Beautiful city. Easy to walk around the little streets, great cafes, very pretty, interesting history, good fashion boutiques, some local culture, not cheap imported souvenirs. We stayed two days/one night which was perfect.

Ronda is perfect the way it is.

A lovely place just a few footsteps away from the "New Bridge" and most attractions worth seeing in Ronda. Classic design that fits well the city context. Extremely pleasant and friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Wifi connection did not work in the room. Had to go down to the lobby to get connected.

Lovely restored property in the centre of Ronda. This small hotel has modern amenities but has retained its old Andalusian style decor and charm. Very friendly staff. An ideal base for exploring Ronda on foot.

Being located in the centre of the city, there is traffic noise from the street outside the hotel.

The situation was perfect. The rooms couldn't be faulted and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Look no further. This is a great place to stay. We will stay here again. The hotel is right on the corner and you can miss it if you don't look closely.

Easy acces to the old town. No extras that not required for a short stay (2 nights). Helpful staff (manager recommended places to visit on our way to Sevilla). Excellent breakfast with good service..

Noisy from being on busy main street into Ronda. For drivers: As it was our first day driving in Spain we found the signage a bit lacking - could mention the location as being at corner of Armeñan and Tenorio as more likely to drive on Armeñan. Not sure if the hotel actually displays its full name. Although the website refers to a restaurant, don't know if it is closed but it wasn't mentioned (having said that we didn't enquire as we were exploring the town and used other venues).

We liked the charm of the place, the location, and the staffing. We had breakfast at the hotel, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

We found it difficult to locate El Poeta, since all we had was the street address. Perhaps a map of the location within Ronda would help. Also, when we arrived we had a flat screen TV and our fridge was plugged in. When we returned from seeing Ronda, the TV had been replaced with a much smaller one, and the fridge was not plugged in.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff! We even got a bottle of champaign because there wasn't yet a tv in our room! Good location. Clean and nice rooms. Close to sightseeing.

Unfortunately it's a bit noisy because of the road.

Everything was great. It was one of the best hotels during our tour in Spain. It was very old fashioned and very English. The staff was very kindly and helpful and we will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends. We loved it!

Heating system did not work

The weather was unusually foul: heavy rain, extreme winds and V.cold. We 4 friends were the only guests. The hotel was initially cold throughout (including luke warm showers/baths) - we slept in our clothes on the first night! The staff did all they could to warm the place up and were extremely helpful and sociable. It was a shame the rooms and hot water (at least) had not been prepared in readiness for our arrival. Nevertheless we recommend this hotel as an ideal place to stay to see the numerous delights of Ronda. Visit the Museo Lara museum just 50m along the road from the Hotel. Its the best 2 Euros we've spent for a long time. Its a private collection of a wide variety of items that will interest/amuse all ages and tastes, eg clocks, arms, photography, cinema, science, witchcraft, inquisition .........

Beautiful old building, helpful staff and parking in a city where it is near impossible to park. Great detailed directions for finding the hotel as well.

The staff was attentive, accomodating and polite. The hotel is in excellent condition and the location is prime for exploration of the town.
