Unbelievably friendlyI Felix the owner, an experienced traveller himself, helped us with all our needs, an expert in the area, seemed to know every detail about the History and Culture of the Andalucia region ! Personalized every detail of our one day stay ! Breakfast is unbelievable !
The fabulous room with huge king size bed, fireplace, bathrobes, slippers and lots of space. Outside the magnificent view of the mountains. Felix and his wife are perfect hosts.
It seems a huge missed oppurtunity not to offer dinner. Guests who are not familiar with the mountains are faced with a 5km drive to the nearest town, and back along some hair raising roads in the dark. The kitchen iscertainly capable of a simple meal as the breakfast was superb.
Encarta and Félix are charming Encarta's cakes are delicious Great views Lots of places on the property where you can get great views and just relax
Nothing Need to note the travel directions - IE through Trevelez then turn at the 39. 5 Km mark
It is the ideal place for a few days in the Sierra Nevada. The place is very nice and the owners are fantastic. The rooms are very large with a balcony, and with mountain view, everything is very carefully chosen, and the pictures shown by Felix during breakfast are really beautiful, in a great atmosphere. A big thank you to Encarna and Felix!
Beautiful setting in the mountains and lovely room, spacious, tastefully decorated with a large sitting area and good sized bathroom. Encarna and Felix, the owners, were considerate, kind and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay thoroughly enjoyable, eg advice on local walks, delicious food extras etc.
No provision of evening meals meant you had the 10 minute drive into Trevelez to eat. However, we were invited to bring our own food and eat in the dining room at the hotel and we did so a couple of nights.
Felix made us totally welcome, even though we shared no common language. The room was spotless and very well designed and appointed. So was the breakfast area. A good base from which to explore the Alpujarras.
Hard to find. I had to ask a couple of shopkeepers and guardia civil (and I speak no Spanish). Need better instructions.
very helpful staff, knew the area and helped us have a great time there
