Score from 756 reviews Very good
The staff were extremely friendly. They were willing to store luggage for 2 weeks for us, when illness prevented us from taking it. The hotel is beautiful, full of character and art, perfect location. We would return.
the style and size of the hotel. the location - close to the New Bridge. the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. I liked the simple, set breakfast.
the hotel is close to a busy road and I found the traffic noise and smell an issue. the hotel has a bar, restaurant and cafe terrace but in November/winter they're closed and there isn't a lounge area.
Location perfect - Beside the Historic Bridge with easy access to the Old and New town - walking distance to Museums and shopping streets. For hiking - beside Gorge and Valley. Intimate Hotel -Beautiful Decor. Manager and staff friendly and helpful.
Attitude of front desk
Easy access to everything that you would want to see in Ronda
Parking a bit of a challenge - like it is in much of Spain.
small neat app., good location, good welcome & follow up
bed room filled with large ward robe, which does not require. a A bed which too small and uncomfortable
very small hotel, with no lounge or bar facilities for guests in the evening.
1. Friendly staff. 2. Hotel build and furniture. 3. Hotel location. 4. Safe in the room. 5. The reduced car park price.
1. Beds are just metal based, (foldable type), with timber slats under mattress. Not good for back problems. Pity, as all other furniture is excellent. 2. Street Noise. 3. Breakfast no choice. Measured amounts of food. Have to keep asking for more. No fruit. 4. Room lighting poor. 5. No chair or seat in the bedroom. Only place to sit is on the bed. 6. No Sat TV in bedroom.
location (fantastic) staff, facilities, breakfast, very comfy beds, value- booked two nights and stayed three
safe deposit key was missing, room fridge was not working, view from some rooms might not be a good as you might expect or hope for
the building itself is very nice.
we got a relatively small room, though the bathroom OK. location is good, but i think there are better options in the same price range. parking is not close.
Location and decor
The air con was not working so we had to sleep with windows open so it was very noisy.
This was a very charming hotel, in great location. Breakfast very nice, and plentiful. The coffee was fantastic, we missed it during the rest of our trip. Economy room a bit small, but adequate, perfectly fine for an overnight.
I had book a superior room. When we arrived it was not available. We were down graded to economy room and charged appropriately. The only other issue was that instructions for room safe were not clear. We had to get assistance from the owner (who attends the front desk for most of the day).
just about every thing
Breath taking views. Perfect location. Highly recommend.
location hotel art and furniture
(1) NO AIR CONDITIONING (2) wasting time with staff who claimed that there was air conditioning, and accusing us of resetting the air conditioning (3) inability to sleep because no only was there no air conditioning (4) given the noisiest room over Ronda's only main street and over courtyard with noise from patrons below and so opening the window wasn't a possibility for sleeping (4) booked room 100 days in advance of trip, asking for a quiet room, and was given the noisiest room with no air conditioning though the hotel is supposed to have air conditioning (5) to be clear, I'm not saying that the air conditioning wasn't good enough, I'm saying that NO AIR, warm or cold came through the hotel room vent!
The position and staff ver friendly.
Good location, nice decor
Very noisy, staff not welcoming, low maintenance We got a room with fridge and safe not working. Manager was unkind and suggested we check-in in other hotel if we don't like it! After angry conversation, he suggested a better room for the same price, which was nice, only that we found out it was the noisiest one in the hotel right above the cafeteria, and that the light in the bath didn't work. And after all that, we had no hot water in the shower. Wouldn't recommend it!
stylish atmosphere, breakfast at the terrace in September,
street noise (but then it's central)
The style of the hotel is endearing, the interior is very nice. The receptionist Tana, was most helpful and an asset to the hotel. We only had breakfast there the one morning; sat on the terrace and enjoyed that. They offer three prices for breakfast, took the middle one and was not disappointed. The bedroom overlooked the main road with good views and it was not noisy as one might have expected. Parking was at a reduced price in an underground car park a few hundred metres away. Above the car park sits one of the main plazas, so perfect to drop the car off and start the tapa trail.
The bathroom would have appreciated more lighting, I know because I asked it.
Nice ambience Stylish design Very good location Friendly staff
Unorganised breakfast Leaking minibar fridge in our room Poor balcony or in fact non balcony (but included in price) Bathroom toiletries were not filled up
Friendly staff and excellent décor. Nice air conditioned room. Liked it so much we managed to book another night as there had been a cancellation. Enjoyed our stay.
Staff friendly Breakfast excellent value but restrictive Room spacious and clean
A bit noisey
Location is good if you want to be close to the gorge which is obviously the main attraction. The building itself was very attractive and the room was spacious.
Location is very noisy with both people and traffic from early in the morning until late in the evening. Considering the hotel is only very small (12 rooms) the staff were not particularly friendly. We were there for four nights and staff couldn't even remember which room we were in, never mind our name. After four nights, having the same breakfast of bread, processed cheese, ham and tomato served up became a little wearing. Although advertised, there was no mini bar (just a fridge which leaked water on the floor), no bathrobe or slippers and no balcony (although this would only have been a Juliet balcony anyway).
For a 'superior double' the room was dark, unwelcoming, uncomfortable and smelly because of drain problems. The hotel was noisy because of the main road and the patron who shouted all the time which echoed in the tiled hallway. The breakfast room was dank and dark and the breakfast poor with no choice at all. This hotel is REALLY overrated at 4 stars. Very poor indeed, don't go there.
