Staff were extremely friendly (especially Victor whose smile made women go weak at the knees), wide choice of food, hotel spa was superb, large rooms, sea views from every room.

Paying full price for teenagers who weren't drinking they should have been allowed free ice cream, instead little pots set aside for all inclusive guests were cheap and let down the overall high standards of this superb hotel.

Decent gym. Lots of good food. Service/ staff are very helpful.

Buffet style food. A lot of the food is luke warm, although they do have frehsly prepared options and if you tell them something is cold they will make something fresh for you. Staff are very helpful!

Pretty much everything. Very enjoyable stay. Thank you. Expensive but worth it .

Too much information at reception on arrivals re towels free drinks etc. Too tired after journey all we wanted was key and room. All other info could wait till next day. We had enough baggage without taking beach towels as well and a bundle of literature. Maybe free water with evening meal similar to breakfast and free tea and coffee in restaurant or other bar would be nice. It seems a little small minded after paying over 2000 eur to pay for a drink of water.

Wonderful hotel with very friendly Staff. The location and outlook were amazing. Very comfortable and relaxing hotel/pool. Beach was very close and very nice too - would most definitely return for another stay.

I did not rate the Spa, expensive and the treatments I had were dissappointing.

Everything was excellent, the only thing to improve is the quality of coffee, no espresso kind of coffee was available in the hotel.

The food was very delicious. Everything was clean, the very nice and clean swimmingpoolarea. The frienliness of the staff.

The hotel location was very good, right on the beach.

Some of the staff were at times rude and unprofessional when we ran into problems ( which happened numerous times on our holiday here). They were not helpful when requesting assistance and were only too quick to demand money from you. Very poor attitudes and because of this I would not recommend this hotel or stay there again myself.

Bar is quiet

The staff were incredible. They were helpful, kind, friendly but professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. The facilities were brilliant, the spa was great and the infinity pool was just wonderful. Would go there again.

Take a kettle and a plastic mug if you want a cuppa. They only have a coffee machine and all restaurants give you a little cup of tea.

Not good value for money , we payed 900 euro for half board and only got one complamentrey bottle of water, room had a cockroach in it.room was outdated even though it was a suite overall not happy and would not return .

This was our first time to Gran Caneria and we loved every bit of our stay. Gloria palace is a beautiful hotel with amazing views. The infinity pool was gorgeous. Its right accross the road from a man made beach. The staff in the hotel were so helpful and pleasant. Before I booked Gloria Palace I looked at the reviews, a few people complained about the lack of choice at the breakfast and dinner buffets-I could not find any fault with the food in this hotel. You would want to be a very fussy person if nothing at the buffet took your fancy!! The hotel rooms were spacious with a big balcony, it had a fridge, sink, knives and forks so it was very handy if your wanted to have a drink on the balcony in the evening or just to leave a snack in it for later. Myself and my boyfriend really enjoyed every minute of our stay.....we would recommend it to anybody wanting a relaxing holiday.

Gran Caneria is a very hilly place and unfortunately Gloria Palace is located up a bit of a hill.

Staff very friendly, available for questions, directions, advice, lovely greetings from the restaurant staff: in morning at breakfast or later for lunch or dinner. Watch the portions as you either help yourself or are assisted by the cooks and chefs who are obviously proud of their work and give you lots on your plate: if you let them - and I did. A clean room with sea view, tranquility, little noise, relaxing in the bars and near the pool. Observed a very friendly and tolerant attitude to the children and the kids I saw staying there. Lots of other friendly guests prepared to share a greeting in many languages. All in all a wonderful holiday, helped by the great location, the nearness to bus-stops or a taxi with a reasonable fare, or sea trips.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities were clean and the pools and spa were what we needed for a relaxing holiday. The evening entertainment was great. The views were amazing!!!

Everything was great, no bad comments.

Unbelivable hotel. The staff is extrordinary friendly and helpfull. The rooms are spacious with a large bathroom, an even larger bedroom/livingroom and a decent sized terrace. The view from the hotel is amazing, be it from your own terrace, the buffet or from one of the pool areas. At both the upper and the lower (infinity pool) areas you are able to order food/drink from a bar/restaurant. There are activities every day from 11:00 and every hour untill 17.00, billiard, ping pong, watergym, aquabingo etc. very funny. Some times the participants get to share a bottle of bubbles just for joining in at the end. There is also a fairly big spa that one can use free of charge. The buffet. Astonishing. We were there 14 days, and there was always something new, and what was served was always delicious. Highly recomended!

It was a fantastic hotel in every way.

Rooms were big and had fridge, microwave, and dishes which allowed you the facility of eating a light supper if on occasion you did not want big evening meal. Variety of entertainment to suit most people. Piano playing in lounge and singer for short time some evenings very relaxing.

I liked the location of the Hotel with its fantastic views of Amadoras Beach , the staff are very helpful and courteous the Hotel location is on the face of a Mountain away from any Commercial noise.

The beds are all singles and are put togther to make a double beds. I would rate the breakfast 5 out of 10 for taste and variety.

No wifi in rooms have to pay for a safety box...most 3 stars give this for free buffet breakfast was 6/10, some of the 'hot' food was cold and cremated (bacon) beds not very comfortable, felt like sleeping on a hill!

Relaxing atmosphere, delicious food, excallent location. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for perfect holiday :)

Mycket bra hotell. Rekomenderar varmt till alla. Amadores strand är mycket fin. Hotellet har 2 fina utomhus pooler och en fin inomhus pool med uppvärmd havsvatten. Maten är varierande. Personal är mycket hjälpsam och trevlig.
