Hotel Eguren Ugarte    

The setting is lovely, surrounded by vineyards and mountains. The hotel is only two years old, very well designed. The rooms are part of the winery. The hallways overlook the oak kegs where the wine is aged. The tour is very interesting and wine tasting quite informative.

Rather expensive

The entire stay was amazing but the staff, really are what made the trip. They went above and beyond. The hotel is also very lovely and comfortable. We enjoy the breakfast that was included in our stay. It was delicious and the dinning room was located in such a way that let us enjoy the amazing view of the moutains and vineyards.

Location in the heart of the Rioja vineyards, within a winery (bodega). Free wifi, restuarant on site, fair breakfast (served at table).

Restuarant was rather expensive and food was gourmet style and quite rich

Absolutely everything. Fabulous location overlooking the vineyards. Breakfast or evening meals with a wonderful view. Room was superb with every facility - including an amazing shower. A wonderful hotel to stay at. Couldn't be bettered.

Breakfast is amazing, bedrooms are amazing, bathrooms were the best we've ever seen - there is a marble slab to sit on while you have a shower! The winery itself is nice, you can do a tour of the place just book in advance, and wineries of other places in the region. Its close to laguardia, which is where shops etc are. There were free drinks in the fridge and an amazing view of the winery (must get a bvalcony!)which is very serene if you sit there with a bottle of wine at the end of the day.

The breakfast dining place is very stiff in the morning and has awkward mood music... But what can you do. Not much !

Spectacular location and views and a designer oriented building. Well intentioned staff and a warm welcome

Tragically, the dinner was catastrophic. The staff were receiving some form of introduction when we arrived. We were expecting a gourmet experience for dinner but the kitchen and chef were incompetent. The menu was from a gourmet chef but there was no understanding of even simple principles of cooking. We had cod that was mostly raw. When we sent it back it was returned singed as by a blow lamp but still raw. We sent it back again with no improvement. The beef cheek course requires long slow cooking which it did not receive, It tasted rank and we had to leave it. A sorbet dish was entirely melted. The management was distraught and did not charge us for the meal. I sincerely hope that they very quickly resolve the dreadful catering problems of an otherwise delightful establishment. Reception staff tried hard to give a good and welcoming impression.

Very nice and friendly

Setting in the winery, beautiful scenery looking over the vineyards to the mountains from the room and restaurant. Winery tour unique with the caves which was excellent. Receptionist/Dinner waitress Eva Mangado, excellent customer service by this member of the team who made our stay at the hotel very pleasant. Dinner was very good although limited choice of menu, explained and served very professionally by Eva accompanied by estate wines which we enjoyed.

Could not say there was anything we did not like.

Wonderful Tour of their Winery and excellent views...but 30 minutes from the center of bodega hopping. However, we loved it! Excellent breakfast and best shower ever!

Das Weingut und das Hotel verschmelzen. Super Küche! Die Aussicht vom Zimmer und vom Restaurant sind überwältigend. Der Umgang mit den Gästen ist sehr persönlich und freundlich.

Muy buena relación calidad precio. La habitacion con terraza al viñedo con una botellita de vino para degustar, un placer. Paseos por pistas entre viñedos hasta un pueblito cercano. La bodega preciosa. La guardia a cinco minutos en coche. Muy agradable todo

El diseño del hotel muy bonito,al igual que el entorno. Al estar en la propia bodega le da un aire mas interesante al hotel. Ademas se puede visitar la bodega que es muy interesante

Las excelentes vistas a los viñedos, la increíble localización del hotel, con sus bodegas propias, su ascensor con vistas, las habitaciones modernas y bien diseñadas y los detalles en las mismas.

La parte de arriba estaba en obras y no pudimos disfrutar de las vistas que desde ahí podríamos haber divisado, pero el resto del hotel, en su mayoría, lo compensaba todo.

El hotel es muy acogedor, el personal agradable y la gastronomia del hotel estupenda. Hemos estado igual que en casa.

En general, todo respondió a las expectativas. Gastronomía perfecta y atención personal muy buena.

Donde está situado,y la tranquilidad con la que se está allí. Un lugar privilegiado.

El desayuno un poco escaso, no podíamos cenar a la llegada.

El entorno, la habitacion era en la ultima planta tenia vistas excelentes de las viñas, la amabilidad y predisposicion del personal del hotel.
