Hotel El Cid  

Excellent views, good breafast, good location within the historic village. Rustic location and appearance but modern rooms. Already plan to stay again in the same hotel in September.

Wifi did not work in the room on the higher floors but worked in all public rooms and bedrooms on the lower floors.

Ideal if travelling through. Location was good.

The beds were uncomfortable.

This was our third stay at this hotel and can only say that the quality has declined. Had a bit of a hassle actually booking in even though had previously booked through Booking.com. My gripes are listed in the next section but I think we were probably the only people staying and the management appeared disinterested to say the least. We shall certainly not be staying at this hotel again and have looked out two other possibilities in Morella. Morella is a beautiful hill top town and well worth a visit providing a good hotel can be found.

Several poor aspects of this hotel. 1. The restaurant was closed even though the tables were all laid out. We had to eat dinner in the bar which was very noisy with a television blaring directly behind us. 2. The "menu" was hand scribbled on a tiny piece of paper. 3. Quality of the food was very poor. I had pork which was floating in fat and unfortunately this splashed all over a clean shirt. 4. Breakfast is normally a self service buffet and has been good here in past years. However, I had to remind the staff twice that we were waiting. Nothing had been laid out and eventually a very mediocre plate of poor quality food appeared with no choice.

Great location, great view, small but comfortable room with a balcony, great value for money.

El trato. La comida. La situación.

Respondió perfectamente a las necesidades concretas que teníamos para esas fechas en cuanto a situación y relación calidad-precio. Muy cómodo.

Las vistas y la ubicacion, al lado de la Puerta de San Mateo y la muralla de Morella.

En general todo correcto, aunque la habitacion es un poco justa de tamaño.

Esta a 10' del centro y de los monumentos importantes. El desayuno es bueno, no es Buffet pero llena. Y el plano que te dan, esta muy bien impreso.

Su ubicación tan cercana y sus vistas a la muralla y alrededores. Buen servicio y buen precio. Trato amable.

Algo de ruido en el bar de abajo. Pero supongo que era porque estaban en Fiestas...

Chambre manifestement refaite avec goût il y a peu, vue splendide sur les environs, très bon rapport qualité/prix.

Une climatisation serait bienvenue; la machinerie de l'ascenceur peut être bruyante pour certaines chambres.

Buena ubicación. Habitaciones muy buenas, pero se echa de menos el aire acondicionado en verano. Magnificas vistas.
