This hotel is set just yards from Tarifa's most beautiful beach, Valdevaqueros, the best sailing and kitesurfing location in the city, and boasts a huge outdoor pool.

This traditional-style, Andalusian country mansion is just south of Los Alcornocales Nature Reserve, midway between Tarifa and Algeciras.

Globales Reina Cristina was originally opened in 1901 and houses ancient ruins, such as parts of an 8th-century mosque and a Moorish well. It features indoor and outdoor swimming pools.

Offering stylish apartments, Apartamentos Caravane is set in Tarifa’s old town and 5 minutes’ walk from the beach. It features a roof terrace and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 102 reviews Excellent
Near the main windsurfing beach and set back from the busy main road; good private parking; nice gardens and pool; (communal) terrace with sea view (we had an apartment); very clean; nice bathroom and bedroom; good facilities to dry your kit.
The hotel restaurant and bar were closed, and you had to drive or walk along a busy main road to get to a restaurant or food shop. (Tip: take a torch). Staff rather gloomy/unwelcoming. Kitchen facilities basic with cracked/worn crockery, pans and utensils.
This was such a beautiful, quiet facility! The views were awesome and the owners/employees every kind and helpful. We had a great nights sleep and enjoyed the stop immensely!
We found the facility with no problem but the long dirt driveway brought moments of questioning our decision. In the end it opened up to a beautiful oasis and all fears were relieved.
The staff and the breakfast. Location ok
A. It far out from town.
Close to the beach, nice pool, quiet and relaxing surroundings
Far from town, limited good restaurants around hotel. Not much of an atmosphere around hotel. Bad breakfast, way too expensive for what we got
Location was great
Bed a bit hard
The hotel itself was fine. There could however be much more done to greatly improve the amenities. For example there is a large terrace area with a sea view. This would make an excellent resaurant area but it isn't used!
There was nothing warm for breakfast, i.e. no boiled eggs, scrambled eggs etc only toast.
Relaxing & peaceful atmosphere
lack of variety & choice of food in restaurant
I just wanted to have a few days of vacation on a beach near Tarifa at a comfortable hotel with a nice staff, good food, and a nice pool. Hotel Dulce Nombre was an excellent choice. The hotel is run by a family that is laid back and very easy to get to know and enjoy, especially if you make an effort. Definitely pay the extra money for the breakfast, which is wonderful with a variety of choices. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
NIce view and good location, not far from Tarifa yet quiet with all the necessary facilities such as good breakfast, pool, parking, hiking, mountainbiking, windsurfing, etc
pool service parking
location views noise
GReat location close to the beach Nice Breakfast
Perfect location for kite surfing; nice casual breakfast of bread, cold cuts, cafe con leche, and orange juice; great air conditioning in the room.
Manager/owner isn't friendly, the bed sheets were limited to just a top sheet - there was a blanket folded up in the closet but it didn't appear to be washed - the manager is so unwelcoming to non Spanish speaking customers we didn't bother to ask for another bed sheet. The double bed has only one large body pillow across the headboard instead of two separate pillows.
Nice pool, clean room in natural setting.
Bar wasn't open. Other than that no complaints.
Very nice staff, great location
Beds not so comfy
Really nice from outside which we unfortunately couldnt enjoy due to the rainy weather.
The fact that a fully equipped kitchen didn't have a single knife nor washing up liquid. Our one bedroom apartman was really tiny and was more like a studio with the kitchen in the entrance. I have found out that they had superior apartments too which didnt come on the website or at least i dont remember. But taking into consideration that we were the only ones around that rainy weekend i would have given a better room to ourselves. And ours was the darkest too with the window on the side - not like the others. Wifi didnt work in the room. Bathtub was really tiny too. Oh and got problems with the water pressure too. Had to flush the toilet like 5 times so that the **** is gone. For same reason i couldnt wash my hair all weekend because there wasnt enough pressure to switch to shower - or i needed to use both hands to keep to water coming from the top. Really annoying. Didnt worth money.
