The majority of guests are age 60-70+, which was a little surprising. For a four star hotel the food and the comfort were clearly inferior. We booked half-board, and really tried out the breakfast and dinner buffet and did not leave the meals hungry, which is the most positive I can say.
The beds were made up with some kind of protective plastic stuff beneath the bedsheats, which breaths less and is not comfortable. Our advice is to remove these from the beds before going to sleep... (Has this been done because of the age of the most frequent guests??)
The hotel has a fantastic location right on the beach in San Augustine. It is a raher quiet place, but still close to supermarkets, some restaurants. Only a quick taxi drive to Playa del Ingles for a larger selection of offers.
The personell were very polite and helpful, all of them from the reception to the ones in the restaurant, but for the pool dude (he behaved like he wanted another job).
