The staff were very freindly and helpful and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was very good indeed. this was certianly value for money and we will definately return on our next cycling trip to Mallorca.

This was our 6th visit to this Hotel.. We have always had a wonderful welcome, I now specifically ask for a particular room and we are always given it. The breakfast is lovely and the pizzas are FANTASTIC! The staff are always very friendly, speak English and always happy to help. I wouldn't hesitate to suggest this hotel to anyone. It is an old hotel and very basic in the bedrooms but spotlessly clean and cleaned on a daily basis. My Mum is now 81 and we have just returned from our second visit this year. Brilliant hotel and in an excellent location in Puerto Pollensa. Can't wait for our next visit.

I liked everything really: the location, the sea, my room faced the beach, beautiful nature, not much noise, close to shops, bus point, information centre,rent a car and a cycle service, change of currency, the staff very friendly and caring.

I would not find anything wrong about it.

Got the famous room 311 - tried to book upgrade before we went - supposedly no rooms available - immediately on arrival offered 100 euro upgrade from booked room - which was looking over the central ventilation shaft - you couldnt swing a mouse let alone a cat! No coathangers, no plug for sink - at 30 euro a night inc breakfast what did I expect - you pays your money etc....room was cleaned regularly and sheets towels changed.

Location was excellent,price was good. Staff were friendly.

Traffic a little noisy,had to ask for a remote control for the air con,instead of just being given one at check in.tv stuck on one channel.

When I arrived and checked into my room, it stank of cigarette smoke. I'd specifically booked a non smoking room so went stright down to reception to voice my dissatisfaction. The gentleman on reception came upstairs and agreed that the room smelt like someone had been smoking in it. (I even noticed a cigarette burn in the sheets later.) He said that there were no other available rooms that night and I could be moved in the morning. When I came down for breakfast there was no mention of it. Perhaps I should have asked again myself but having worked in the holiday industry I would have thought the manager would have had enough initiative not to leave issues raised by an unhappy customer unaddressed. A proactive approach counts for a lot. Breakfast was poor. The "fresh" fruit that was presented needed to go in the bin. I ended up going elsewhere. Upon checking out I wasn't even asked if I'd had a nice holiday/ had enjoyed my stay. I fully appreciate that this is a budget "hotel" but this doesn't make up for the above points which I believe could have been easily addressed.

1 - the location, 2 - Angel the head waiter, 3 - the hard working waitresses, 4 - the cleaning staff.

1 - the management staff, 2 - the breakfasts, 3 - the exorbitant charge for a safe key, 4 - the inflated price for a 2 star hotel, 5 - the constant request for my room number at breakfast, 6 - the new waiter from the Can Ferra restaurant around the corner.

The staff were very helpful. The location is perfect.

The price and location. Breakfast wasn't bad either.

The night Porter. He was very rude upon check in and never gave us the remote controls to operate the air conditioning and TV, which meant we had none for our first 2 nights which was very annoying! Other than that it was great. Could do with a refurbishment however as it is quite aged now, but still clean and comfortable.

On the upside the food was very tasty. I recommend the Goliordani with Pesto. Downside to this is that the portions are too small. The cleaning ladies were very friendly.

Beds are unstable and shaky. Electrical outlets only one working in the room, 2 exists. Walls paper thin, noice from outside kept us awake mostly all night and we could clearly hear normal conversations from other rooms. Issues with AC during night. Internet access through wifi not working (wifi connectivity worked but internet access did not) and personel not competent enough to handle it so we had no internet access for the whole duration.

This is the third time we have stopped at the Eolo.The rooms are clean and the staff have always been very friendly and helpful.

The rooms need updating,old wooden furniture looks tatty.

The rooms are fairly basic but very clean with air con which is a must in August. The staff were very friendly indeed, would stay again.

Because it's such a great central location, parking in the street in the immediate area is metered so it can be a bit of a walk to find a space in the free-parking streets. I wouldn't let that put anyone off though.

The staff was very friendly and made us feel like part of the Eolo family! As the hotel does not have a swimming pool it means that they rarely have children staying. Perfect for us as a couple on Holiday. The hotel is just by the beach and very close to restaurants and bars. Go for a room with balcony. Breakfast is fine and can be enjoyed in front of the hotel in the sun overlooking the ocean and mountains. Rooms are very simple but has all you need. Very good value for money.

The rooms are not very good isolated (both sounds from other rooms and sounds from the street) so if you are an easy sleeper you should bring earplugs. However, with earplugs the place was perfect!

The location was very good - in city center, near port and beach.

The room was very small with one window, opening to front and side walls with conditioners' boxes.

The atmosphere at the Eolo is nice. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. The restaurant is pleasant. It´s nice to be able to have breakfast outside. Close to everything. It´s good value for the money

My single room no 410 was tiny. Although I could see the mountains I also saw a wall opposite my tiny window. ( get a room a bit more expensive with balcony and seaview, they look really nice) The 3 nights I stayed there, the noise from people in the street was very loud, even with the window closed. But the overall impression is still good.

Sehr nettes Hotel direkt an der Strandpromenade und gegenüber der Bushaltestelle, also sehr zentral. Das Zimmer lag zwar zur Straßenseite, aber für 2 Nächte und mit Oropax kein Problem. Es gibt auch Zimmer mit Balkon in Richtung Strand (ohne Autoverkehr!) Das Personal wirklich unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit!!! :-). Es gab ein technisches Problem mit dem Fernseher, das umgehend mit Hilfe eines extra herbeigerufenen Technikers (etwa 20:00 Uhr) behoben wurde! Die Betten sind sehr gut und bequem. Die Duschwanne ist vielleicht schon etwas älter und könnte mal ausgewechselt werden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut ok! Für diesen Preis kann man kein ausgefallenes Frühstücksbuffet erwarten! Positiv zu erwähnen ist da auch noch der vorhandene Fahrstuhl! Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer und herzlicher Aufenthalt! :-)
