4-star hotel in a prime beachfront location in Marbella town. Totally refurbished in 2007.

The Hotel el Fuerte Marbella commands a superb location in the heart of Marbella. The hotel overlooks the sea and a sandy beach and is separated from the hotel only by a small promenade. A few minutes stroll will take you to the centre of Marbella and numerous shops, restaurants and places of interest are right on your doorstep.

Malaga airport is approximately 40 minutes drive away.

Situated in the heart of Marbella and surrounded by 4000m² of sub-tropical gardens, in prime first line position on the beach.

Furthermore this traditional hotel has a piano-bar, a coffee-shop and restaurant Beach Club Restaurant Grill on the beach which is specialized in fish and rice and closed in January.

In addition to the listed facilities the hotel has deck chairs, children's entertainment in July and August, a TV lounge, a paddle court and live music every day.
An aqua gym and a Turkish bath are available as well.

Restaurants:
- Restaurant El Olivo, international food, buffet breakfast and a different menu every day for dinner, air conditioning in the non-smoking area. As of April the restaurant will serve a buffet and will also have show cooking.

Winter: Monday to Sunday: 07:30 – 10:30 and 19:30 – 22:00

All the rooms to have one's disposal Deluxe beds with continental quilt and padded cover.

Area information

Considered as the capital of the Costa del Sol, Marbella has without a doubt, sufficient features for being one of the most important tourist destinations of Spain: beaches, history, leisure activities, sports, night life, luxury... Its privileged situation, at the foot of the Sierra Blanca, prime position along the coast, excellent climatic conditions and in addition a great and beautiful landscape .

Extra Activities: just a few steps from the hotel, you will find the historical centre and the shopping area. 6 km away you'll find the famous Puerto Banus with the some of the most renowned boutiques of the national and international fashion as well as a wide range places to eat and drink.

Important information

The outdoor pool is not available from 3 November until 14 December 2008. A heated, covered pool will be available during this period as well as sauna and Turkish bath in the leisure complex.

Location .

Our room was in 6th floor where there was no access for lift .. we have to clime up one floor by steps ..!!! the view of sea was not enoght becouse they put us to a corner room .

The wide variety of services offered that made it unnecessary to leave the hotel. The facility was beatutiful and a very relaxing way to end our trip to Spain.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, the hotel is very well located off the main boulavard and very close to the beach and the facilities at the hotel are excellent. The staff were very helpful and ocverall it was a very plesant place to stay. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of the hotel; the help from accommodating, pleasant staff; food was excellent;wonderful grounds and basically the whole experience.

There was no slope access directly from the hotel to the beach front,only steps. We had a wheelchair and a pushchair and had to go the long way round to get to the beach.

Friendly Staff. Very good selection of food at buffet breakfast. Excellent position for beach or town. Choice of sunbeds either by pool or in the gardens

Would have preferred tables and chairs by pool side bar which you could have used, albeit the sunbed waitress service was good would have been good to have moved to a small bar area in the pool area, as opposed to having to go to th terrece area, for a snack or drink
