This is one of the funkiest little (boutique style) hotels that we have ever stayed in. We were met upon our arrival by the manager who told us to come in and make ourselves at home. The cosy little bar was warm and inviting, and guests are invited to help themselves to the bar drinks all of which are included in the room rate. Breakfast in the morning was one of the best we have had in Spain, with the produce very fresh and individual. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay somewhere a little bit different from the normal cold and formal hotels and wants to really feel at home. Nothing to complain, exceptional in every way......

We loved this hotel as everything including the room, gardens, terrace and pool were extremely well designed and fantastically original. The breakfast was a modern work of art in the way it was displayed and presented as well as being very delicious. The views of the countryside around Ronda at the back of the hotel were really special.

The fantastic views from our balcony and the interesting decor in the rooms as well as in the gardens. The multiple terraces/balconies meant you could always find a quiet spot to relax in the sun. The free bar (beer, house wines and fruit juices) were also very welcome. Breakfasts were 5 star with freshly cooked quails eggs, local sausage, bacon, as well as an extensive selection of salads, cold meats, fruits, pastries on offer. Well done!

The imaginative use of space and all sorts of items to create a completely original hotel environment. Lots of different areas to enjoy. Attractively presented breakfast with plenty of options. Excellent location. Free street parking close to hotel. Helpful staff. And free bar and continuously available tea and coffee. Not the hotel's fault, but refuse collection during the night and the occasional noisy bike meant we had to close the window. Best to ask for a room at the back. The air con was a little noisy and the TV too small for the room, but there's so much to do you won't want to watch TV.

We loved the staff, they made us feel like it was our own home. The artsy quirky touches everywhere and the music were so much fun. We liked being the only Americans in the hotel, we met interesting guests from everywhere. Fantastic views and outdoor areas.

we loved everything about this hotel you have to see it to believe it! as advertised you treat it like your own home. it was great fun helping yourself to the bar pulling your own beers and making coffee. we had a room with a balcony (definately rec) over looking the pool. great position walking distance a bit hilly but not hard to everything. parking is on the street we were lucky and had no trouble getting a park out the front but could be a bit hard a different times. if you want something different and a bit of fun definately stay there. clean and comfortable

A great little hotel! It's an adventure to explore this place. Turn another corner, climb another stair and discover another lovely patio or sunny terrace, all decorated with great imagination. The staff is very friendly and the open bar is a remarkable extra. Breakfast provides a good choise, although it starts only at 8.30. There is free wifi in the lobby, but it did not work in my room. The location is slightly away from the center. Not so far "as the bird flies", but birds don't have to worry about climbing steep hills.

One of the most unique, relaxing and enjoyable places we have ever stayed. The creative decor is delightful!. The gardens to walk in - with a wonderful view of the Old City - are perfect for downtime during a busy holiday. The ability to come back and enjoy a beer, wine or coffee at any time was a treat. The room was great... Location perfect. The Staff was so helpful and friendly. And the made to order breakfast? The best on the trip. We would come back here absolutely. And don't forget your swimsuit... Great pool... Computer room... Etc etc... the list goes on and on. We loved this place and would stay here again absolutely. There was nothing we did not like. Although wasn't too thrilled with the recommended tapas places... Actually more my ignorance as to what the cost should be so got half rations vice tapas. Caught on quickly.

The decoration, the garden and the open bar are all great features. The lack of staff on site after 9 meant that some patrons were noisier than was reasonable, very late.

Great location, beautiful scenery and the hotel's interior an original mix of old and new with surprising eco-touches. Service friendly and more flexible than much what I've seen. Despite recent reviews, our room was nicely climatized - must have got their airco problem fixed. In short, great value for money.

What a special experience! A small but extremely original hotel, with a perfect location, full of surprises : the rooms, that are of an excellent standard (very clean and bright), the gardens as well as the marvellous breakfast (served till 12.00 noon) and the free (!) self- service bar. Some days before getting there, we read some comments about the air conditioning not working… Luckily it had been fixed before we arrived ! The whole hotel had a very pleasant cool temperature, as well as the rooms were the ac was working perfectly. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. We should have booked more nights at this hotel, as it was so different to the ones we stayed in in Seville and Granada.

I have never stayed at a hotel like it before. It was a fabulous experience. You have to try the doctor fish. Even though it was fairly full it didn't feel crowded as there are so many different areas. The free bar was great and the breakfast was lovely. The room was extremely hot. Avoid the top floor if you can during the summer. The air conditioning is old and nowhere near as efficient as it should be.

We stayed in this beautiful hotel two years ago. We choose to come back because the atmosphere is very special and the design concept of the hotel makes it different. The beds are perfect, the views wonderful. Two years ago the air conditioning was not working at all. We thought it was an unusual circumstance and decided this year to try again. With temperatures rising up to 40 c in june we think that air conditioning is essential. Especially for guests from abroad. We noticed that the hotel had been renovated except for the air co. The nights where really a hell for me and the rest of the group of four. We received 5% discount, but this does not take away the dissapointment of what could have been a nice time. Don' go there when it is warm!

We loved this hotel! ... the room, the large and comfy private terrace, the constant stream of good tunes, the churros, the artfulness and whimsicality of the surroundings, the free flowing sherry barrels, the lack of annoying signage saying 'do this', 'don't do that', the feeling of being at home both in our room and throughout the hotel's myriad, various and welcoming spaces, the skateboard deck computer lounge and the outdoor surfboard bar, the chilepepper rockers, the pool area, the stunning views, the location. All of it immensely satisfying and more-ish! The coffee provided during breakfast was no good. That said, guests have full access to an espresso machine for making their own properly caffeinated dose.
