We have stayed at the Castle on numerous occasions during the past 20 years and it has always been the same. The staff are fantastic and the Gourmet Restaurant and wine list are excellent. During the last 20 years the Castle has stayed the same whereas many other hotels have caught up and it has been overtaken. It is in a time warp and looks a bit tired and the bathrooms especially could do with a complete face lift, but everything works. So some might say why change it ?

The staff, rooms and pool are first class. It is what you would expect of a Relais & Chateaux. We found the dinner a bit formal and the menu not exciting. Breakfast was winderful.

A nice bit of luxury on our travels, we were able to enjoy dinner and breakfast outside on the terrace which was a lovely setting. The food was good but not mind blowing.

The staff at the hotel were fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was very good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Not always being able to get a sun bed around the pool outside. It could and did get very busy.

Went to La Seu D'urgell with my 15 year old son for a long weekend of mountain biking and white water rafting. El Castell De Ciutat was a great choice for our stay. Great location, wonderful views. Hot tub and pool were put to good use. Impeccable service. Friendly, helpful staff. Everyone spoke English, which, as an ignorant American, always makes things easier. I plan on returning with my wife for a spa weekend in the winter.

Tot perfecte !! El tracte personal excepcional i les instal.lacions a l´alçada de la resta. El spa fantàstic i la vista al Cadí nevat desde el jacuzzi exterior " de fàbula". Potser l´esmorçar una mica "just" comparant amb hotels de semblant categoria, pero en general correcte.

Интерьер номера, неплохой завтрак, расположение отеля удобно для посещения лыжных курортов и туристических мест. Хорошая зона Спа, утром можно с удовольствием поплавать в большом бассейне с небольшим количеством народа и посетить хамам Если в прошлом году после посещения отеля у меня остались воспоминания о нем как о самом гостеприимном, то в этом раз мое мнение поменялось. Менеджер на ресепшен устроила мне настоящий допрос с пристрастием, отчего мы не идем на новогодний ужин (стоимость 250 евро на человека, причем такой ужин в Испании сводится к серьезному застолью, наши русские новогодние столы с оливье в сравнении с ним - просто аперитив). Мой ответ о невозможности участия ее не удовлетворил, но от ужина нас освободили. Было чувство, что учитель тебе выговаривает о не выученных уроках. В номере очень громко слышен спуск воды из санузла верхнего номера, как будто водопад обрушился на стены. Пол в ванной очень холодный. Номерной фонд требует ремонта.

L'hotel el Castell de ciutat est idéalement situé dans le coeur des pyrénées, à quelques km de la Principauté d'Andorre. avec une vue panoramique sur les montagnes et la ville de la Seu d'Urgell. L'accueil est parfait, les chambres confortables. Il reigne dans cet établissement une atmosphère de bien être. Les jardins sont superbes et l'hotel s'intègre parfaitement dans cet ensemble architectural dy XVIème siécle. Un lieu exceptionnel qui nous manque déjà.

Nos ha gustado todo. Desde el trato del personal del hotel, la terraza para disfrutar del desayuno y snack hasta las facilidades para usar el SPA con los albornoces y zapatillas a disposición. En el precio nos incluían el mini bar y el desayuno en la habitación. El menú es espectacular y muy bien presentado junto a un comedor perfectamente cuidado. Las habitaciones son muy grandes y cómodas, camas grandes y doble almohada. Nosotros estuvimos en la abuhardillada sin terraza y las vistas son espectaculares. Además despertarte con la música que mas te guste es posible gracias al radio cd despertador que hay en las habitaciones. En resumen Espectacular, de 10. La única nota a indicar en este apartado, al menos en nuestra habitación, la calidad de imagen de la televisión. Colores irreales y muy saturados e imagen poco nítida. Pero quien quiere televisión cuando se puede disfrutar del entorno natural, de las actividades que el hotel ofrece y del SPA.
