Dunas Suite & Villas Resort  

We had a nice room close to the pool with flatscreen tv and nice living room. Nice terrace (but with no sun) Nice bathroom with white stone interior and both tub and shower. We got a free room upgrade. Nice pools, two of them heated including childrens pool. Big hotel area with nice playground and 7 different pools. 10 mins walk to beach along the nature reserve sand dunes. Gardens well kept. Very good kids club with a Swedish teacher! Very much appreciated! Quite good breakfast and dinner. Big selection of food (but also a lot not in our taste). First days nice meat (entrecote etc). Possible the change dinner for lunch with half board. Close to bus stop for public airport bus. Nice welcome fruit juices in lobby.

The furniture in the living room actually got replaced all over the hotel the week we stayed. The sofa in our room was very dirty and smelly until we got the change almost last day. Not so nice. Every thing needs a deposit (remote, pool towels etc) which felt not luxury at all. Sun beds needs to be replaced ( around some pool areas already replaced). The green decor in the bedrooms and some pastel colors around the resturant needs to be replaced to give the hotel more 4 star feeling. Wifi not free in the lobby, even the luggage scale you have to pay if want to use it. Unlocked luggage room didnt feel very safe. Service in lobby with bus tables showed outdated information. The bigger pools you see on the pictures could be heated or at least the jacuzzi which was very very cold. Some other hotels have not heated pools at all so we were happy anyhow. Quite hard beds (which we actually like). Not comfortable pillows. As a swede you miss påslakan (Sheets all around the quilt).

Everything fine (even if not absolute top) and very good value for money (at least compared with the hotels just a few minutes closer to the beach / dunes / lighthouse area)

Very good food, exellent restaurant staff, strange people in reception. The hotel should inform at the site that you must pay for the stay at the check in moment. Pleasant surprices at the st.Valentine day!

We were happy with the location, accommodation and friendly staff.

We were not happy that our room, which had been reserved three months in advance, was overbooked and therefore we had to stay in another hotel the first night. On a seven day family holiday with a four- month baby that means that we lost one day of our vacation. Above all checking in and out of hotels when travelling as a family requires a lot more energy than when travelling as individuals without children. If overbooking occurs then families with children should not be the ones who need to stay in another hotel.

Free car parking, location and special offer price were the main reasons why we selected this hotel. Hotel with its gardens is beautiful. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. Birthday gift from a hotel was a pleasant surprise. I would like to stay at this hotel again sometime.

Free Wi-Fi is only available at the backside of the hotel (it is other hotel actually). Mosquitoes can be a problem if you left the window open for a long time. One cockroach was also detected in the bathroom. Weak noise isolation from the outside - noisy neighbours can bother you at night. All these facts actually weren't are big problem and can be solved, and we had an excellent vacation.

Non è il solito casermone tipico delle canarie,è composto da bungalow immersi in giardini abbastanza curati,sono tutti bilocali con camera da letto (purtoppo sempre con due letti singoli uniti) ed altra stanza con divanetto e tv (nessun canale italiano) . Chiamarli suite forse è un po' troppo visto che I locali sono abbastanza spartani ed il bagno avrebbe bisogno di essere ristrutturato. Il personale è sempre sorridente e disponibile. E' vicino (10 minuti a piedi) dal lungomare di Maspalomas con lue splendide dune ed il suggestivo lungomare sicuramente il posto piu' bello di Gran canaria.

Ci sono molti punti che dovrebbero migliorare: le piscine immerse nel verde sono capienti e non si fa fatica a trovare I lettini, ma sono letteralmente infestate da bambini che urlano,si picchiano,piangono si tuffano bagnando tutti intorno,senza che nessuno della direzione controlli (ci sono solo dei cartelli di divieto,ma non c'è assistente) e soprattutto nella assoluta non curanza ed ignoranza dei loro genitori. La cucina è di grande quantita' ma di bassissima qualita',il condizionatore della camera era molto vetusto e poco efficiciente anche se alle Canarie difficilmente fa caldissimo .

Zu viele Kinder

La tranquilidad para descansar está muy bien,siempre y cuando no te toque en la zona de la discoteca,pero yo solicite cambiarme y sin ningún problema me ubicaron en una zona tranquila.

La musica en la piscina,pero me mude a otra y genial

Bella e comoda la struttura e la posizione vicino alle dune, ho apprezzato molto la tranquillità del posto, la pulizia e il rispetto per l'ambiente.
