Score from 1181 reviews Very good
Right in the center of town, spotless clean and very well organized.
Pretty expensive, being a hostel. No atmosphere, or, rather, a very impersonal atmosphere. The walls are paper like, I could hear everything the girls in the other room said, but luckily I got to sleep well.
+clean rooms +newly refurbished +supernice and helpfull staff +perfect localizaton +very modern +quiet
-WiFi didn't work in my room
The staff was really helpful, the most of all did Naiara and another girl, those nice girls which gave us a lot of information and provided help. The kitchen was well equipped and clean.
The worst of personal was a young man on reception, absolutely lazy and useless. I asked him to solve the problem in shower, but he even haven't taken a look during full day. His colleague , nice girl, solved this problem just in 5 min after i asked for help.
Staff spoke good English (in the town the people don't, though!) and was very helpful. Clean rooms, soft beds, great bathroom. Excellent location right in the bustling heart of the old town with lots of pintxos bars and good atmosphere. No noise from the street (it's at the end of the busy part). Lovely little town.
The wifi only connected at the reception and in the common room. For the price you pay per night I would expect proper wifi in the rooms. No breakfast, but you can bring/prepare your own in the kitchen. Apart from being a good place to stay it is not the kind of hostel to really meet and socialize with new people; the common room was always empty and apart from me and another girl there seemed to be only families staying here. But maybe it was not a busy time.
Comfortable beds, good location
Expensive and no wifi in rooms
- an equipped kitchen, always in good condition taking into account that the hostel received a group of seventy pupils. - wi-fi worked even on the third floor. sound isolation was tolerable (though not in the bathroom) - No curfew (You have your card with which you may open the entrance door)
- No one told me that the hostel will be receiving a large group of school pupils (that meant that I couldn't access the kitchen at certain periods of time, so, a general advice would be to ask by email about some "contigencies" like that in advance) - It required some time for the water in the shower to become hot enough I lived in a room for 6 people, it might be larger.
The room was clean, good WiFi, good facilities.
No cafe even linked - difficult to find breakfast. Also, half assumed I'd be in a girls only dorm. Bit irritated, lucky only 1 other girl.
Location: in the old center, next to the cathedral, however in the room I didn't hear the rumor from the bars around. I was alone, my window facing the cathedral and I had a beautiful morning view! Comfort: it seemed new, very clean, the bathroom was in perfect condition. Warm room.Clean sheets provided. Comfortable bed. Lockers for the luggage.
Be careful to arrive in the reception hours or to warn the staff for your late arrival.
Room very warm and clean. Very good location and very new hostel facilities.
Mattress is too soft. There wasn't any hairdryer. No breakfast included.
