Hotel Boutique Elvira Plaza    

It was one of the greatest hotels I ever stayed at. The location couldn't be better, the hotel is situated in Santa Cruz neighbourhood where guides take their groups. It's amazing you can not just do sightseeing but live in the area. It becomes quiet at night and in the morning the sounds of bells gently wake you. We tried two types of rooms here. The double room is great, but we couldn't book it for the second time and took the junior suite. I would highly recommend it, it is worth the difference in price. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

I hate to advertise the hotel because it already has high rating and I'm afraid they can raise the price :)

Great location without too noisy surroundings. Loved the terrace overlooking the plaza. Shutters on windows kept room nice & dark for sleeping Desk staff very nice (especially Estrella)

Spaciousness of the Jr. Suite Warm, welcoming staff. Salva, at the front desk, gave us a great briefing with map about what to see. Another person at the front desk helped with dinner reservations. Comfortable bed.

Lack of a wardrobe in the room. The corner shelves with a few hangers are insufficient. We had our luggage on the floor, and lived out of it. Our Jr Suite had a balcony, but we could not use it, or even open the doors, because the drain on the balcony had a terrible stench, like sewage and rotten garbage. This has to be fixed!.

Great hotel,very comfortable with lovely restaurant in the tree-lined square.Near all the buildings we wanted to visit as well as streets to explore.Welcoming and helpful staff.

The room overlooked the Dona Elvira Plaza, two french window/doors opened to take in all of the charm. Sidewalk cafes right outside the hotel made things easy. The hotel was very clean, attended to and the staff was one of the most cheerful, attentive and personable we experienced in all of spain. They made it special for us. We stayed for a week and our room was so well cared for. We traveled to several cities and had three other experiences to compare this to. I would stay at this hotel again in a heartbeat. The square can get a bit loud in the morning but we didn't come to Spain to hangout in the room and sleep. in fact it was a good living alarm clock. The goal is really to experience the life of Seville and having vibrant activity outside was not necessarily a problem, it was Seville and we were so perfectly located in the heart of the most beautiful part of the city, no question.

Very nice Hotel in a great location, The staff all spoke excellent English and were very helpful. The room we had was small but very nice and overlooked the square. You could hear guitar music in the evening outside, and general chit chat from people in the restaurant and smell orange blossom which was lovely. I guess if you go to bed early this might be a negative but for us it was brill. We had a wonderful stay in Seville and would definitely go back.

Shabby chic boutique hotel on a lovely, historical plaza with orange trees and a fountain, where you can sit and have a drink and food. Perfect location for walking to all major attractions, and for bars/ restaurants - very close to Cathedral and Alcyzin. Staff very friendly and helpful. Small shop around the corner handy for water and snacks. Seville is a great city to visit - charming, historic, lots to do.

Very noisy during the night from street cleaners, bells etc - windows do nothing to shut out the noise; no English channels on the TV; room very small, but bathroom OK with good shower.

Hotel was small and friendly. Boutique style, nice decor. Excellent position for Santa Cruz area sights, all within easy walking distance. Plenty of restaurants and bars on the doorstep.

No vehicle access to the hotel, so a walk through alleyways was required to find hotel. Taxi dropped us off in main square and pointed in direction we needed to go.....we had to ask twice further in order to find the hotel. Ok if not carrying much luggage and it is not raining! Bathroom and Bedroom floors were not cleaned at all well (if at all) throughout our stay. Between 1am - 2am rubbish collections were made. Very noisy outside as workers shouted to one another whilst collecting the rubbish and bottles. Could be annoying for a light sleeper!

Fabulous hotel with delightful and very helpful staff. Room was very comfortable with excellent facilities.The hotel is perfectly situated for your visit to the lovely city of Seville and very close to all the sights.

excelelnt location, less than 5 minutes walk to the Castle.

My husband and I have just spent four nights in this pretty little hotel in Seville. The location of the hotel in Plaza Doña Elvira is superb, three minutes walk from the Cathedral and the Alcázar and at a stone’s throw from all other places of interest. The square is really a little jewel. The staff is fantastically kind and helpful and they make you feel totally at home. The rooms are pretty and stylish although a bit small and at a certain time of the night, rather noisy while the garbage is being collected. The en-suite bathroom has a lovely shower and free toiletries and the hotel provides slippers for the guests. There is a nice big flat screen tv set and an iPod dock in the room. As for the rest, the area is completely pedestrian, so there is no traffic and there are innumerable restaurants in the area. A very pleasant and significant aspect of the hotel is that they send a ‘Thank You’ email to their guests after departure.

Beautiful spacious room with contemporary furnishings, abundant natural light and a private terrace in a heritage building located in the heart of Bairro Santa Cruz. Literally 100m from Sevilla Cathedral and the Alcazar with bars, restaurants and flamenco in all the surrounding streets. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. I would call this a boutique hotel at very reasonable rates. Noise levels within and surrounding the hotel very acceptable for such a central location - had no trouble sleeping. A highlight of my 6 week trip as far as accommodation concerned.

Nothing for me, the breakfast was standard and probably worth looking elsewhere.

The room was clean and very nice and confortable. Good bed. Quite easy to find and 2 minutes walk from the Giralda. Close to good bars and restaurants. The staff was welcomming and gave us good information. I really recommand it

No minibar in the room and no sale of soft drinks or wine in the hotel at all. Seems to be a deal they have with the restaurants in the square to get guests to buy expensive drinks there instead. There are no normal shops in the area. When we arrived tired, hot and thirsty I first looked for a minibar, then went to reception. They told me to buy at the next-door restaurant. This is a very touristy area, so the cheapest bottle of red wine there cost 16 euro. Open solution between bedroom and toilet.

The location of this hotel is really wonderful in a really charming square. The decoration of the hotel is also really nice. The front desk staff was extremely helpful in answering our endless questions about local tourist attractions and kept helping us find places on our map with great patience!

Our room was extremely small and cramped. It also smelled like a backed up sewer which was quite difficult to bear. The bathroom was in full view of the bed and it had a glass door! Thus we could have no privacy at all in the bathroom. Our room was very poorly laid out and quite claustrophobic. If you are going to stay here make sure you book a big room (if there are any).

The hotel is in Plaza Doña Elvira, a very quaint square in Barrio Santa Cruz. There are many restaurants and shops close by, and we were just a few blocks away from La Catedral and La Giralda and the Real Alcázar. The decor is lovely, a little shabby chic. Our room had a terrace facing the interior so we did not have any issues with noise from the Plaza.

Our room was very small. We managed, but there was barely any space for our luggage, and we had carry-on bags. The bathroom was very modern, but the doors were clear glass so we got creative about privacy. The bed was a full size, not the easiest to share (it was the smallest we encountered throughout our trip). If ease of transportation is important to you, this hotel might not be the best choice. It is located 5-8 minutes away from the roads accessible by car. You have to walk with your luggage for a few blocks to reach it, and the roads are made of stone. This is common, but might be tough for people with lots of luggage, families with young kids or elderly people. This is a boutique hotel, so the price is somewhat high for the amenities it has. It is more about ambiance.
