I complained about a couple of items no working in our room and by the time we returned they were all corrected. Very helpful staff. Lighting poor not for the elderly. Stairs steep and not well lit.

The warm greeting we always received from staff. Central location. Delicious and varied breakfast. Was a little concerned that we would trip down the (small) step from our bed to the toilet during the night so kept toilet light on whilst sleeping so we could locate "step" down. This disturbed our sleep a little. (room 102)

I like their location just right next to the Cathedral. The breakfast bar is excellent which you have a lot of choices. The interior design is very fashionable. The view on the rooftope is outstanding.

Lovely hotel, great location and good service The nightclub on the roof. Unless you are a nightclubber and intend to be on the roof until 3am don't stay here on any floor higher than the 2nd. Otherwise you won't be able to sleep.

The Hotel is modern and has a superb location and is in the heart of the Old Town. The staff were friendly and accomodating. A couple of times the staff seemed a little bit disorganised. Our reservation stated a 'Cathedral View' but we were initially placed in non Cathedral view room. This was rectified quickly and an 'apology' was offered. Our reservation included a complimentary Spa 'circuit' which although mentioned on check in and confirmed, staff then wanted to charge for it (until a few phone calls were made to reception) and a further apology ensued. We stayed for the 300 euro New Years Eve dinner and again there were a few timing hickups. (I love spanish people but keeping to a time is'nt always thier cultural strong suit). The piano player was an excellent musician but the musical choices were more sunday morning at church rather than celebrating the new year in.

Staff at all levels were very discrete, friendly and obliging -nothing was too much trouble. Individuality of room design and high standards of decor. Parking service and transfer of luggage easy and efficient. Crumbs on the breakfast room seating

The hotel is in black design, making it impossible to work at the desk in the room and dangerous to walk the gangways. No shower and impossible to get out of the barthtub if you are older than 60, but since you can not open the shampoo bothles no need for a barth anyway.

Great spot easy to walk to everything. Hotel staff very helpful and despite my mistake with dates booked and the National strike we were able to stay an extra night and even had our room upgraded. Fantastic room with the most splendid view. My only criticism being that we had too much champagne!

Location, interesting rooms, good staff Due to location you need to valet park your car some considerable distance away, or park outside the city centre and taxi to the hotel. This would apply to any hotel so close to the cathedral.

The location is perfect. The decor is modern but welcoming. The rooms are large for Europe and well decorated. Comfortable beds, great shower, bathroom products included. Free WiFi. Swimming pool. Amazing roof top bar with incredible views of the cathedral and Giralda tower. This is the only hotel i would stay in if I were to return to Seville!

The location. Opposite the Carhedral. It was very dark....so dark they suggested asking for more light in the bedroom it was so dim...in all bedrooms! The rooms were Spartan like in furnishing and it all looked like the builder had just left without being paid! Too much plastic and cheap IKEA everything. Very poor and especially as the price was 5 star! over 500!uros for 2 nights .... The room service was very slow and kind of their desk services were actually working. Also the air conditioning did not work. DONT stay there!

A beautifullly designed hotel. The night views of the cathedral from the roof top bar and restaurant had a very high Wow! factor. The swimming pool was lovely to chill in after sightseeing. The breakfast in the restaurant was one of the best we ever had on our Spanish trip. ...but not enough Spanish ham if you were late for breakfast.

The superb location and the wonderful staff were the stand out features. We always travel with an optimistic outlook and do not go looking to pick fault. I always try to do my homework before finally choosing accommodation, (I don't entrust Travel Agents) on a holiday. If the chosen accommodation is not what we wanted then I personally take responsibility for perhaps not choosing the correct location. Unfortunately, some people seem unable to do this. Finally, I definitely made the correct decision on this occasion as the Hotel Catedral catered for all our needs and wishes. I would rather stay in one excellent hotel and location per year than two or three mediocre ones and this was fantastic. I requested a high floor if possible for our 5 night stay and the wonderful room 402 was almost the highest in the hotel. Admittedly, the fairly loud music immediately above us until after midnight may have been not to some peoples taste but we were not too troubled by it. Ear-plugs are available from the reception but we found 4 miles walking around the fabulous historical sights of Seville everyday with a few beverages and tapas plus a final nightcap on the rooftop meant we slept soundly.
