Apartamentos El Almez    

Loved it, especially the stunning view from our roof terrace. George was really helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Wifi didn't work in either apartment, it said 'out of range', so had to sit at the bottom of the stairs outside the office to get a signal. Also we had to wait about half an hour to be let in on arrival, even though we had rung an hour in advance as requested.

Great location and attractive building. Staff were very accommodating in that they let us register two hours earlier than normal as the apartment was ready. Given that we had arrived in Granada by public transport, this was a big bonus to us and a great welcome. The view from the roof terrace across to the Alhambra is stunning and to watch the colours of the walls change at sunset followed by the night time floodlighting...magic!

Loved the location, the history of the building, the cosy room, with everything we needed to cook at home. We were close to everything, and the owners of the building were available to assistant when required.

There was some noisy building going on next door- but that was unavoidable and will be completed soon enough.

Location could not be better. The outstanding feature is the private roof top terrace with fantastic views of the Alhambra.

Could be better equipped and furnished. Shower room needs renovating.

The apartment is very cozy and clean. It was possible to cook very simple things. The location is very quiet. Very nice ancient building with a nice decoration (mozarab-style).

A bit small for a family of 5 with 3 teenager girls, especially the bathroom.

Location, amenities, well-stocked with towels and bedding, "welcome" basket, coffee, tea, milk, hair dryer, unique decor, WIFI--we had a wonderful visit and would recommend El Almez to families visiting beautiful Granada!

The apartment is very beautiful and romantic in our point of view. We stayed there just be fore Xmas, nice and cozy. It is not far from the restaurant area and the entrance street to Alhambra. We stayed on the third floor, the room is fully equipped with kitchenware so we can prepare the baby food, and where you can see some part of Alhambra from your window.

The bath room is to small for family with a small baby, 6-month old, like us, but we can manage to give her a bath. Apart from that everything is fine.

Great location - very close to the Albaczin and Alhambra only about 15 minute walk away. Great instructions prior to arrival. Lovely moorish design and furnishings.

The apartment was quite dark.

It was a pleasant experience: location is outstanding (small street just 3-4 minutes walk from old city center), ancient building with nicely decorated apartments just creates old days feeling. The host - Natalya is really helpful and friendly person. No issues with check in / check out. Good place to stay, feels like home… and thanks for delicious tea!

I loved the welcome we received from Elena and how friendly everyone was! The apartment was lovely and fully equipped in the best location for our stay. We had some beauiful rooms and also wifi internet so we ddin't need anything during our stay and the food quarters of Albaycin were but a short walk away! I can't wait to go back and would stay at El Almez time and time again :)

Lack of windows that makes the apartment a little stufffy but that didn't really affect our stay in these gorgeous apartments!

Excellent location and very nice ambiance. We had a six persons apartment and I think when you are really with six people it is way too small. We where with 4 people and that is ok.

For the summer it is a shame that there isn't a real air conditioner, as it got very hot in the sleeping room. There was a ventilator that helped a bit, but it worked for only two hours and then the timer must be reset, not very handy when you are a sleep.

The location is perfect and the house is amazing. It is authentic 16th century family home converted into a couple of units with all the modern amenities and old world charm perfectly balanced. Four of us stayed in a two bedroom and had coffee on the terrace/garden in the morning and watched the sun shine on the Alhambra across the river. The house has a typical court yard and the garden with trellis was beautiful...what can I say-it was wonderful!!!! I took many pictures of the house it was so special. Elizabeth

The location couldn't be better, right in the ancient Arabic quarter, steps away from restaurants, shops and alhambra views. Very old and scenic street and building. Cozy and comfortable. Quiet night's sleep. Arabic tea greeting us was a very nice touch.

My husband and I like the location - 30 minutes walk to Alhambra and 5-10 minutes to eateries and shops. From where we were (helps that our room had access to the rooftop), we were able to see Alhambra, a beautiful sight especially during sunset.

The apartment does not have an elevator so travelers with heavy luggage (like us), be prepared to carry those load up flights of stairs (depending on which type of rooms you book).

Located in the old Arab quarter of Granada, and accommodation is authentic. Amazing view of Alhambra especially at night. Close to shops, restaurants etc, and owner very helpful re parking. Apartment well fitted out.

Could be a bit noisy in the evening from motorbikes going along an adjoining lane way. Taxi would not attempt access so we had to drag our cases along the cobblestones to get to the apartment. Need to be prepared for this.

Although the apartments don't have a reception, we really didn't feel the need for one. Centrally located

There was no lift facility available. This was not specified anywhere while booking. The staircase was too steep and narrow. We found it difficult to carry our luggage up and down. Also the elder members of the family found it difficult without a lift. Please try including this information too while booking. This one is a really old construction with low roofs, which sometimes gives a cramped feeling, however, done up very well and comfortable. Located in a by-lane where cabs normally don't want to go. So you have a steep walk of about 300m to reach to this place.
