Hotel Bodega El Juncal  

L'arredamento, il patio, ed il fatto che è immerso nella natura.

Mancava acqua calda, il wi-fi nelle camere non funzionava, una federa era sporca.

Helpful staff (when there), especially with giving ideas on things to do. Lovely view of the countryside from our balcony. Heated bathroom floor.

Wifi in the room didn't work and no-one tried to fix it when it was reported. Very annoying as it was my birthday whilst staying there and it meant I couldn't receive a Skype call from Wales. Plus the mobile coverage around the hotel was weak too. Reception wasn't manned most of the time, meaning that quite often you had to go hunting for help.

Comfortable bed. Decor and ambiance in the communal areas. Lovely gardens.

Our suite was cold, could not get the heating to work properly. No window in our bedroom which I found depressing. Having booked a suite I thought there might be some little extras included as it was a four star hotel but it was very basic, didn't make you want to spend any time in there. We had a large private terrace attached to our suite but there was no furniture on it - it looked bare and unloved. I know it was November but it is still possible to sit outside when the sun shines but we didn't have this option. Breakfast was very expensive and not much selection, I felt it was a rip off. If we'd had a warm room with some sort of outlook I would likely have felt very differently about our stay as the hotel is very nice. I was left with an overall feeling of disappointment.

Marta, the member of staff we were mainly exposed to, was excellent and really meant we enjoyed our brief stay. She was helpful, friendly, efficient and really welcoming, could not do enough for us. We would have enjoyed using the hot tub and also taking the wine tasting tour of the bodega, but this was an unplanned short visit, as we had to relocate from the parador, which had a strike going on. We would happily return if travelling in the area again.The evening meal was simple but very nice and delivered in a timely fashion. The wines were delicious. Breakfast was ok, but I would have liked to see covers on the food and a better selection of Pastries, but that is a personal choice. Altogether a lovely, quiet, contemporary and enjoyable visit.

Beautiful lawn, pool and terrace very lovely. Peaceful and quiet. Many birds in the morning - nice little ones. The room was fa tactic for relaxing. Great bed. Breakfast buffet very good. But the best was the staff who came to find us in Ronda and take us to the hotel. their wine which they make was excellent.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Also so quiet just right if you want to chill out. I imagine the pool area would be lovely in summer.

On our confirmation it said we had a room with private terrace. When we were allocated our room there was no terrace, just a barred window. I am very claustrophobic. But the manager transferred us to a room with terrace which was dearer, for no extra charge.

Very comfortable, calm and relax. Few people so that you feel "at home". Rooms might be a little small but bed is big and very comfortable. Breakfast is generous and delicious !

Beautiful hotel in lovely gardens.

Staff very nice but require managed/trained to be more aware of clientele. Had to go out of your way to catch their attention. Staff openly smoking and swimming in pool, not what l would expect from a four star. Food poor, had lasagne which was pre packed and microwaved 12e also lamb chops 25e which consisted of 5 chops from the barbeque, nothing else on plate except chops and had no potatoes or vegetables. We complained we were still hungry to no avail. In a luxury setting beside swimming pool, we had watch 2-6 members of staff for 6 hours renovate a bar. In the mean time they appeared oblivious to their clients who all looked a bit bemused.

El Juncal was very clean 3km away from town center Frendly staff and a good continental breakfast

El Juncal has only just reopened and requires to get the jacuzzi up and running and upgrade the bar, that was not a bar but a book shelf. On arrival there was no food facilities so had to go into Ronda that was 3km away.

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival at El Juncal and throughout our two night stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel had a fantastic rural feel and the view from the balcony over the gardens, pool and surrounding hills was gorgeous. The room was clean and fresh. It was nice to get out of the heat and bustle of the city and was only a 5 minute taxi ride ($8 EURO) into central Ronda.

Wasn't sure about options for evening dining.

Rustig, goeie ligging

Er bleek geen water in het zwembad te zijn. Misschien was half mei nog te vroeg?

Wij verbleven twee nachten in deze mooie omgeving,de suite was erg ruim. Zit gedeelte met terras, ruime slaapkamer en een zeer ruime badkamer. Het eten is lekker en de verzorging m.b.t. wijnen etc. zeer goed. Marta is een van de personeelsleden zij zorgt voor de puntjes op de i..compliment. Spreekt goed engels en meerdere talen, geeft advies m.b.t. wijn en eten. Heerlijk om zo iemand te treffen en te spreken....over de leefwijze van de spaanse bevolking! Inmiddels is er personeel aangenomen dat engels spreekt! Afstand tot centrum zorgt voor een rustige plek waar iedereen wil verblijven!

Klein puntje: Afstand Centrum Ronda te doen maar wel met auto!

Vriendelijk personeel

Zwembad niet in gebruik Ontbijt lekker maar wel erg duur (25 euro voor 2 personen) in verhouding tot ontbijtjes in de stad

Goede uitvalbasis om Ronda te bezoeken. Kleinschalig en gezellig hotel met vriendelijk personeel.

Sehr nettes personal

Goede typische keuken. Prachtig terras/tuin. Zeer sfeervol.

Ruhige lage, Sehr sauber und gut gepflegt, grosses Zimmer mit schöner Aussicht, reichhaltiges Frühstuck, hilfreicher Personal, ausgezeichnetes Preis/Leistungsverhältniss

Etwas schwer zum erstenmal zu finden Auto erforderlich wegen Abstand zu Ronda Zentrum

el trato excelente del personal del hotel, acogedor, silencioso, entorno cuidado

La tranquilidad y el entorno. El personal muy amable. La cama muy cómoda y grande. Con buen tiempo en los jardines y piscina del hotel se tiene que estar de lujo.

Hay que coger el coche . Está lejos del centro del pueblo.

Tolle Lage sehr nahe bei Ronda, wunderschöner, ruhiger Park mit Terassen und Pools und schöner Aussicht über Hügel und Weinberge. Sehr gute Weine und ein super Service!!

guter Standort für Motorradsternfahrten

Pracht ligging juist buiten Ronda. Binnen 5 minuten in de stad. Klein hotel met persoonlijke aandacht. Men spreekt behoorlijk Engels. Keuken goed, men maakt ook wat 'op verzoek'. Grote tuin rondom, zeer rustig.

Ideal para desconectar.Ubicación excelente.

El entorno en el que está ubicado, la tranquilidad del hotel y la amabilidad del personal. La habitación bastante amplia, muy limpia y con un buen baño.

La televisión es muy antigua, para un hotel de 4 estrellas se presupone algo mejor.
