Excelent location, nice staff, very cool bar on the last floor
although the location is excellent there's always some noise from people on the street and restaurants nearby.
I do about 60 nights a year in a4/5 star hotel a year. This is the best in 2014
I has to replace 5 times (on 7 nights)the keycard
Incredible staff, the best location and super stylish
Everything was awesome
The location is excellent, it's within walking distance to everywhere. The staffs are very friendly, pretty/handsome and professional .
The room is a bit of a disappointment. It's felt much smaller than seen in the pictures. Our room faces an alley with restaurant which can be quite noisy.
Location and staff
Noisy top floor bar as my bedroom was on the 4th floor.
The staff were all very helpfull, friendly and attentive. The buffet breakfast was varied and had lots of fresh options, including fruit. It was undoubtablely centrally positioned for all the tourist visits, & the beautiful Cathedral was on your doorstep. Fortunately with silent bells.
The room was very art deco, but i found it impractical having a wash hand basin in the bedroom seperate to the w.c. Also there was poor maintenance of the shower surround and it leaked quite a lot, which was a cold surprise on the first day having dropped my towel within reach! The maid turning up to turn down the bed at 6pm seemed a little early if friendly.
Excellent location. Excellent roof garden/bar with panoramic view of cathedral. Staff very pleasant & most helpful.
Room had no outlook & was dark.. Bath in the bedroom & general room layout left no convenient space for suitcases. Hallway to lift uninviting up a dark ramp past the spa. Poor breakfast, stale bread & pastries. Dark room for breakfast. Entry to hotel was uninviting in our opinion.
The staff met all requests perfectly. It was a 1st meet for us. We could not have asked for a better experience than this Hotel. We fell in love and will always have the fondest memory of EME Catedral and the friendly, exceptional staff. Big thanks to them. I would recommend to anyone.
I liked it all. It was a totally positive experience.
The way that the hotel listened to clients needs and helped to make their holiday the best!
Levels of noise some evenings in road outside the hotel
We were thrilled with the location. The hotel is sleek and beautiful. We had a minor issue with our shower and the hotel staff accommodated us to a bigger room at no extra cost. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Would recommend for sure.
The staff were not friendly. We were 5 people staying in 3 different rooms . The rooms smell of humidity and you can feel the humidity all over the rooms and I guess they burn scents to cut down the bad smell in the hotel. I wouldnt stay in this hotel again.
Location was right in the middle of the action. Great roof top bar and music.
Small toilet space - wc too close to the wall.
The location cannot be beaten. Quirky labyrinth of corridors was a pleasant folly, but also leads to a peaceful inner sanctum from city bustle - to our room anyway! Staff were attentive, friendly and really helpful - excellent Breakfast choice was plenty. Comfortable room
Trendy room decor was very (too) dark. More optional lighting would be good!
The welcome drinks.. The hot tub
The straws in drinks.. They're very strong. Poked myself in the eye going up steps back to room.
The location right in the city centre The meet and greet service from the staff and the valet parking service
The rooftop bar ( open to the public and operating like a nightclub )which caused disruption to the hotel ambience and noise that kept guests on the 3rd floor and 4th floor bedroom areas awake until 3am The poor quality breakfast with the hot dishes freezing cold and the staff very slow to refresh the empty buffet serving area leading to long queues of unhappy diners
Good view, food and design
Great tourist location, style of hotel, rooftop bar
Noise from music playing in the hotel nearly all day and until approx 2am, while the style of the rooms was slightly cavernous, the darkness did get a bit annoying at times
- Great location! - Super friendly staff - Stylishly decorated - Superb cocktails - Hotel smelt beautiful every time you walked into reception
- No sun loungers by the pool as per the hotel pictures just a couple of hard upright plastic chairs. Disappointing as I specifically chose the hotel for the pool area which I wanted to use after sightseeing. It was largely deserted I suspect because it felt like it had been packed up for the end of the tourist season (lots of the bar area on the roof terrace were also packed up and closed). - The street outside our room whilst very pretty and atmospheric was extremely noisy into the early hours, it didn't bother me as I am a deep sleeper but even with ear plugs my friend didn't sleep well. - We were given a (disabled) twin room which wasn't a big issue but it would have been nice to have a bath and the bathroom as per the photos we had viewed when we booked the hotel when you consider we were paying over £200 per night for the hotel. - 20 euros for breakfast is very steep and the choice wasn't worthy of the price tag.
Location was perfect, fantastic bar with Flamenco dancing nearby. Breakfast perfect with plenty to choose from.
Location was good and the breakfast fine. Staff very efficient and friendly
It was not made clear that the bells in the adjacent cathedral chimed on the hour etc which disturbs your sleep (despite ear plugs being offered by the hotel). Also that the car valeting service required 3/4 hr to get the car
The staff are lovely; very helpful and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the room has high quality finishing.... and of course the view of the cathedral is great!
The room we had was small and overlooked a street which was quite noisy at night. It didn't help that the room had no air conditioning! The water pressure in the shower was poor and in a bath so difficult for persons with mobility issues. Frankly it has some way to go before it could be considered 5*
Bathroom was good
Access is incredibly difficult Windows open on a wall Bedroom layout awkward Inside shutters cant open completely. When open they are dangerous or stay in the dark Bedroom down stairs difficult with luggage
Dark cool interior was very welcoming after a hot day of touring. Modern decor. Roof bar was cool and breezy but was a bit crowded.
Noise outside the window, 24 hrs a day. To stay on the street side, you have to be a very sound sleeper.
Very innovative room design, lovely breakfast setting with fountain courtyard, excellent food and service. Lots of information given about the hotel, its' facilities, the town, restaurants. Very relaxed atmosphere. Location couldn't be better.
Reception is shabby for this price of hotel and initially not very welcoming. Despite good double glazing, the streets at night can be very noisy. The rooftop bar and restaurant are not as enticing as in the brochure and attract mostly young and noisy customers.
Small room for the money. Hot tub so over chlorinated ruined swimwear! Bells from cathedral are ridiculously loud. Offered ear plugs but you would need to be deaf for it to joy bother you Don t take room 320. You might as well be sleeping in the bar!
