The apartment was very nice and very much in the centre of things. An option for those who like to stay up late. The staff were very helpful in sorting out any problems.
Francis was very helpful for everything we requested....almost on call day and night.....I really did not mind that the aircon broke down since it was not very warm, but I hope this will not happen during the peak of summer
We had the bad fortune of having hail stones during our stay in October and the whole apartment became flooded with water due to lack of proper drainage outside.
Location was excellent. I was traveling with a small dog and it was perfect for us. The owner met us and showed us map of surrounding area. There are not any real dislikes. However, if driving I recommend calling owner ahead of time to arrange parking. He tell you exactly where to park....and it is close!
location, cleaniness and very helpful owner. Francis does not speak much english, but we managed communications well wtih google translator. He helped me booked taxi and flamenco show, and showed me the way to St. Nicolas Plaza which is a perfect spot for the city view and Alahambro.
not exactly a quiet neighbourhood, with noisy guests in the bar next door and some angry and loud dogs barking all the time.
Location is good. Very close to St Nicolas and Crystobal viewpoints. 20 mins walk to Alhambra and also city center. Pretty new and clean.
Beds are really small. It was called a twin bed but it was even too small for two small Asian girls. And whenever anyone of us moved, the bed made noises. I ended up lying on the cough, a two-men sofa, for two nights, and it was really really uncomfortable that I didn't have much sleep those nights.
The location, good places to eat close by. Bus service into Granada in 5 minutes, 15 mins walk.
The owner was a lovely man who met us as pre arranged and made sure we knew how everything worked. The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable and shower was good. It is in a lovely part of the Albaycin, bustling during the day. Good bars and shops nearby.
The place itself is nice and cosy, mine was one bedroom with kitchen/living room and decent size bathroom. Secure location with good internet and tons of places to eat (when you discover what time they open!). Overall very impressed with the place and Francis who came and met me in town and gave ma quick overview of everything. Can get underground car parking nearby for a reasonable 10 euros a day. Taxi to centre is 5/6 euros. What I did was walk downhill and get a taxi back. There's also the C1 bus which stops nearby.
My room was ground floor with no balcony and felt a bit dark. Looking at the photos I expected a terrace or balcony but that must be in another room. Difficult to drive to and impossible to find so you have to call Francis who is extremely helpful and efficient. Not for nervous drivers, in fact dont bring a car unless you have to. If youre driving some of the streets are private or even not wide enough for a car. Look out for a sign that says "Physically Impossible Entry" and believe what it says. Bike is a much better option in Grenada.
The apartment was right in the heart of Albacin so central to all the places we wanted to visit. Great value for money, gorgeous 2 bedrooms & lovely private terrace for relaxing with a glass of wine. Owner met us when we arrived & was very helpful & friendly, he gave us loads of tips for Granada. Would only stay here next time.
Superb facilities and Francis the owner went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed and to orientate us. Well equipped kitchen.
We stayed on the ground floor which was a bit noisy from the street outside between about 10.30 pm to midnight but thats the Spanish way of life, rather than the apartment
Very helpful owner - though his English is very basic, he perfectly manages - with the help of smiles, jestures and also modern technologies using iphone and google )) The place is located in Albaicin area, which is very nice and traditional Andalusian style, with 20 min walking distance to Alhambra and same to the city centre. Rooms are clean and well equipped, nothing really to complain! The parking lot is close by (150 m walk max)
If open the windows - might be rather noisy at late evening and night from the closeby outlets
The owner Francis is extremely helpful and friendly. It was easy to find and right in the heart of the old city. Perfect
Thanks for lovely stay in Granada, a warm welcome and fantastic location right in the beautiful windy streets, with greatcafes and restaurants in a few minutes walk, and city centre just down the hill. We walked to the Alhambra and enjoyed the many catmfes for breaks from the heat. Facilities great for families with a kitchen and wifi.
Everything, the location was good, the apartment had everything we needed. The owner was most helpful on our arrival, and very obliging. We would definitely stay there again.
Nothing to dislike.
fully equipped kitchen ware, good bathroom ware and air-conditioning
Great location - you can go everywhere on foot. A walk to the Cathedral takes no more than 15 minutes. The apartment is excellent - clean, with all the facilities you need during your stay, the beds are extremely comfy. The owner is especially deserving of credit - he was more than helpful and extremely friendly.
Great location out of the main tourist area. Francis was very helpful when he met us at the apartment, helped us park the car, and had someone available to translate the apartment information and tourist info.
First night was a Saturday night and the bar next door and traffic was a bit noisy - however next night was much quieter.
The owner went out of his way to help. The flat was very clean and the terrace was fantastic.
When we arrived the apartment we booked was not available because of a problem with the water heater in the bathroom. The owner did gives us suitable alternate accomodation nearby.
The area, the owner(very helpful),the city, very nice apt. Lots of eating choices near by, but also shops, market and bakery if you want to do your own cooking. If you like to walk and discover something new around each corner this is the place for you.
That a lot of locals did not pick up after their dogs. The internet signal was sometimes to weak to use, but go out and see something instead.
The apartments are very convenient for exploring the Albaicin quarter and there are a number of restaurants and shops very close by. The price is very reasonable.
In the apartment we stayed in there was nowhere to sit outside to enjoy the view or an evening drink. other apartments did have this facility.
The location was great to explore the area , the owner was helpful and very pleasant, and the accommodation was clean and nice , enjoyed our experience of being there.
Parking was a little problem but you would expect that being in the old town.
The owner/manager was very helpful and came immediately when we called telling him we had arrived. He and his son gave us good recommendations on places to eat and how to get around the city. The accommodation was clean and had everything you need for self catering.
Situated in a small square, it was difficult to find using our GPS because of narrow streets and buildings which blocked the satellite signals. I'd make sure I had a detailed street map next time.
We enjoyed staying in the "attic" apartment. Owner let is in early and had nearby secure parking for the bike 10 euros a night. Remember to contact him before arrival as the door to the apartments is locked at all times. He stays nearby.
Restaurants in vicinity are not all customer-focused, typical of tourist areas.
The apartment is well maintained. Only disadvantage, there is no lift. Very comfortable beds.
Wi-fi is very poor. Pillow is too soft.
Excellent location (as long as you don't mind climbing the hill!), friendly owner, great base to explore the city. Apartment was well equipped.
The apartment we rented was slightly noisy at times because of the nearby cafes in the square- this didn't bother us overly but worth bearing in mind if you want to go to bed early.
