Laroles is in the Sierra Nevada at around 1400 metres.
Laroles is in the Sierra Nevada at around 1400 metres. From here you can access some of the best walking and hiking trails for all levels. Close by are many typical small Alpujarra villages that are very quaint and picturesque. Food and drink including local wines and ham is a must.

After all day long on my bike, he offered me to wash my cycling clothes, he prepared for me a dellicious high-protein dinner :-) and he also helped me to find a local taxi to get me back to the mountains next day.
