.

El personal de recepción del hotel inexistente, a la entrada y a la salida, tuvimos que pagar en la cafetería ya que no se presentaba nadie. Consejo: vayan con tiempo a hacer el check-out

The hotel was new very clean and well equipped. Free wifi was available in the room. Being adjacent to the Auto Via made it very accessible. Unfortunately we had been to Estepa before, didn't follow the direction instructions and then had to ask directions from a couple of people before we found it!

The hotel is adjoined to a cafe and restaurant and we had to go through the restaurant and get directions to the reception area as the hotel entrance was closed.We were fortunate that the receptionist was on duty as the desk was not manned at any other time during our stay and it appeared that we were the only residents in the entire hotel. The lift was not working so we had to climb the stairs with our luggage.In the afternoon we went into Estepa and on our return the reception and the restaurant doors were locked. Fortunately some Spanish people called us when they found that the cafe entrance was open. In the evening we went down to the restaurant at 19.30 and were told it was closed. We tried to ask if the cafe door would be open when we returned but our spanish was not good enough to understand the reply. After eating in Estepa we returned at around 21.30 to find the cafe too was now closed although it stated on the door it was open until midnight. Fortunately a memeber of staff was still there and let us in when we showed him our room key.In the morning our breakfast consisted of a toasted roll, some cheese and a cup of coffee. We had to pay for an extra cup of coffee!! There was no service to speak of and not even the slightest attempt to make a non Spanish speaking person feel welcome/made aware of the procedures of the hotel. A shame really because it is such a beautiful area and the hotel is very smart and clean.
